Words from the Lord: The cleansing time has begun!

The Lord says: 

"Blessed are those who are washed from the inside out. Blessed are those who have the beauty from the inside out. What's in the inside will in turn be reflected on the outside, and the world shall see. This time and season is a time of cleansing for My church. I am preparing My church pure, holy, and unblemished; just as being written in My Word. I have begun My restoration works for My church." 

It looks like we are still in this series of God speaking to His church in this time and season. I believe when the Lord mentioned about His church here, He meant His church as a whole, i.e. His body, the Body of Christ. In other words, He is talking to His people as a whole, wherever they are on earth. 

Indeed, wherever we are on earth, we are members of His body, and He is the Head of the body, the Body of Christ. 

Now, don't get me wrong here. From the very beginning of the church age some 2,000 years ago, the Lord has always been working. It means cleansing has always been ongoing all these years and centuries. Not only now. However, the Lord has spoken this is an extremely crucial time of cleansing for His people, both as individuals and for His church as a whole. He's talking about inner cleansing here. He's talking about deep cleansing from the inside out. 

Why is this so crucial at this time? Here's the answer: In order to prepare His people, His church, for what is to come! He's doing a cleansing from the inside out, because without this, we will not be able to withstand the onslaught of the powers of this world and the powers of devil in this end-time! 

But of course, fear not! This is not a doom and gloom message. But we are saying in spite of whatever doom and gloom that's happening in this world, and in spite of the challenging time that's coming to the world (ecologically, politically, geopolitically), yet at the same time, His glory (the glory of the Lord) is also going to shine the brightest like you've never seen before! 

And remember, even in the most challenging of times, the Lord is still the same - yesterday, today, and forever to you! He is your very present help, and He is your refuge. Amen! 

In Isaiah 60:1-2, the Scripture says, 'Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.'

Yes, upon you! Upon His people! Upon His church! Now, 'church' is 'a people'. For your info, the word 'church' was mentioned about 115 times in King James Version. And interestingly, all these 115 times point towards 'church' being 'a people'; not a building, not an area, not a land, not an institution, not an organization. For the record, in Greek, the word 'church' is 'ekklesia'. The word 'ek' means 'of, from'; and the word 'klesia' comes from the word 'kaleo', which means 'a call'. So, 'ekklesia', or 'church', simply means 'a gathering of the called ones', or 'a gathering of God's people'. 

Indeed, 1 Peter 2:9-10 says as believers (i.e. as 'a people of God'), we have been called out from the darkness into God's marvelous light. That's you and I! We are the church! A people of God! And Jesus Christ is the Head of all of us, the people of God, His body, the Body of Christ! 

Interestingly, in cross-reference, the word 'called' here in 1 Peter chapter 2 is also the same word 'kaleo'.

In Isaiah 60:5, the Scripture says, 'Then you shall see and become radiant, and your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.'

Now, it's for all these reasons mentioned in Isaiah chapter 60 that the Lord is currently doing His deep cleansing for His people, His church! What is He preparing for? He is preparing for the coming of His glory! When His glory and His light shines, no work of the enemy and no work of the evil one in this world can withstand it! 

But you know what? Before the glory of the Lord comes such as we've never seen before, He is preparing us first, His people, His church! This is not a message to judge anyone. Rather, this is a message for self-reflection, whether we are leaders, or in whatever way the Lord is using us right now, both in the ministry or in the marketplace. When I share this message, I'm speaking to myself too. So, let us all humble ourselves under His mighty hand, and let us be changed by Him from the inside out. 

Let's look at what the Scripture say about 'cleansing'. In Ephesians 5:26-27, in the words of Apostle Paul, '...that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.' 

'He' here speaks of 'Jesus Christ'; and 'Her' here speaks of 'the church as a whole; and we are the members of His body, the Body of Christ'. The context here is like the relationship between a husband and a wife; how the husband loves the wife, and how the husband gives himself for her. By the same token, how Jesus loves the church and gives Himself for the church. 

