You are a carrier of His glory!

The Lord says:

"Prepare yourselves to be filled with My glory like never before! For I am raising up a people who will be carriers of My glory in a time like this! Just as in the days of Solomon when the temple was prepared, so are you who are the temple of My Spirit! I will show you the many things that the world cannot see. I will even show you what is to come. You shall walk in My Spirit and My revelation in deeper ways. Nothing of the flesh matters anymore!"

1 Kings 8:10-11 (NKJV) says, 'And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.'

This happened in King Solomon's days. The word 'glory' here is 'kabowd' in Hebrew, and it can mean 'splendor, magnificence, honor, weight'. That is to say, the glory of the Lord is real, is present, and is tangible. It is the very presence of the Lord. For those who have experienced it, or even experienced a glimpse of it, you will know what I mean. It's so real, and words cannot fully describe it.

As a beloved of God, you can experience this glory of the Lord and be filled with this glory of the Lord. In fact, people around you can actually sense it, and see the glory of the Lord in your life.

Isaiah 60:1-2 (NKJV) says, 'Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.'

Back to King Solomon's days. When the glory of the Lord filled the temple that Solomon built, nothing of the flesh mattered anymore. All that's of the world has become like a shadow. It's all about the Lord now. Not about the works of man or the achievements of man. Even the priest could not continue ministering, as you can see in 1 Kings 8:10-11 just now.

With such awesome presence of the Lord, all Solomon could do was to turn around and release the blessings of the Lord upon the people at that time! You see, with the glory of the Lord so heavy upon you, blessings flow.

Today, as believers of the Lord in the New Covenant, you and I are now the temple of the Holy Spirit. Not made with stones. Not made with bricks.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NKJV) says, 'Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.'

At this juncture of our lives, let us dedicate ourselves anew to the Lord. Ask the Lord to wash us and cleanse us.

What are the keys to God's glory manifesting in your life?

1. Holiness and purity

1 Corinthians 6:18 (NKJV) says, 'Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.'

2 Corinthians 7:1 (NKJV) says, 'Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.'

Let the Holy Spirit fill you right now. The Holy Spirit is the HOLY SPIRIT. The Spirit of holiness. Let the fire of His holiness cleanse and wash us.

2. Worship and surrender

Romans 12:1 (NLT) says, 'And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice - the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him.'

We worship Him not just with songs and music, but we worship Him with our bodies, presenting ourselves to Him as a living and holy sacrifice unto Him.

3. Praise and thanksgiving

Psalm 50:14-15 (NKJV) says, 'Offer to God thanksgiving... Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.'

Psalm 50:23 (NKJV) says, 'Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation ('Yeshuwah') of God.'

As you live a life of praising Him and giving thanks to Him; not just in good times, but at all times; He will know how to show you His glory and His goodness. You will begin to walk in the realm of greater blessings and miracles.

Not just that. The power of darkness cannot have a hold on you or 'touch' you. You will have divine protection of the Lord. No matter how the enemies try to pull you down, they cannot succeed. Because you have the covering of the blood of Jesus Christ, and you have the glory of the Lord enveloping you and surrounding you. Amen!

Words from the Lord: "A shifting is taking place!"

The Lord says:

"This is the time for a shift to the new! There is a shifting taking place in the spiritual realm. Move and flow with My time and season. There is even a shifting of mindsets and a shifting of how My people begin to see and understand things. This is the time to walk away from the past that has bound you, and walk into the many new and greater things that I have prepared for you!"

The word 'shift' in our context here can mean 'a change of direction in life, a change of perspective in life, or a change of priority in life'. It can also mean 'the start of a new season in life, or the start of a new chapter in life'.

Indeed, there is a shifting taking place right now. A shifting to the better in your life!

A new chapter is unfolding for your life! A new page is unfolding for your life!

This is the time to walk into it!

In Ezekiel 36:25-27, the Lord says: "I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them."

Even though these verses are meant as God's promises and blessings for Israel, but in our context today, these verses can also apply to you and I. Why? Because we are God's people and God's beloved too!

This is the time and season that the Lord is putting new things into your life! Today, the Lord has spoken clearly, that something has started to change in your life! Change to the better, of course! Receive this by faith!

Interestingly, the word 'statutes' here in Ezekiel 36:27 is 'choq' in Hebrew, and this word can mean 'appointments, instructions, decrees, commands'. As you begin to receive the newness from the Lord and the refreshing in your spirit, and as you begin to walk according to His instructions and blueprints for your life, you will also begin to walk into new appointments that are being set up by the Lord for you. Yes, new appointments, divine appointments, that will open up new opportunities and new things for you! Even new friendships and new open doors!

