Words from the Lord: "It's your launching time!"

While I was praying recently, I saw a vision of a spring. As God's people jumped onto the spring, they're being launched and catapulted onto a higher ground. I'm surprised to see the people being launched and catapulted so high, and with such power! It's as if the people just defied gravity! 

Then, I heard the Lord say these words, and this is for you, His beloved: 

"I am doing a work to 'jumpstart' what has become stale, stagnant, or dormant in your life. Surrender these areas of your life to Me at this point of your life. For the time has come for you to be launched and catapulted into a 'higher ground'! You will begin to see yourself moving on to a greater manifestation of My blessings in your life. You will begin to even walk through new doors that I have prepared for you. Look to Me, and seek Me. Commune with Me. For I am showing you the 'blueprints' that you need to launch into the new and into the breakthrough realm. Your time of launching is at hand!" 

If you look at the dictionary, 'to launch' means 'to start or set in motion' or 'to get going'. In the context of God's words for you today, 'to get going' with the power of God and the anointing of the Lord working in your life! 

What is 'jumpstart'? It can mean 'to start a car, a boat, or any vehicle (that hasn't been working)'. That's what 'jumpstart' means, literally. It can also mean 'to improve a situation (that has been powerless or weak)'. Another definition of 'to jumpstart' is 'to start something with the help of something else'. In this case, with the help of God's power and anointing being released upon you! 

Very interestingly, the Lord gave this word 'jumpstart' for this time. Indeed, He is in the midst of doing a work of 'jumpstarting' your life, your career, your God-given ministry, or in any area of your life. Now, 'car' is a 'picture' of your career, your ministry, your vocation, your enterprise, your business, etc. It speaks of 'a vehicle through which you express yourself on this earth, and to fulfill God's plans for your life on earth'. In today's prophetic message for you, God is saying that He will help you to 'jumpstart' your 'car'. Amen! 

Yeah, He is releasing from heaven His grace, His ability (which is greater than yours), His power, His anointing, His wisdom, His revelation, His supply, and whatever that you need to get 'jumpstarted' and be launched into greater things in this time and season. So, ask for such, and you shall receive.

One example of 'launching into greater things' and 'to jumpstart' can be found in Luke chapter 5, on how Jesus launched and 'jumpstarted' Peter into the realm of breakthrough and the beginning of greater things in his life. 

Luke 5:1-2 (NKJV) says, 'So it was, as the multitude pressed about Jesus to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret, and Jesus saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets.' 

Luke 5:3 (NKJV) says, 'Then Jesus got into one of the boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.' 

Here, Jesus chose Simon Peter's boat as a 'platform' to teach the Word of God. You know what? It's a blessing and a privilege for Simon Peter that Jesus chose his boat to use. The same it is for you. Will you allow Jesus to come onto your 'boat'? Blessed are you if you let Him do so. 

Luke 5:4-5 (NKJV) says, 'When Jesus had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch." But Simon answered and said to Jesus, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net."' 

You know what could have been playing in Simon Peter's mind at that time? He may be thinking, "What? Are you sure, Jesus? I've worked all night and I'm so tired, and now You're asking me to launch out again?" Simon Peter could have questioned Jesus further, "Are You sure You know what is fishing? The best time for fishing is night time. Not now. Not at this time!" Simon Peter could have been thinking further, "I've been a fisherman for so long, and You're not even a fisherman. You're a carpenter!" 

But Peter said, "Nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net." Notice that Peter called Jesus "Master" here. This shows his willingness to obey and take orders from Jesus, even though he didn't see the logic behind Jesus' instruction to launch out his net again.

In Luke 5:6-7, when Peter had let down the net, a miracle happened! He caught a great number of fish, so much so the net was breaking! In fact, Peter had to signal to the partners in the other boat to come and help out! In other words, that was a miraculous catch, at a time these fishermen never thought they could. And the Scripture says they were astonished at the huge catch! 

Beloved of God, it is the same with you. Never rule out what God can do in your life, going forward, no matter how much of a failure you think you've been. Maybe at this time you think you are no good in anything. Maybe at this time you feel like you are so stuck and stagnated. Or maybe you think you're just not meant to be successful in anything.