So, with this understanding, let's read again: '...that Jesus might sanctify and cleanse the church with the washing of water by the word; that Jesus might present the church to Himself a glorious church (not a defeated church, not a weakened church; but a glorious church, full of His glory and light), not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.' 

This is exactly what the Lord is doing right now! He is in the midst of cleansing His people, His church! 

The word 'cleanse' here is 'katharizo' in Greek, from the word 'katharos' meaning 'to cleanse (whether to cleanse spiritually, or literally - inward and outward)'. It means 'to cleanse (inside of us, and outside of us)'. It can also mean 'to make clean, to purify, to purge, to be unstained'. 

Let's look now at Ephesians 5:25, just one verse before that, 'Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her...' 

If you look at the context of the relationship between a husband and wife here, just like Christ and the church, 1 Peter 3:3-4 also says this regarding the wife (therefore, this can also apply for the church too), 'Do not let your adornment be merely outward - arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel - rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.' 

In other words, not just outward, but the inward is so crucially important. True beauty is beauty from the inside out; whether it is literally about wives, or about His church. The Lord doesn't want us to put up an outward show only. But He wants to see in the inside of us. He wants us to be changed from the inside out. 

Let's look at what Jesus said now. Even though He was speaking about the Pharisees and the scribes those days, this can also apply to us as believers and leaders. Let's look at Matthew 23:25-26, '...For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence... first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.' 

This may cut to the hearts. But this is necessary. This is part of His cleansing work for His church, and the leaders He has raised up for this end-time. Notice the word 'cleanse' here. It is the same word 'katharizo' in Greek, from the word 'katharos' that I've explained earlier. I'm showing you this as a cross-reference about the cleansing of the church; beginning from the leaders and how we do things, and flowing down to every believer in the Body of Christ. 

Well, of course, some may say this applies only to the Pharisees and the scribes, and this has nothing to do with the current church leaders and current believers in the Body of Christ. But the background of Matthew 23 on why Jesus said what He said, and the gist of His message here is that He wants to address the inside of us. In other words, He's saying that true beauty (true righteousness) starts from the inside. He's saying the religious leaders those days, namely the Pharisees and the scribes, were greatly concerned and focused on their outward show, and how they carry themselves outward; but they were full of sins, corruption, greed, self-seeking, self-glorifying, and even self-indulgences in the inside of them. 

This message may be uncomfortable for some people to hear, but this is what the Lord has spoken for this time and season.

God can never be fooled by what we show on the outside, i.e. on how holy and righteous we show on the outside. Rather, God sees what we actually are in the inside, and not what we appear to be to other people on the outside. This is the gist of Matthew 23. This is what Jesus meant to say. 

The Lord is looking at our hearts, i.e. our real self in the inside of us. And He's saying, "Blessed are those who are clean in the inside, who are washed from the inside, who have the beauty in the inside." This is true beauty. This is how the Lord sees beauty, i.e. the beauty that begins from the inside of us. 

This is what the Lord is looking for in His people (for His end-time move). And no power of darkness, no power of this world, and no power of the devil can withstand the holiness, purity, and innocence in the inside of each of us. This is the key to victory! This is the key to triumph! This is the key to the glory of the Lord coming and shining in this world through us! 

So you see, this is a time for self-reflection. This is a time to come before the Lord just as we are, and let Him cleanse us with the water of His Word and His Spirit. This is a time to ask Him to show us what are the areas in our lives that we need to change. Of course, this involves humility on our part. Yes, I'm also saying this to myself. This message is for me too. So, let us humble ourselves before Him; and let us be changed and be transformed from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. 

