Like a tree planted by the waters

The Lord says:
"In a time like this, stay rooted in Me and keep drinking from Me. Like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, you will not fear even when 'heat' comes, and you will not be anxious even when 'drought' comes. In a time like this, your leaf shall be green, and you will not cease yielding fruit!"

People of God, even though many in the world may look at the future with doom and gloom, there is certainly hope for you who are the believers! As long as you stay rooted in Him and keep drinking from Him, you need not fear or be anxious, whatever happens in the world around you!

In John 7:37-39, Jesus said, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." The 'rivers' here speaks of the Holy Spirit, and as you receive from the Holy Spirit, you can tap into His wisdom and His revelation that leads to life, healing and prosperity in all that you do!

Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV) says, 'Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit'.

You know what that means? Even in a time of 'economic heat' or 'economic drought' (i.e. recession, job cuts, shutdowns, etc) happening around you, you will not fear or be anxious, because your trust and hope is in the Lord!

You may be asking, "How to drink from the Holy Spirit?"
It is as simple as coming to Him with an open heart and receiving from Him! Pray in the spirit and sing in the spirit. Flow with Him and do not resist Him. Hear Him and lean not on your own understanding. As you receive, take heed of His instructions and act on what He says! The Holy Spirit may even bring to your remembrance certain Scripture verses that you've read before, and as you follow His prompting and leading, you'll begin to see the solution to that particular situation in your life!

Therefore, do not fear or be anxious, whatever the 'sticky' or 'tricky' situation you may be facing at the moment. Your answer is on the way! Your part is to keep spreading out your 'roots' to His living water, and keep hanging on to His promises (in the Word) for you! Because there'll never be a situation where He has no answer

In this time of change, the Lord is releasing these words to you who are reading this:
"This is a time of greater opportunity coming your way! This is a time of grand opportunity coming your way! Bigger things are going to happen to you! Unprecedented things are going to happen to you - in a good way, not in a bad way! Your best is yet to come!"

Receive by faith!

In Jesus' name. Amen!

Walking in heavenly economy

The Lord says,
"It is time to teach My people to walk in heavenly economyFor I am decreeing that My people will never lack any good thing, even in times like these! My people, do not be enslaved by what the world has taught you! You are in the world, but you are not of the world! This is your time to be set free from your bondages, whatever these may be, even the bondages of the Babylonian system!"

- What if I say God can give you supernatural wisdom to walk in heavenly economy on earth?
- What if I say God can supernaturally open doors for you, such that no one can shut?

Sounds 'out-of-the-world', right? But this is possible. After all, the Word of God is supernatural! And we as believers in the Word of God should be likewise! Because we may be in the world, but we are not of the world! (John 17:14-15)

All these can begin to happen when you have a renewed mind (i.e. change of mindset) to see how God sees, not how man sees!

In Matthew 6:9-11 (NKJV), Jesus taught us, "In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread..." In Romans 12:2 (NKJV), apostle Paul wrote, 'And do not be conformed to (the pattern of) this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God'.

Now, the word 'will' here (same Greek word for the verses above) is 'thelema' in Greek, and it can mean 'purpose, desire, mandate, determine, decree (i.e. order or command)'. Watch the word 'decree' here! You see? It isn't just His desire be done 'on earth as it is in heaven', but His decree, order, command be done! Wow, these are very strong words! That's to say He is determined to make it happen! Make what happen? His kingdom come on earth! And mind you, His kingdom is supernatural!

But you've got to allow Him to renew your mind! That's what Romans 12:2 says! In other words, your mindset cannot be bound by what the world (this fallen world) tells you!

This is your time to receive the anointing to be set free from such! Free from the Babylonian system that has permeated this world!

