Words from the Lord: "You are not regressing, but progressing!"

I had a dream the other night, and I want to share it with you. Because I believe it is pivotal at this juncture of your life, and as you cross the halfway mark of this year 2026.

In the dream, I was inside someone's house as a guest. It was a huge house. All of a sudden, I saw a group of violent men armed with dangerous weapons and guns outside the house. They were trying to force through the gate to enter the house. They were trying to invade the house. The next thing I know, there was a fierce battle between those outside and those inside. It wasn't like an armed fight, but rather, gunshots everywhere.

At first, those inside the house seemed to be panicking because they were regressing in the battle and they were heading towards defeat. Those violent men outside seemed to be too powerful and strong. But you know what? Just then, something miraculous happened...

All of a sudden, those inside the house found themselves equipped with weapons they've never seen before. These were powerful weapons. I saw a new strength and boldness in those inside the house. The battle began to turn around. The next thing I know, those inside the house were advancing and progressing. The momentum has shifted to their favor. Eventually, the violent men outside had no choice but to flee. It was a resounding victory for those in the house!

I woke up from the dream. It was so real. Many details in the dream were still vivid as I woke up. So, I asked the Lord what this dream meant. The Lord said this is an assurance and help for those who look to Him at this juncture of their lives. This is an assurance that He knows how to turn each of your 'battles' around, whatever that 'battle' may be in your life.

As you look forward to the second half of this year 2026, the Lord is saying to you: "Contrary to what the enemy wants to make you think, you are not regressing, but you are progressing!"

Yes, I want to make this declaration by faith upon your life: "You are not regressing, but you are progressing!"

'Regressing' can be defined as 'returning to the previous/past' or 'returning to a worse condition/state'. This word 'regress' is derived from the Latin word 'regressus', meaning 'to go back'. It speaks of 'moving backward, instead of forward'. It speaks of 'taking a step backwards or into negativity, instead of taking a step forward with hope'. In the context of what God is saying today, 'looking to God for what's ahead'.

'Progressing' can be defined as 'moving forward, advancing, developing, and improving'. It speaks of you keep moving and moving on. It speaks of you advancing in your life. So, whatever 'battle' you may be facing today, the Lord is right now giving you the strength and anointing to progress.

Your part, beloved, is to keep looking to the Lord and keep focusing on the Lord, trusting that He will know how to clear the way for you.

Proverbs 4:18 says, 'The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.'

As a beloved of God in Christ Jesus, you have been made righteous. So, your path is shining brighter and brighter. That's what this Bible verse says here. While the path of those who walk away from the Lord is full of hopelessness, full of gloom, or even regressing, your path is progressing. Your path is shining ever brighter. More and more. Not less and less.

In fact, as the light of God is shining brighter and brighter in your life, many things in your life will become clearer and clearer, going forward. There will be clarity. Clarity in God's vision for you. Clarity in God's purpose for you. Clarity in God's mission for you on this earth.

The Lord wants to tell you further:

"With this light shining upon you, like the sun shining brighter and brighter, I will cause you to see clearer and clearer what's ahead of you. I will give you a new vision and purpose. I will expand your horizons. I will renew your strength, and you will begin to soar with wings like that of the eagles."

The Lord is also saying to you:

"You will have a fresh outlook. You will have fresh new ideas that I am giving you, going forward. You will see new openings and even new open doors that you've not thought possible. I am going to open new horizons for you. But you've got to look ahead, and let go of those past. Those pains. Those defeats. Those disappointments. Those frustrations. Look away from those. But look to Me. For I am saying to you, better things are going to come your way in the months ahead!"

In Isaiah 43:18-19, the Lord says, "But forget all that (i.e. what's in the past) - it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland."

Psalm 33:18 says, 'The eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love.'

Now, 'the eyes of the Lord' here speaks of Him continuously watching over you and making sure that you are in His good hands.