Prayer: 

"O Lord God, in a time like this, we come before You just as we are. Cleanse us with the water of Your Word and Your Spirit. Show us the areas that we need to be changed (whatever and wherever You have positioned us in this world). We humble ourselves before You. We want to be changed from the inside out. We look to You. We want to be found innocent, pure, holy, and unblemished before You - both in the inside and on the outside. We thank You for the forgiveness of sins through the blood that You've shed for us on the cross. We thank You for Your restoration and renewal works in our lives, and yes, in our church. Amen."

Receive the cleansing power!

What is the major difference between the blood of the New Covenant and the blood of the Old Covenant? 

In the Old Covenant, the blood shed by animal sacrifice was only temporary and needed to be offered over and over again, year after year, for the sins of the people. 

All these animal sacrifices in the Old Covenant pointed towards the ultimate sacrifice, i.e. Jesus the Lamb of God, whose blood was shed to take away our sins once for all. 

Let's look at the sacrifice in the Old Covenant first. 

Exodus 30:10 (NKJV) says, 'And Aaron shall make atonement upon its horns once a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonement; once a year he shall make atonement upon it throughout your generations.' 

Here, you see that Aaron, the high priest at that time, was to make the altar ready for the service to God. How? By putting the blood of the animal sacrifice on the corners (or the horns) of the altar as an atonement. 

Leviticus 17:11 (NKJV) says, 'For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.' 

You would have noticed this word 'atonement' in the above verses. The word 'atonement' here is the Hebrew word 'kaphar', meaning 'to cover'. It means the blood sacrifice of animals under the Old Covenant was made to cover the sins of the people.

So, 'to atone for sins' means 'to cover the sins'. For example, if you spill your coffee on the carpet, there's blemish there. If a person takes cloth to cover it, the stain of the coffee is still there, if you look underneath the carpet. Now, that is the same principle about atonement. It covers the sin. But it does not take away the sin once for all. It is only to cover the sin. And year after year, again and again, the high priest would have to sacrifice animals again and again. That's in the Old Covenant. 

Now, everything you see in the Old Covenant is a 'typology' of what is in the New Covenant. All these point towards Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 

Now that you have understood about the blood shed through the sacrifice of animals in the Old Covenant, let's go to the Scripture about the blood of Jesus Christ in the New Covenant. 

Hebrews 10:1-4 (NKJV) says, 'For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect... But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.'

Here, the writer of the book of Hebrews was referring about the Old Covenant. The sacrifices were offered continually year by year. 

Let's contrast the above verses with Revelation 1:5 (NKJV) that says, 'And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood.'

You see, Jesus' blood did what the blood of animals could not! Jesus' blood not only covers for our sins, Jesus' blood washes our sins once for all! He is the perfect sacrifice. In Him is no sin and no blemish at all. Animals are not perfect. But Jesus the Lamb of God is perfect in all His ways. That is the difference. 

Let's go to the details on this word 'wash' here. The Greek word for 'wash' here is 'louw', and it means 'to wash, to cleanse, to bathe (the whole person)'. There's another Greek word for 'wash', that is, 'niptw', and it means 'to wash the hands, the feet, or the face only; or to wash ceremonially'. In other words, to wash some parts only, and not the whole part. 

Back to Revelation 1:5. Here, the word 'wash' is 'louw', not the word 'niptw'. It means 'to thoroughly wash and bathe the whole person', or 'to totally (not partly) wash and bathe the entire person'. It speaks of complete washing from head to toe; inside and outside; all of us - spirit, soul, body! 

You see the difference between 'louw' and 'niptw'? 

So, the conclusion is the blood of Jesus Christ shed for you on the cross washes you completely, not partly. The blood of Jesus Christ doesn't just cover your sins, nor just partly washes your sins, but completely covers and washes your sins!

Let's go to John 1:29 (NKJV) now. Let Scripture interpret Scripture. This verse says, 'The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and he (John) said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!"' 