In Ezekiel 36:34-36, the Lord says: "The desolate land shall be tilled instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass by. So they will say, 'This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the wasted, desolate, and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.' Then the nations which are left all around you shall know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted what was desolate. I, the Lord have spoken it, and I will do it."

Even though these verses are, again, meant for Israel, but these verses can also apply to you too.

Whatever 'desolation', 'barrenness', or 'ruins' that you have experienced in your past, that's past. Let all these go. Let go of whatever mistake and sin in your past. Let go of whatever that has held you back from moving forward to the new. Let go of those hurts. Let go of those unforgiveness. Let go of those regrets. Let go of those bitterness. Yes, even let go of the envy or jealousy that you may have regarding somebody else. Open that prison doors, and let them go.

Yes, even let go of all your burdens to the Lord.

Today, the Lord is planting new seeds in your life! You shall begin to see new things. You shall begin to see better things. You shall begin to see all these coming forth in your life. You shall shift even from barrenness to fruitfulness. Remember the word 'shift' today. The shift that the Lord is doing right now in your life! Yes, a shift to the better!

So, beloved, don't miss out what God is doing in your life right now. This is your time to walk out of your 'ruins' and 'desolations'! This is your time to walk into the many new things that God has in store for you! Don't look back. Don't linger in that past, whatever that past may be. There is a whole new world waiting for you. There is a whole new world of new things ahead of you. Take this step of faith to the new, just as what prophet Ezekiel had prophesied in Ezekiel 36!

Indeed, the best is still to come for you!

Words from the Lord: "This is your time to come forth!"

The Lord says:

"In a volatile and turbulent time like this, do not allow yourself to bow down and succumb under the atmosphere around you. This is the time to receive My power to rise above and not go below. Rise above every discouragement sent by the enemy. Rise above every grief and disappointment. Rise above every regret and stagnation. This is your time to come forth! This is your time for a breakthrough! Declare that things have begun moving! Look to Me and receive! For I have overcome for you!"

In John 16:33, Jesus says: "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

The word 'overcome' here is 'nikao' in Greek, meaning 'to subdue, to conquer, to prevail, to get the victory'. So today, the Lord has given you the power to subdue, the power to conquer, the power to prevail, and the power to get your victory!

Here in John 16:33, Jesus says that He has overcome the world! Now, 'the world' here is translated in Greek as 'kosmos', which means 'the patterns (or the ways) of this world'. If you look around you, you'd see that the patterns (or the ways) of this fallen world is full of trouble, confusion, griefs, problems, hurts, bitterness, and so on. We cannot deny this fact. Every day, we see more bad news than good news in the news channels.

But you know what? There's great hope for us who are believers, because in Jesus, you have peace, even though in the world, there is tribulation or trouble.

So, what does this word 'tribulation' mean here (in the context of this verse)? It is the word 'thlipsis' in Greek, which can mean 'pressure, stress, anguish, burden, persecution, trouble'.

But in spite of all this, the Lord has a good news for you. What is this good news? In Him, you may have peace. This word 'peace' is 'eirene' in Greek, which carries the meaning 'being at rest, having quietness, being at one (with God)'.

As I was praying and talking to God recently, this word 'overcome' kept coming to mind. So, I decided to check this word out. This word can be defined as 'to succeed in a struggle against (something)'. It can also be defined as 'to defeat, to be victorious, to triumph'. Or it can be defined as 'to find a way of dealing with or solving (a problem)'.

So, if Jesus has overcome for you, it means He has ways to deal with or solve all of your situations or problems. In other words, He is the solution to any trouble, grief, confusion, or whatever trouble that is in this world. Why? Simply because John 14:6 says that He is the way, the truth, and the life! You see, He is the way! He will know how to open a way for you! He will know how to clear the way for you! He will know how to make a way for you, where there seems to be no way!

Whatever you may be going through at the moment, know that He has opened the way for you, He has cleared the way for you, and He has begun making a way for you!

What's your part? What should you do now?

Let go of all your bitterness and grudges, whether against others who have offended you or hurt you, or even against your own self. Maybe it's due to certain regrets that you have. Maybe it's due to some past mistakes that you've made. Let it all go to the Lord. Look to the Lord afresh and anew. The Lord will know how to help you turn a new leaf of life, or a new page in your life. All is not lost yet. The Lord is always the Lord of new things, even in your life. So, cast all your cares and cast all your burdens to Him.

Yes, clear away all your sins. Let go of whatever that hinders your walk with the Lord. Ask the Lord to show you what are those areas in your life that have hindered your walk with the Lord. Ask the Lord to help you. He will show you. He will help you. Because He loves you so much. He sees you as His beloved.