So beloved of God, you have nothing to fear. No fear of what's ahead of you! Just like the 'battle' in the dream I had, you too will see yourself progressing and walking in greater victories the rest of this year. Amen!

Words from the Lord: "Time to clean up!"

I have a dream from the Lord the other day. In the dream, I saw many believers of God and ministers of God, including myself, being brought into a huge mansion. The mansion has many rooms. The mansion is huge and with a huge compound surrounding it. Each individual is assigned into each of the rooms. These are all Christians, both believers and ministers alike. I saw myself being assigned with one room too. However, each of these rooms in the mansion were full of dirt and dust, and needed some cleanup before it could be inhabited. It seems like everyone with no exception has to do some cleanup for the respective room given to each of them.

When I woke up from the dream, I initially thought it's the mansion in heaven that God talks about in the Scripture. But then I realized it's not. I mean, how can the mansion in heaven be full of dirt and needs cleanup? So, this is not talking about heaven. This is talking about what's happening here on earth.

The dream was so real. As I woke up from the dream, I prayed and I asked the Lord, "What do all these mean?"

That's when I heard the Lord saying, "Tell My people: It's time for a cleanup!"

The Lord said further: "Spiritually and physically! Individually and corporately! The church and the ministry on earth needs a cleanup! In every level and in every area! Not just as a body, as a church, or any form of ministry, but on a personal level!"

Here's the interpretation to the dream, and I know there's an urgency to it. The huge mansion here is the house of the Lord on earth as a whole. It means there's no exception. The many rooms and compartments are the different expressions and branches of Christianity on earth. But right now, there seems to be a lot of dirt, dust, and uncleanness all over. God is speaking metaphorically. And God says it's time for a cleanup before it can be inhabited. It's time to clean up whatever that has contaminated the rooms and the house as a whole.

Definitions of 'cleanup':

1. The removal of dirt, untidiness, or corruption from a place or a situation.

2. The sanitizing, washing, and purifying of something.

3. The purging, reforming, rectifying, and straightening up of something.

Before the greater glory of the Lord comes, the Lord says, "Now is the time for a cleanup!"

As I prayed further, the Lord showed me Jeremiah 17Jeremiah 17 begins with the Lord God talking about the uncleanness among God's people. This includes idolatry in any form. It doesn't just mean a physical idol, per se. Idolatry may even be elevating man in the place of God. It may be hero worshiping. It may be pursuing man's fallen ways instead of God's ways. In other words, not putting the Lord God as the first and highest place, or in the rightful place, in how we do things. Of course, this is very subtle. In the outward or on stage, everything may look good. But the Lord is looking in the inside.

Jeremiah 17:5-6 (NKJV) says, 'Thus says the Lord: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land which is not inhabited."'

In the context of what God is saying today, these verses can apply both spiritually and physically, inward and outward, inside of us and outside of us.

Prophet Jeremiah pictured this 'shrub in the desert' as weak and dry that's about to die from drought. From the outside, this shrub may look good and fine. But in the inside, it's actually dead and futile. This is a 'picture' of those who trust in man (or man-made ways) instead of the Lord (and the Lord's ways). This 'shrub in the desert' is a 'picture' of what's dying, drying, and unsustainable.

So, this is a call to clean up! Let the Lord search our hearts and show us what to clean up. Let the Lord wash our hearts and wash our hands. Inside of us and outside of us. Or whatever that we put our hands to do. When I say this, I say this with the fear and the reverence of the Lord. I'm saying this to myself too. No one on earth is exempted, and no one on earth is an exception, no matter what position we hold on earth.

The Lord has spoken. He desires cleanliness and holiness. He desires a pure heart whom He will not turn away. He is indeed preparing for His coming glory!

This is not a message of condemnation. But this is a message of restoration and hope. This is a message of preparation for what's coming. The coming glory of the Lord!

Let's get back to Jeremiah chapter 17. Look at the contrast here in Jeremiah 17, if God's people begin to turn away from their uncleanness and man-made ways, and turn to God (and God's ways).

In Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV), the Lord says, "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit."

Here, prophet Jeremiah referred the man who trusts in the Lord to be like a tree planted by the waters, whose leaf is green, and will not cease yielding fruit. This is exactly what God wants you to walk in, in this season, and going forward.

In Jeremiah 17:14 (NKJV), prophet Jeremiah said, "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved. For You are my praise."

The word 'heal' here is 'rapha' in Hebrew. It can mean 'mend, cure, repair, make well, make whole'. The word 'save' here is 'yasha' in Hebrew. It can mean 'help, rescue, deliver, preserve, defend, set free'.

As you surrender your life to the Lord and submit to Him, you receive both 'rapha' and 'yasha'. Yes, in every sense of these words. This is the promise of God for those who look to Him and submit to Him.

From the Scripture here, God's heart is always about restoration, renewal, healing, and hope for His people. That's what Jeremiah 17 is pointing to us. So right now, beloved of God, let restoration and healing take place. If we are willing, God will be more than willing. This is His assurance for us.

And if we are willing and we heed God's message for us, blessed are we, because God's light is going to shine so bright in each of us, and we shall arise and shine, for the glory of the Lord is coming upon us! Hallelujah!

How to live victoriously in a time of instability and volatility?

The Lord says:

"These are times of instability and volatility. Things are going to swing violently and unexpectedly in the coming months, and in ways that can confound and surprise even the smartest of brains. But as for you, My beloved, do not get overly carried away by emotions. Keep calm. Do not be anxious and do not panic, no matter what you see or what you hear in the world around you. Instead, be filled with My peace that surpasses all understanding."

I also heard these words: "Play the long game!" Imagine a straight path ahead towards the horizon. Do not just look at the present or short term. Look at what's at the horizon. Look at the long term. Look to the Lord who is sovereign and in control. He sees the end from the beginning. Be patient. Trust that the Lord knows what He's doing in your life, and even in the world around you. That's what "play the long game" means.

There's no doubt the world around us is changing, and changing fast. In fact, there's going to be acceleration of changes, and many things are going to happen suddenly. But fear not. Keep trusting in the Lord and keep looking to the Lord. Do not panic. Ask for the wisdom from God. Ask, and you shall receive. Ask for the leading, direction, and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

How do you prepare in a time of instability and volatility? How do you live victoriously in such a time? First of all, receive the peace that comes only from God!

Now, this peace from God is not just peace per se, as in the dictionary. This peace encompasses many aspects of your life. It is a big word. This peace is 'shalom' in Hebrew. Peace in every sense of the word 'peace'. It includes your safety, your wellness, your wholeness, your welfare, and even your health. So, it is not just a state of being safe and secure. But also, it is having the assurance that the Lord is still in control and the Lord is sovereign, and the Lord knows what He is doing in your life.

In John 14:27, Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

You see, nothing can take away this peace that's inside of you. This peace that comes only from the Lord. This peace that the world cannot give. This peace is greater than any turbulence outside of you in this world, or whatever disturbing news you hear in the world.

Just one verse before that, in John 14:26, Jesus says, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things I said to you."

Indeed, He has given us the Holy Spirit. And the Lord is saying to you that it's not too late yet, if you heed the Lord now. Obedience is the key. Change, when He asks you to change. Change how you see things. Change how you approach things. Move as He moves. Stop as He stops. When He says so, you say so. When He says no, you say no. Listen to the Holy Spirit that's inside of you.

Listen to the "peace" or "un-peace" that's inside of you. Follow the peace of the Holy Spirit. And heed His warnings. And that's how you will never go wrong. Why? Because the Holy Spirit will never go wrong. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of all truth, and He is all-knowing.

So you see, obedience is the key. Obedience to what? Obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Flow with the Holy Spirit. Not just listen to those who claim or seem to be knowledgeable. Now, there's a place, of course, for the professionals. But they are just humans. They can be wrong too. They can predict wrongly too. But the Holy Spirit in you will always speak the truth. That is the difference.