Here, John the Baptist said, 'takes away the sin of the world'. That's what John the Baptist declared to everyone about Jesus, who Jesus is, and why Jesus came to this earth for. Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Notice the singular word 'sin' there. It encompasses all forms of sins of this world. Therefore, if you have Jesus in your life, you can be rest assured that whatever your wrongs or sins may be, you can come before the Lord and acknowledge it before the Lord. The Lord is here for you. The Lord loves you, and the Lord is here to forgive you. The Lord is here to cleanse you from all those wrongs or sins. You are made new again! 

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) says, 'Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.' 

This is for anyone who is in Christ. So beloved of God, this is the time to come before the Lord. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you. Return to Him, and He will return to you. Come before Him just as you are, and let Him wash and cleanse you completely.

You see, under the Old Covenant, people's conscience still bothered them, especially when they wanted to draw near to the Lord and worship the Lord. Even after offering the animal sacrifices, they still felt very aware of their sins and their inadequacies before the Holy God! 

In other words, the Old Covenant sacrifices could not cleanse the conscience, and therefore the person may still be feeling guilty about the sins he has committed. 

Now, you may be saying, "Where is the proof in the Bible?" 

Let's look at Hebrews 9:9 (NKJV), and then Hebrews 9:11 (NKJV). 

Hebrews 9:9 (NKJV) says, 'It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience...' 

But now look here in Hebrews 9:11 (NKJV), 'But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.' 

Hebrews 9:9 tells us that the Old Testament sacrifices could not perfect the conscience. And then in Hebrews 9:11, 'But Christ came...' See the words 'But Christ came'? It means there is a contrast here. It means what the sacrifices in the Old Testament could not do, Jesus' sacrifice could! 

Let's continue further with Hebrews 9:12-15 (NKJV), 'Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood, He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.' 

You just need to look at the three underlined parts: 'with His own blood, once for all, cleanse your conscience'. That summarizes all!

So, as a beloved of God today, because of this blood of Jesus Christ that washes and cleanses you, you can now live a life clear of any form of guilt, and you can live a life clear in your conscience. Amen!

Prophetic words: A time to clear the clutter!

The Lord says: 

"Prepare, prepare, prepare! Sanctify, sanctify, sanctify! Clear the clutter! Clear what needs to clear! Put your house in order! Because I am about to do great things and great exploits in your life and through your life! No matter how the world changes, My Word is still the same. Look to Me, and keep soaking in My Word and in My Spirit. And I will show you greater things ahead of you." 

Indeed the world has been changing very fast. Everything is accelerating. But one thing that never changes is the Word of God! The Word of God is still the Word of God! In Matthew 24:35, Jesus Himself said: "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away." 

The Lord is also saying to you, beloved, that no matter what past you may have, or no matter how broken your past may be, He still remembers you and He still has a purpose for you. He still wants to do something great in your life and through your life!

Joshua 1:1-3 (NKJV) says, 'After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' assistant, saying: "Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them - the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses."' 

In this time and season, this applies to you too. Let your past be past. Let the bygone be bygone. The Lord is in the midst of healing you. The Lord is in the midst of restoring you. The Lord is in the midst of renewing you. Yes indeed, your "Moses" is dead, and this is your Joshua's time! This is the time to receive fresh anointing from the Lord! This is the time to receive new strength from the Lord! 

We go all the way to Joshua 3 now. Joshua 3:5-6 (NKJV) says, 'And Joshua said to the people, "Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you." Then Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, "Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over before the people." So they took up the ark of the covenant and went before the people.' 

The word 'sanctify' here is 'kawdash' in Hebrew. It can mean 'to make clean, to consecrate, to prepare, to purify, to dedicate, to be separate, to be set apart.' In the context of our study today, the Lord wants us to be separated or set apart from the unwholesome things that are happening in this world. You may be in the world, but you are not of the world. You are of God. You are born of God. That's what the Scripture says about you. You are born again the moment you have received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord. So, let the Holy Spirit fill you right now. Let the Holy Spirit wash you clean, cleanse you, and purify you right now. Let the Holy Spirit teach you how to be set apart from whatever that is unwholesome in this world. 