Whatever trouble or tribulation you may be facing at the moment, and in any area of your life, I want to declare by faith that the Lord has a way out for you! Can you say "Amen!" to that? Let not your heart doubt. But let your heart believe and receive. To men, it may be impossible in your situation; but to God, all things are possible. Look to the Lord. He is a God of all possibilities. Look to Him, and receive now the power to overcome!

Seeing with your spiritual eyes in unpredictable times

The Lord says:

"In a time of volatility that's coming in this world, look to Me and look not to the worldly ways or worldly systems for the answers. For I will make the way clear for you. I will show you the way of escape. I will show you the way to safety. For I am enlightening the spiritual eyes of My people to 'see' in ways that the world cannot 'see'. I am raising up a people who are clear in their spiritual understanding and spiritual perception."

The word 'volatility' can be defined as 'the tendency to change quickly and unpredictably', or 'the tendency to change suddenly and unexpectedly'. This can be politically, socially, geographically, or economically. And it's going to happen more and more in the coming months. But fear not, beloved. Because the Lord will know how to show you the way to deal with all this, in spite of whatever 'headwind' that's coming in the world. Your part is to look to Him and trust Him. He will know how to lead you, guide you, and show you the way.

In the context of our message today, 'to be clear' is 'to be free from any form of ambiguity', or 'the ability to see clearly with our spiritual eyes'. Many people in this world may see with their natural (or physical) eyes, but you can see with your spiritual eyes. Because the Spirit of the Lord is in you. You'll see how God sees. You'll see the way God sees, not the way the world sees.

Ephesians 1:17-18 (NKJV) says, '...that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened...'

When many people in this world are in a state of confusion and are panicky, you will not be like them. Because the Lord will cause you to see clearly with your spiritual eyes, and from the lenses of God. You will not need to be afraid like those in this world. In fact, the Lord has promised that He will show you the way of escape, and He will show you the way to safety. Keep believing and keep looking to the Lord.

Are you in a situation where there's just no way out for you, or no way of escape for you? Or you feel like you are 'trapped' in the situation that you're in?

Whatever the situation that you may be facing at the moment, take heart. Because as long as your heart draws near to the Lord, and your spirit is open to the Lord, things can change suddenly for you. Yes, even a breakthrough that you've never imagined can happen. You may even see a sudden change of fortunes in ways that you cannot imagine yet. Remember, all things are possible to God!

In spite of whatever that's happening around you at the moment, and maybe things aren't going too well for your life at the moment, do not lose heart and do not lose hope. As long as you know the Lord is still with you, all things are possible. The Lord your God can suddenly spring a surprise for you.

Right now, the Lord is releasing the anointing upon you to be set free from whatever this fallen world has framed you and molded you. Let every yoke, bondage, and limitation in your life be destroyed! And let your spiritual eyes of understanding be enlightened to begin to 'see' the way God wants you to 'see'!

You see, as a beloved of God, you have hope. You know why? Because you have the Lord your God with you. Nothing else matters more. So, draw near to the Lord, and He will draw near to you. Let His Spirit fill you to the overflow. Commune with Him and go deeper with Him. His Word and His Spirit. He will show you what to do and how to go about, going forward. He will show you the many secrets that the world doesn't know, yes, even the future. He will equip you and prepare you for what is to come in this world. You'll be glad you did!

How to hear clearly from God?

"How do you hear from God?"

"How do you know what to do and what not to do?"

"How do you know things should be done this way and not that way?"

"How do you know that person is the right person to work with, and that other person is not?"

"How do you know God is calling you to do certain things, or move to a certain location?"

These are some of the questions people often ask me.

Now, if I say, "I know that I know that I know", those who ask probably won't be convinced or satisfied with that kind of answer.

So, to begin with, let's go all the way to 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (NKJV). 'But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.'

Look at the three parts that I've underlined here: 'revealed', 'all things', 'deep things'.

The word 'revealed' here in Greek is 'apokalupto', which means 'take off the cover, disclose, unveil'. In other words, God wants to share many secrets with you. May your spiritual eyes be opened to see, and your spiritual ears be opened to hear.

How about the words 'all things'? Now, 'all things' here means 'all spiritual things'. You see, the spiritual things are the deeper things of God.

Notice the words 'deep things' here. It can mean 'depth, mysteries, profound, far-reaching, great knowledge'. In other words, deeper knowledge. Deeper knowledge of what? Deeper knowledge of what God wants to tell us, or the secrets that God wants to tell us. And the Scripture tells us that He reveals all this to us through His Spirit

Amos 3:7-8 (NKJV) says, 'Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants...'

See the word 'reveals' here? See the word 'secret' here? You see, God is still speaking, and He is still in the 'business' of speaking to you today. So beloved, expect to receive His secrets or His revelations when He speaks to you. He reveals first before He acts, or before He works through your life.

1 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV) says, 'But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they (the things of God) are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.'