Isaiah 26:3-4 says, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength."

God can keep you in perfect peace when your mind is stayed on Him, and when you trust in Him. That's what the Scripture says here. So, no matter what happens outside of you in the world, you can still trust in the Lord who is your everlasting strength. He will keep you in perfect peace. He is your everlasting strength. The strength that cannot be shaken.

The word 'peace' here (or 'shalom' in Hebrew) comes from this word 'shalam' in Hebrew. It literally means 'to be completely and unquestionably safe and secure'. Completely and unquestionably safe and secure in Him!

Beloved of God, what are the 'storms' that you may be facing at the moment? It may be your health. It may be financially. It may be in any area of your life. But take heart, because whatever the 'storm' may be, if your mind is stayed on YAH, the LORD, this peace (or 'shalom') will rule and reign in you and in your situation. And I want to declare by faith that this peace inside of you will drown out all those "storms"! However big these "storms" seem to be!

Is it a health storm? Is it a financial storm? Is it a storm in your relationship or in your family? Is it a storm in your business? Is it a storm in your city, your nation, or even in the world? But I tell you what, the Lord is greater. The Lord is greater than whatever that is in the world. The Lord is greater than whatever the enemy throws at you. And as you receive this peace, this shalom peace deep inside of you, there will be such calmness and assurance that only the Lord can give. Now that's what Isaiah 26:3-4 mean here.

Remember, in the midst of the storm, Jesus said, "Peace, be still." And you know what? The storm was calmed. The violent waves ceased. And the boat He was in sailed safely to the destination. And that's what the Lord is saying to you as well. You will sail safely to your destination, and you will fulfill all of God's plans and purposes for your life, your destiny! Amen!

Words for the year 2026

Receive this for the year 2026. This is for you!

"This is a year of expansion in your spirit, and expansion in anointing and authority in your spirit. There is an enlargement in the spiritual territory and spiritual sphere in your life. This is also a year for promotion and vindication in your life. Whatever injustice that you have suffered in the previous year, you will see justice for your life."

Isaiah 54:2-3 (NKJV)

Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left...

Even though this is for Israel, but on a personal basis, this is for you too, a beloved of God. Stay faithful to the Lord. Stay close to the Lord. Walk with Him. And you shall see this come to pass this year.

Isaiah 54:4 (NKJV)

Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, and will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.

Indeed, old things have passed away, and all things have become new. Let go of all those shame, defeat, and even humiliation of your past. There is a renewed hope for you this year!

Isaiah 54:6 (NKJV)

For the Lord has called you like a woman forsaken and grieved in the spirit, like a youthful wife when you were refused.

Beloved of God, as you enter into this year 2026, know that the Lord has a very special calling and purpose for you. You may have been abandoned in the past. You may have been sidelined in the past. You may have been shunned in the past. But there is a refreshing for you this year. You are so, so precious in God's eyes. The Lord says He remembers you. He will use you in greater measure this year for His glory!

Isaiah 54:10 (NKJV)

For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed.

Receive His goodness, kindness, and shalom peace. Receive this by faith in your life, and even for your family!

Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV)

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me.

The Lord is with you. This whole Isaiah 54 is God's prophetic call for you to walk in His destiny for you. This is for you this year 2026.

I declare that His destiny for you is full of hope and a future. He has called you to inherit His blessings this year. He has called you for a spiritual expansion this year. And because of what He has done on the cross for you, He has died for you on the cross, He has also broken the curse for you. And He has overcome all your past shame in your life!

So, make room for Him! Make room for His expansion in your life!

The Lord says further to you:

"For I say to you, beloved, I will strengthen you this year. Whatever is weak in your life, I shall be your strength. It's the beginning of you walking in fruitfulness that you've never seen before in your life. For your past shame has been taken away, and all things have become new in your life."