I would like to bring you to another version for Joshua 3:5-6. This time, I read from New American Standard Bible (NASB). 'Then Joshua said to the people, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do miracles among you." And Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, "Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over ahead of the people." So they took up the ark of the covenant and went ahead of the people.' 

Now, 'the ark of the covenant' here symbolizes 'the glory of the Lord.' Jesus is your glory! Jesus is the glory of the Lord who goes ahead of you. You part is to follow Him. Wherever the glory cloud goes, you follow. And you are going to see with your own eyes (both spiritual eyes and physical eyes) miracles, signs and wonders happening in your life and through your life. You are entering this time and season of your life! Believe for it! 

How did the translators of New Living Translation (NLT) translate Joshua 3:5-6? Let's read here. 'Then Joshua told the people, "Purify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do great wonders among you." In the morning Joshua said to the priests, "Lift up the Ark of the Covenant and lead the people across the river." And so they started out and went ahead of the people.' 

Indeed beloved, this is a new dawn for you! See the words 'In the morning' here. Yes, weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning. It's a new day for you. The sun has begun to shine brighter and brighter upon you. Receive this by faith, even as you look to the Lord and keep trusting in the Lord your God. Amen! 

Let's look at one more version, and let's go to The Amplified Bible now. 'Then Joshua said to the people, "Sanctify yourselves [for His purpose], for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders (miracles) among you." Joshua said to the priests, "Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over [the river] ahead of the people." So they took up the ark of the covenant and went on ahead of the people.' 

Notice the words 'sanctify yourselves [for His purpose]' here? So, if you think you are purposeless and hopeless, the Lord is releasing a new purpose and a new hope to you right now! Your part is to embrace all that He wants to give to you. Amen!  

I want to pray for you right now. Let there be open heaven right now. Let there be a release of fresh anointing upon you right now. Let there be a release of new strength upon you right now. Let the glory of the Lord be upon you. And wherever you go, darkness has to flee. Because when the glory and the light comes, darkness has to flee. I also want to pray for you that wherever you go, there will be shalom peace, and the favor of the Lord is with you, just as what Joshua had experienced those days, in that time and season!

It's not too late yet for you to prepare yourself. Clear the clutter of your life. Clear whatever that needs to clear in your life. Clear whatever unwholesome things in your life. Let the blood of Jesus Christ wash you and cleanse you white as snow. And that's how you are being readied and prepared for the greater things that are coming your way!

Joshua 3:8 (NKJV) says, 'You shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, "When you have come to the edge of the water of the Jordan, you shall stand in the Jordan."' 

Yes, many of God's people are at the crossroads in their lives right now. They are about to cross a certain threshold in their lives. And if that person is you, this is what you can do now: Continue to stand strong in the Word of God. Do not be swayed by the enemy or by all kinds of temptations of this world. But you stand! 

The word 'stand' here is 'aw-mad' in Hebrew. It can mean 'to continue, to abide, to remain, to be firm.' Yes, to be firm in all that the Lord has spoken to you in this new season of your life! And yes, to stand strong and to continue to abide in Him and in His Word! 

There will be some of you who are going to see your promotion in spite of the odds. There will be some of you who are going to see new open doors, when many others in the world are having 'closed doors'. There will be some of you who are going to see some pleasant surprises. And there will be some of you who are going to see restoration in certain relationships that have been broken, especially family relationships. Just keep looking to the Lord, and keep standing strong in His Word. Keep eating from the Word of God and drinking from the Spirit of God. Word and Spirit. Spirit and Word. Amen!

Joshua 3:9-10 (NKJV) says, 'So Joshua said to the children of Israel, "Come here, and hear the words of the Lord your God." And Joshua said, "By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that He will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Hivites and the Perizzites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Jebusites."' 