What does 'Babylonian system' mean here? It simply means 'the ways/systems of this fallen world'. The word 'Babylon', by the way, comes from the word 'Babel', meaning 'confusion, mixed up'. Remember the story of Tower of Babel? (Genesis 11:1-9) And remember how these people tried to make a name for themselves, but the Lord scattered them? You see, the way of this fallen world has always been driven by pride, greed, and lust. And these ways of men may look like a good idea to them, but never God's idea!

One example of someone who walked in heavenly providence and heavenly economy was none other than Elijah (1 Kings 17:1-16). In a time of drought, the word of the Lord came to him to get away from where he was, and hide by the Brook Cherith. There, the Lord supernaturally commanded the ravens to feed him, morning and evening! (1 Kings 17:2-6)

And then, the word of the Lord came to him again, because it was time to move to Zarephath. There, the Lord prepared a widow to provide for him! (1 Kings 17:8-16) Out of all people, a widow? The worldly ways would see this as absurd and illogical! Why not go to a rich man, or a businessman instead? But a widow? Not only that, Elijah came at a time when the widow was about to prepare her last meal!

But Elijah did according to all that the Lord had spoken! And miracles happened again! And here in Zarephath, he (and the widow and her son) had a never-ending supply of flour and oil till the Lord sent rain on earth again!

So, what was the key to Elijah seeing such supernatural providence and heavenly economy, even in a time of drought? Obedience to whatever the Lord says! Even if what the Lord had spoken didn't make sense to the worldly mind!

People of God, will you allow the Lord to renew you and set you free from the worldly ways of men? If yes, I declare in Jesus' name, that you too are on the way to experience a greater manifestation of His supernatural wisdom and providence, even in ways you cannot imagine yet. Amen!

Your promotion time is coming!

The Lord says,
"Promotion doesn't come from east, west, or south. Promotion comes from Me. And when I open the door for your promotion, no man can shut! Stay faithful therefore in what I have called you to be and to do. Keep running this race of faith! Do not give up! For I am looking at My people's faithfulness and stewardship. And I am looking at My people's heart."

Indeed, promotion comes from the Lord, and when He opens the door for your promotion, no man can shut! And He can promote you even in ways you cannot imagine! Not just in one way, but in many ways! He can promote you and open doors for you even in the most unexpected ways! Be it in ministry, in business, in career, or in any other area of your life! Just don't limit Him, and don't try to figure out how He's going to do it!

Some people may be saying, "But what do you mean? What I see around me are just demotions, paycuts, and job losses! And you say promotion is coming?"

People of God, the Lord doesn't see the way man sees. Don't look at what's happening around you in the natural realm. Because the Lord has spoken loud and clear that in the spiritual realm, there's promotion happening for God's people, for those who stay faithful to what the Lord has spoken for them to be (and to do), and for those who never give up!

You see, promotion doesn't just come in jobs. Promotion can come in the form of increase in anointing, increase in favor, increase in wisdom, and increase in authority in the spiritual realm! Your part at the moment is to keep building what the Lord is building in your life, and He will know how to bring you from there!

Psalm 75:5-7 (KJV) says, 'Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another'.

The word 'promotion' here is 'ruwm' in Hebrew, and it can mean 'to bring up, to rise up, to raise up, to set you up (for good things)'. See? To set you up (for good things)! That is one definition of 'ruwm'!

People of God, be encouraged therefore, that the Lord is in the midst of setting you up for good things! Never mind if you've been overlooked or unnoticed at the moment. Never mind if people look down on you or brush you off at the moment. Never mind if you've been 'submerged' or 'played out' by others at the moment. Because the good news for you (who are reading this) today is the Lord hasn't forgotten you, and the good work that He has begun in your life, He will also bring to full completion! (Philippians 1:6)

Keep running this race of faith that He has started in your life! Never look to man (who may disappoint you), but look to the Lord who knows exactly how to open ways for you - supernaturally! And that time is coming, if you do not lose heart! And if you continue to cling on to what the Lord has spoken in your life, no matter what happens in the natural realm around you! Hallelujah!