"Look to Me, for I will show you the way. If you have been feeling lost and useless in the time past, it shall not be anymore. For I have made a way for you. If you look to Me, I will entrust you with many more things. You will be entrusted in many more ways. This is the year for you to strengthen yourself in My Word and in My Spirit. Flow in My Spirit. For My prophetic anointing is very strong upon you. You shall even break new ground. You shall even walk into the areas that have been impossible in the past. For you have been sowing in tears, but you shall now reap in joy. Therefore, be strengthened and be refreshed as you walk into this new year. For I will know how to make the way clear for you."

"My river will overflow you this year. This river will not drown you. But this river is a blessing to you. The river that brings abundance of My goodness and grace for you. The river that brings you to fulfill My destiny for you. Flow in this river of My Spirit. Flow with My anointing. You shall see this anointing increasing and expanding in your life."

I want to bless all my friends and the beloved of God who are reading this.

I bless you with the peace and the prosperity of the Lord!

I bless you with the favor and the grace of the Lord!

I bless you with Isaiah 54, from verse 1 all the way to verse 17.

I declare that the Lord is causing you to be fruitful this year!

I declare that the Lord gives you divine protection and divine health this year!

I declare that His kindness and His goodness shall not depart from you! But all these shall stay with you!

Happy New Year!

Why you shouldn't be worried or anxious about your future

God wants to tell you this:

"Don't allow yourself to regret or think about what could have been or what should have been. Trust in Me for your future and trust in My timing for your life. I am still in control. All things will eventually work out for your good. I still remember My plans and destiny for you. These plans are always and will always be the best for you."

Trust God that He knows what He is doing in your life.

Imagine an artist drawing a masterpiece. At first, you do not know what he's drawing. You cannot figure out what he's drawing. You may be asking, "Does the artist know exactly what he's doing?" or "Does the artist have any idea what he is up to?" Of course, if he is a good artist, he already has an idea!

It is the same with God. God is in the midst of drawing a masterpiece, a great artwork in you. Soon you will know the full picture. And it's going to be good! But you've got to believe.

Maybe there's no open door yet for you. Maybe there's no breakthrough yet for you. Maybe nothing significant seems to be happening in your life right now. Or maybe some things you've wished for have yet to happen or are delayed.

Be patient. God sees all that. He is still very much alive in your situation. Your breakthrough will come!

Psalm 27:14 (NKJV) says, 'Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord.'

Two times it's written here: "Wait, wait."

This word 'wait' here in the original Hebrew is interesting. It's not like what you understand this word 'wait' in English. This word 'wait' is 'qavah' in Hebrew. In our context about waiting on God here, it can mean 'to gather (strength) from the Lord, to look patiently to the Lord, to collect (strength) from the Lord, to bind together with the Lord (like two ropes binding together)'.

Do you know this word 'qavah' actually comes from the word 'qav' in Hebrew, meaning 'rope' or 'cord'?

Imagine you are a rope or a cord, and you are binding together with another rope or cord, a much stronger one. That's a picture of God and you! God and you. You and God. Binding together! Nothing's going to be able to cut it off. That's what it means here by binding together two ropes. In your weaknesses, He is your strength. He is going through it together with you!

So, no matter how cruel this world may be, God is with you! He is 'binding together' with you! He is going through all this with you!

This psalm was written at a time David was going through a difficult patch of time, and he was in great distress. He was being hunted by King Saul. He was on the run. King Saul wanted to kill David, even though David didn't commit any wrong. In fact, David won a victory for King Saul. But King Saul wanted no threat to his throne as king. King Saul wanted to finish him off!

Instead of losing hope on God, David learned to 'qavah' and trust in the Lord his God. He believed this time of danger and persecution would finally end. He just had to wait things out. Of course, little did he know that this was also part of God's training in his life to prepare him for something greater.

Beloved of God, the same it is for you. The Lord is preparing you for something greater! So, as you 'qavah' or wait on the Lord, it's not like nothing is happening. The Lord is in the midst of strengthening you! The Lord is doing something inside of you! The Lord is strengthening you in many ways.