In other words, the Lord your God is clearing the way for you! As you clear the clutter in your life, and as you clear what you need to clear in your life, the Lord will clear the way for you! The Lord will ward off every work of the enemy - north, south, east, west. The Lord will make the way clear for you. The Lord is going to even send His angels to prepare the way for you! 

As you take this step of faith, and as you heed what the Lord has spoken, Joshua 3:13 (NKJV) says: "And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap." 

You see? The way had been made clear for Joshua and the people to cross over. They saw their first miracle, sign and wonder in the new season of their lives. And that's how they crossed over! And you know what? The rest is history. They saw many victories and breakthroughs that moment onwards. I want to believe the same for you. Yes, you too are going to see many victories and breakthroughs in your life, going forward! The best is yet to come! Amen!

Words from the Lord: "Let the fire fall!"

The other day, I saw a vision of fire being released from the throne of God as I was ministering to someone who had problems with lots of pain in the body, and this fire even set that person free from idolatry, bondage, and residues from that person's ancestral worship. 

I then heard the Lord say: "Let the fire fall!"

Fire doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing. It doesn't necessarily mean it has to be like fire from hell, or hell fire. From the Scripture, I'm going to show you the fire that comes from the throne of God is meant for our own good. It isn't a bad thing. That's why it's so important not to resist or fight against this fire, because it is meant for our own good. It is the fire of holiness. It is the fire that purifies and purges us. It is the purifying fire of God!

In fact, the Word of God and the Spirit of God can also be symbolized by fire. Let me prove to you from the Scripture. 

In Jeremiah 23:29, the Lord says: "Does not My Word burn like fire? Is it not like a mighty hammer that smashes a rock to pieces?" 

The Word of God can be symbolized by fire. The Word of God burns, cleanses, washes, and purges all that is contrary to God's ways and God's standards. 

How about the Holy Spirit?

In Matthew 3:11, John the Baptist said: "I baptize with water those who repent of their sins and turn to God. But Someone is coming soon who is greater than I am - so much greater that I'm not worthy even to be His slave and carry His sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire." 

The Holy Spirit can be symbolized by fire too. This fire is the fire of holiness of the Lord that purifies, purges, and cleanses. And not just that. This fire also enables, empowers, and even enlivens us with a new zeal for the Lord! 

In Acts 2:1-4, this was what happened to the early disciples of Jesus: 'When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues as of fire. And one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit of God gave them utterance.' 

You see, there was an enabling, there was an empowering, there was this anointing, there was this fire! 

Indeed, the Lord wants you to receive this fire that comes from His throne today! And you shall be refreshed, renewed, and revived to walk in His calling and plan for your life, going forward!

The Word of God says in Isaiah 4:4-5: 'When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning (it means the Lord is judging all the works of darkness, and the Lord is burning all these away). Then the Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering.' 

This fire is like a 'firewall' over you. In other words, the glory of the Lord is like a 'firewall' over you. And this 'firewall', this glory of the Lord, is also your covering! That's what the Word of God says here! Therefore, no work of darkness (or word of darkness) can touch you! All these will have to leave, because this fire will be too 'hot' for the work of darkness (or word of darkness) to touch you! 

The Word of God also says in Exodus 19:18-20: 'Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long, and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice. Then the Lord came down upon Mount Sinai on the top of the mountain. And the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.'

This speaks of the greatness and the awesomeness of the Lord our God! Indeed, He is great and there's no other! 

You see, one of the ways the Lord can appear before us is with fire! 

But beloved of God, this fire will not burn you! Why? Because you are His righteous and His beloved! This fire will instead burn away every pain in your life (be it in your spirit, soul, or body), burn away every disease or infirmity in your life, and of course, burn away every form of impurity or un-holiness that hinders your life! Hallelujah!

And that's how you will come forth pure, holy, and unblemished before the Lord, ready for the even greater things that He wants to do in your life and through your life! Amen!