But take heart. Nothing is impossible with God. Just look at what the Lord has done for Peter here. The Lord your God will know how to guide you, lead you, and speak to you His specific instructions and 'blueprints' for your life, going forward.

So right now, beloved of God, let Jesus step onto your 'boat'. Just as Peter did. Peter didn't question Jesus, thinking that he knew about his profession as a fisherman better than Jesus. Peter's faith and trust in the Lord was then greatly rewarded!

What is the key to being launched and catapulted into the realm of miracles and greater breakthrough? Just one word: Obedience. A complete and total obedience to what the Lord says. When He says so, you say so. When He says no, you say no. When He says do, you do. When He says move, you move. When He says stay, you stay. 

That's why it's so important to commune with the Lord. Spend time in the Word of God. Spend time praying in the spirit. Let your heart be washed, purified, and cleansed. That's how your spiritual "antenna" will be cleared to receive more from the Lord. And you'll begin to hear His specific instructions and 'blueprints' for your life. And you'll be in for some wonderful surprises. That's for sure. Amen!

Boldness that is birthed forth from a deep communion with God

Acts 4:13 (NKJV): Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

The word 'boldness' here is 'par-rhesia' in Greek, and it means 'confidence, both in spirit and in demeanor (behavior/conduct)'. This kind of confidence mentioned here is supernatural, and it comes from God. It is birthed forth when one has a deep communion with Jesus (who is the Word of God).

The rulers, elders, scribes and priests of those days saw such boldness in Peter and John, and they marveled. After all, as far as they knew, Peter and John were mere fishermen, 'uneducated and untrained men' in every sense of the word, especially regarding the law and scriptures!

Yet they could not deny that Peter had just recently preached a powerful sermon (Acts 2:14-40), and many who heard him had gladly received his word and were baptized (Acts 2:41). Neither could they deny that a notable miracle had just happened through Peter and John, and this man born lame was instantly healed! (Acts 3:1-10)

Acts 4:14-17 (NKJV) says, 'And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. But when they had commanded them (Peter and John) to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, saying, "What shall we do to these men? For indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name (i.e. the name of Jesus)."'

So they called Peter and John out and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." (Acts 4:18-20)

You see, nothing could stop them from speaking (and keep speaking) the things which they have seen and heard. Not even an arrest, or a severe threat against them. Because they had a conviction that could not be shaken. This conviction came from the revelation of who Jesus is in their lives. Remember in Matthew 16:13-16, Jesus asked His disciples, "Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?" They answered, "Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

Jesus then responded, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 16:17-19)

The names Peter and John here are very prophetic of our times today. 'Peter' simply means 'a piece of rock', and 'John' can mean 'the grace of God' or 'the favor of God'. Also, John was that very person who leaned on Jesus' bosom, one who was very close to Jesus, and one whom Jesus loved (John 13:23). Indeed, you too are 'a piece of rock', founded in Him who is 'the solid rock', 'the mass of rock'.  And you too are 'the beloved of God', and the grace and favor of God is with you.

So now you can see why the rulers, elders, scribes and priests of those days marveled at Peter and John. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. They had a boldness that came from the revelation of who Jesus is, and what He had spoken for them to be (and to do)!

People of God, the same it is for you and I (the believers) today. This boldness is birthed forth from a time of deep communion with Jesus (who is the Word of God). That's why it is so important to have an exclusive time with the Word of God each day. And when the Lord has spoken specifically for you to do a certain thing, you will know, and He will also give you the boldness to do it. Mind you, it is not a 'blind boldness' or a 'dare-devil boldness'. It is not something you conjure up. But it is an ability and supply from on high. You know it isn't you (or of your own doing). It is supernatural. There will be a deep conviction ('you know that you know') and there will be faith arising in you.

Ephesians 3:11-12 (NKJV) says, '...according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness (same word 'par-rhesia' as in Acts 4:13) and access with confidence through faith in Him'.

I heard and then released these words to the congregation last Sunday:
"This is a time to receive the boldness to look ahead and to look forward! The boldness to walk in My will, no matter what! The boldness to be who I have called you to be, and the boldness to do what I have called you to do! This boldness is birthed forth from a deep communion with Me!"