Why? So that when your eventual success or breakthrough comes, you are ready, and you will not fall under the "weight" of that success. In other words, you're up to it. You're up to the new heights that God is bringing you to!

So beloved of God, trust that God's timing is always the best for you. God knows the perfect moment to act in your life!

You're not too late yet!

The Lord is saying to you: "There's a fresh outlook for you right now. There's a fresh release of hope and strength upon you right now. Receive all this, and rise above the gloominess and the darkness of this world."

In a vision I saw while praying, I see you like a car being painted with a new coat of paint. It's as good as new. It's like a brand new car. There's a fresh and shiny 'gloss' on this car now. It's so different from the same car that's dull and dated prior to that. There's a touch of freshness on the car. It's like the car has been revitalized, refreshed, and renewed.

The Lord is saying to you that you are like that car. It was tired, dull, and dated. But the Lord is bringing the 'gloss' back to you! The Lord is putting a new touch on you. It's the same you, yet it's a new you. You'll begin to see many things in a new light. You'll begin to have a new outlook. This is what the Lord is saying to you right now.

There's just this sense of hopelessness and negativity among a lot of people in the world nowadays. In fact, some even feel that life is so unfair to them. For some others, they have been so exhausted in this life struggle, life is nothing but hopeless. Now, if you sense the spiritual atmosphere around you, you would know there's this air of pessimism. The outlook of many people in all parts of the world seem gloomy about the world and the future. Not only among the young people nowadays, but across all ages.

Beloved of God, no matter what you've been going through recently, you don't have to come under this negative atmosphere. Today, the Lord is releasing His anointing and His power for you to break free from all this! The Lord is leading you above this gloomy spiritual atmosphere right now. Let Him lead you. Let Him bring you on His wings, like that of an eagle's. This is the time to rise above and not go under!

So, if suddenly for no apparent reason, you feel that you're getting stuck in your life, or you feel like your life isn't going anywhere; or recently things never go smoothly the way you've wished it to be; or recently a lot of time has been wasted on things that suddenly crop up out of nowhere; you are not alone! The Lord sees and understands all that.

And the Lord is saying to you: "Put all your focus on Me. Put all your heart on Me. And watch My hand turn things around for you. But you've got to trust Me. You've got to believe. There's going to be a turnaround for you. Hang on strong and be patient. Do not give up just yet. For you'll begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel."

Jeremiah 29:11 says, 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.'

Isaiah 41:10 says, 'Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

Joshua 1:9 says, 'Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.'

Psalm 40:1-3 says, 'I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of the horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth - Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord.'

As I was reading all these Bible verses, I heard the Lord saying: "There will be new things and new horizons for you. Just don't look back. It's not too late for you just yet. Be set free from whatever that has overwhelmed you and has cast a gloom upon you. Be set free! For I'm giving you the power to rise above and to start afresh!"

Receive all this by faith, whatever your situation may be right now!

The Lord is also saying to you: "I have never been late. I am never too late for you. You think that I am late. But I am never too late for you. For I see time not as man sees time. To Me, a thousand years is as a day, and a day is as a thousand years. So, look to Me and put your hope on Me. For I can turn things around for you in ways that you cannot imagine. For I am the Lord your God."

I mean, if you look at Lazarus, he was four days dead. There was already a stench on his body. And the sisters, Mary and Martha, told Jesus, "If only You were here earlier, Lazarus our brother would not have died." But to Jesus, He was never late. Jesus' on time. And you know that miracle. Lazarus rose from the dead!

So beloved of God, whatever your 'dead' situation may be, or whatever your hopeless situation may be, the Lord your God is saying to you right now He's never too late for you! He sees time not as you see time. He is above time. He rises above our chronological time. And He is on time for you! Of course, things may not happen exactly like it used to be. Some things don't happen two times. But don't limit yourself with your past, or what you used to be in your past. Because the Lord is giving you a new horizon. New things are coming your way!