Then, 1 Corinthians 2:15 (NKJV) says, 'But he who is spiritual (i.e. the spiritual man) judges all things...'

See the contrast between the natural man and the spiritual man here.

The natural man here is translated 'Psuchikos' in Greek, from the word 'psuche', which means 'soul'. The natural man here is a person who operates only from his soul. This is a person whose spirit is uninfluenced by the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God; and therefore cannot receive revelation from the Holy Spirit. That's what the natural man is, according to the writings of Paul here.

How about the spiritual man? The spiritual man here is translated 'Pneumatikos' in Greek, from the word 'pneuma', which means 'spirit'. The spiritual man is a person whose spirit is directed or led by the Holy Spirit. He operates with his spirit, not just with his soul.

As a matter of fact, the spirit of a man is a supernatural faculty, and is created to receive revelation from the Holy Spirit.

The statement 'spiritually discerned' in 1 Corinthians 2:14 means 'spiritual things are to be spiritually discerned', i.e. 'discerned by the spirit of man'. For example, only Joshua and Caleb could "see", while the other spies could not "see" (Numbers 14:9). Both Joshua and Caleb saw with their "spiritual eyes", not with their "natural eyes".

So you see, the Scripture tells us that our spirit is created for communication with God, not just to worship God, and to fellowship with God.

How do you receive from the Spirit of God?

1 Corinthians 6:17 (NKJV) says, 'But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him'.

In other words, as a believer, you are in union with God, and He lives in you. His Spirit lives in you, and His Spirit reveals deeper things inside of you. You can understand His revelations and His secrets when your spirit is joined with Him (i.e. having a personal relationship with Him).

There are two ways God can speak to you:

1. Extraordinary way. This can be an audible voice of God, i.e. 'voice that is audible to your natural ears'. For example, Saul heard the audible voice of God with his natural ears on the way to Damascus. This is not the usual way, but this is becoming more and more common in this end-time.

2. God speaks to your spirit. It means the Holy Spirit communicates with your spirit within you, instead of an audible voice to your natural ear.

And this is what we are going to focus right now, i.e. God speaking in your spirit, to your spirit, within your spirit.

"How does God speak inside of me?"

1. You can receive directly in your spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:12 (NKJV) says, 'Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.'

You see, that's where we get this expression: "I know that I know that I know"; that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

The word 'know' here is 'eido' in Greek, meaning 'to be aware, to behold, to be sure, to understand, to see'. It means to see what God wants us to see, and to see what God sees.

2. God speaks inside of you with the Word of God.

John 14:26 (NKJV) says, 'But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.'

The statement 'bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you' here means 'the Holy Spirit is teaching us and bringing to our remembrance the Word of God, and what we have learned from the Word of God'. In short, He is speaking to you through the Scripture. That's why reading the Bible is so important. Never let your eyes depart from the Word of God.

Very interestingly, just one verse later in John 14:27, Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

This is God's assurance for you, because He speaks, and He still speaks and guides you. Because of that, you have this peace that you are not left forsaken. So, let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

"In what ways does God speak to my spirit?"

1. With signals or indicators.

For example, inner witness, i.e. 'peace or no peace' in your heart. This is the simplest form of communication, but it's very reliable. Do you have peace to go ahead, or do you have no peace to go ahead? Listen to the Holy Spirit inside of you. Yes or no? Peace or no peace? Go ahead or not go ahead?

Another example is through stirrings in your spirit. It means promptings from the Holy Spirit within your spirit. The Holy Spirit can stir your spirit to go ahead on something or prompt your spirit to go ahead on something.

2. With intelligible contents.

For example, voice of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can direct you, command you, or instruct you through His voice inside of you. This is not a product of your mind. This is not a mind play. But this comes from God. Therefore, it carries the character of God.

Another example is through word of wisdom. The Holy Spirit can reveal to you a specific instruction for a specific situation, or specific direction to handle a specific situation.

Another example is through word of knowledge. The Holy Spirit can reveal to you about a specific need, especially as you minister to people. For example, while you pray for somebody or minister to somebody, the Holy Spirit can drop words inside of you about that person's specific need, and you minister to that person accordingly.

And of course, another way is through dreams and visions. If it's from God, it's vivid, it's clear, and it's not confusing. When you wake up from the dream, you can remember it, as if you've just watched a drama. Write it down. Ask the Lord for the interpretation. The Lord will speak. The Lord will tell you. The same it is with vision. You can receive vision from God while you are praying or reading the Word of God.

3. By perceiving with your spirit, or discerning with your spirit.

To perceive with your spirit, or discern with your spirit, this may require some training with your spiritual senses. But this is possible.

One example is found in Acts 5:1-4 when Peter discerned with his spirit regarding a lie.