I pray that you too shall receive the boldness from on high to look ahead and to look forward! The boldness to continue to walk in His will, no matter what, and no matter what people say against you! The boldness to be who God has called you to be, and to do what God has called you to do! His grace (ability, supply) is more than enough for you, and if God is for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31)

God has not given you a spirit of fear!

2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV): For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

The word 'fear' here is 'deilia' in Greek, from the word 'deilos', which means 'dread, timid ('bold-less'), faithless'. Obviously, Paul wasn't talking about the 'fear of God' (i.e. reverence, honor, respect, or a sense of awe towards God) here. But he was talking about the 'fear' that prevents one from walking in the will of God, keeps one 'small', and renders one useless in God's kingdom.

Recently, the Lord spoke these words during a time of worship and prayer:
"Whatever it is, fear not! For fear is not from Me. I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

The expression 'fear not' (or 'do not be afraid') has been mentioned all through the Bible about 180 times, and that's a whole lot! You see, the 'enemy' will always try to cause more 'fear', and even 'threats' against God's people, because he knows the more 'fear' we have, the more he will be able to keep us 'small' and useless!

"So, how exactly did 'fear' begin?"

There is a rule in Bible studies, and it is called 'The Law of First Mention'. This law can be defined as 'the first time a particular word is mentioned in the Bible, it is usually deemed to be significant in its meaning or even in its doctrine'. And the first time this word 'fear' (or 'afraid') being mentioned in the Bible is found in Genesis 3:10.

Let's now read Genesis 3:8-10: 'And they (Adam and Eve) heard the sound of the Lord walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?" So he said, "I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked (lost the glory of the Lord due to sin/disobedience); and I hid myself."'

Romans 3:23 says, 'for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God'. Sin leads to punishment and rejection.

Notice 'fear' was never in man's 'dictionary' until man disobeyed or sinned! There in the garden, Adam hid himself because he feared punishment and rejection due to the very sin he had committed not long before that!

You see? Fear of punishment and fear of rejection! These are the very roots of all fears in every man! And according to a recent survey in a psychology class, the types of fear in man have since swelled up to a whopping 7,000 by our time, and still counting! Fear of future, fear of death, fear of accident, fear of what people say, fear of contracting a terminal disease, fear of pain, and the list goes on.

When one man failed, another Man made it right! Jesus is the answer to all our fears today, and it was at the cross that Jesus turned things around for you and me, taking upon Himself the very roots of all our fears:
He was beaten (punished) so that you are now blessed; &
He was rejected so that you are now accepted!

People of God, know that today God is not here to punish you, but He is here to bless you, protect you, provide for you, and prosper you. And because of what Jesus had done for you at the cross, know also that God is not here to reject you, but He is here to love you and accept you. Let Him carry all your fears.

Settle it in your hearts that His thoughts for you are always thoughts of peace ('shalom', literally meaning 'nothing broken, nothing missing; all is well, all made whole') and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11), and He is always here for you, not against you! Indeed, He is a God who loves to give you every good thing (Romans 8:31-32). Amen!

He will also always want to lead you in the right path, and lead you out of any trouble. The Bible says 'He is a lamp unto your feet, and a light unto your path' (Psalm 119:105).

Mark 4:35-41 says, 'On the same day, when evening had come, Jesus said to them, "Let us cross over to the other side." Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?" Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?"'

Notice the words 'the other side' here? This speaks of 'your God-given destiny in life'. And notice the words 'they took Him along'? It is the same with us today. If you 'take Him along', you too will reach all your God-given destinies as well!

The good work God has begun in you, He will also bring it to full completion (Philippians 1:6). Whatever He has spoken to you (even in dreams, visions, or prophecies), believe that you too will see the fulfilment of it, even if it seems impossible right now. By His grace (ability and supply), you'll reach there! And whatever 'windstorm' you may be facing at the moment, or the 'waves' that beat into your 'boat', fear not, because if you have Him in your 'boat', you are in the safest place in this whole wide world. Amen!