When slander strikes: Letting go and letting God

The Lord says for this time:

"Whatever injustice that you've gone through recently, know that My grace is sufficient for you. I have seen all the injustices and wrongs that some have committed against you, and I will know how to repay for you. For I am a God of justice. Forgive and let go. Have a big heart. Be merciful, for I am merciful. Look to Me and trust in Me, for I will know how to take over from here, just as I've done for David."

David's life was a rather eventful and dramatic one. It's epic. Full of twists and turns. No one can deny that. But for today, we shall go straight to 2 Samuel 16

2 Samuel 16:5-6 says, 'Now when David came to Bahurim, there was a man from the family of the house of Saul whose name was Shimei the son of Gera, coming from there. Shimei came out cursing continuously as David came. Shimei threw stones at David and at all the servants of David.'

2 Samuel 16:7-8 says, 'Shimei said thus when he cursed, "Come out! Come out! You bloodthirsty man, you rogue! The Lord has brought upon you all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose place you have reigned; and the Lord has delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom your son. So now you are caught in your own evil, because you are a bloodthirsty man!"'

Now, that was a false accusation against David! As a matter of fact, David had no intention to kill Saul in the first place. It was the other way round. It was Saul who had wanted to kill David. And here Shimei was, when David was down and out because he had just lost his throne to Absalom at that time, Shimei had this audacity to throw stones at David and accuse David of all kinds of things!

2 Samuel 16:9-10 says, 'Then Abishai (one of the commanders of David's army) said to David, "Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? Please, let me go over and take off his head!" But David said, "Let him curse..."'

As you can see here, David just allowed Shimei to curse him and say whatever he wanted to say against him. In other words, David did not react or strike back.

2 Samuel 16:13 says, 'As David and his men went along the road, Shimei went along the hillside opposite him and cursed him (David) as he went. Shimei threw stones at David and kicked up dust against David.'

Still, David did not react or strike back. He let it be. Now, the background at that time was that David's own son Absalom had just declared himself king, taking over from David. It was a full-scale rebellion and coup against David. Driven by his ambition for power, Absalom had by then positioned himself to win the hearts of the people towards himself and away from David. Having seized power from David, he then pursued David, forcing David to flee Jerusalem.

And here Shimei was, taking advantage of the situation to add further misery to David. But as you can see in 2 Samuel 16 here, David did not react negatively or take matters into his own hands. In other words, he let God be God. He let God take over.

What can we learn from here? Whatever injustice committed against you, or whatever slander spoken against you, know that God is watching. God is not dead. He is very much alive. He sees everything from the beginning to the end.

And what's your part? Your part is to let God take over. Let God be God. Now, of course, different people different situation. Whatever your situation may be, this same principle applies.

Eventually, in due time, the tide began to turn in David's favor. Somehow, someway! You see, God has eyes. God is a God of justice. God saw what David had gone through and the injustices that David had experienced. One day, Absalom went into a battle with David's army again. But this time, while he was riding his mule through the thick forest, his head got stuck in the branches of a large tree, and he was left hanging there. He was then killed by Joab and Joab's armor bearers. By the way, Joab was one of the commanders of David's army at that time.

Now that David had regained his throne as king from Absalom, David returned to Jerusalem. So, earlier you saw what Shimei said to David as David fled Jerusalem. Now David's coming back to Jerusalem. What was Shimei's response this time? You can see that in 2 Samuel 19:18-20. Shimei fell down before David and said, "Do not let my lord impute iniquity to me, or remember what wrong your servant did on the day that my lord the king left Jerusalem, that the king should take it to heart. For I, your servant, know that I have sinned. Therefore, here I am, the first to come today of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king."

What a change of tone! Far from those abusive words being hurled against David when David was down and out!

Abishai then said, "Shall not Shimei be put to death? Because he cursed the Lord's anointed?" But David said to Shimei, "You shall not die." You see, to Abishai at that time, and even to many who read this part of the Scripture, it probably doesn't make sense why David said what he said here. In fact, some would even say, "Why was David so foolish to forgive just like that?" I mean, how magnanimous was David!

Most importantly, God saw David's heart.

Now, do you think Shimei really had changed after that? Let me give you the answer. The answer is no, if you refer to the Scripture. Shimei continued to be 'a pain in the neck', so to speak. And later on, he continued to do so even to Solomon, David's son who became king after David. You can see that in 1 Kings 2

So, let's go all the way to 1 Kings 2 now.

1 Kings 2:36-37 says, 'Then the king (Solomon) sent and called for Shimei (yes, the same Shimei), and said to him, "Build yourself a house in Jerusalem and dwell there, and do not go out from there anywhere. For it shall be, on the day you go out and cross the Brook Kidron, know for certain you shall surely die. Your blood shall be on your own head."'

1 Kings 2:38 says, 'And Shimei said to the king (Solomon), "The saying is good. As my lord the king has said, so your servant will do."'

You see, some things die hard. Shimei had proven again and again that he cannot be trusted. He eventually paid the price. So, it happened later, that the king (Solomon) was told that Shimei had gone out of Jerusalem. It was a blatant defiance against the king's order. In other words, Shimei broke his promise. He ate his own words, and therefore he had to pay for it with his own life. It's a checkmate for him. The king (Solomon) then commanded for Shimei to be executed. Well, the king had every right to do so. That's how Shimei died. And that's the end for Shimei.

What can we learn from the Scripture here?

Never seek revenge. Let God be God, and let God take over your situation, whatever situation you are facing at the moment. God who sees everything will know how to do His part, at the right time. And you see again and again how God did it for David.

Beloved of God, the same it is for you. The people who try to hurt you, slander you, or throw false accusations against you will eventually pay the price. You don't even need to lift a finger, if God is on your side. So, yield your heart to God. Submit to God. Humble yourself under the mighty hands of God. Let God wash you clean, white as snow. A pure heart, and that's what God is looking for. And God will honor you for sure, and you will see your reward eventually. Amen!

Like David, whether in the face of King Saul or Absalom, or even the less talked about Shimei that we looked at today, justice has been served in the end. And like David, whose name means 'Beloved', so are you today. You too are a beloved of God. Keep trusting in the Lord and His goodness in your life. Be patient. Persevere in the time of trial or persecution. The time will come when you shall see justice being served!

Breaking free!

The Lord says:

"If you've been bound in a cycle of sin and sorrow, it's time to break free now! If you've been bound in a cycle of sickness and disease, be set free now! Whatever you've been bound and trapped in, I am releasing My anointing for you to walk free now!"

The Lord says further:

"For the time has come for you to walk into a brand new future and My promises for your future! Declare the yoke has been broken! Declare the bondage has been broken! Declare the 'cycle' has been broken! Curse-free! Sickness-free! Sorrow-free! My power is at hand!"

Beloved of God, if you feel like "history is repeating itself" in your life, whether it is another round or 'cycle' of sorrow, failure, disappointment, or whatever bad memory from the past is "sticking out its ugly head" and repeating again in your life, this is your time to receive God's power to break free!

Also, if you see like "history is repeating itself" in the areas of sin in that area or sickness, receive God's anointing to set you free right now!

Or you simply have this feeling of "so near yet so far", God's power is at hand to break and destroy whatever the enemy is trying to hinder you from progressing in your life!

The Scripture has the answer for you.

In Isaiah 61:1-3 (NKJV), the Lord says: "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn... To give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness."

See the exchange taking place here? When you receive this power, this anointing of the Lord, your "ashes" is being exchanged with His beauty, your mourning is being exchanged with joy, and your heaviness, or whatever that burdens you, is being exchanged with praises of the Lord! Hallelujah!

By the way, 'ashes' speaks of 'hopelessness'. When something turns into ashes, there's no way to restore it again or to make it whole again. That's how the world sees it and how the world thinks. But here, to God, even ashes can be restored into something beautiful again! Not only that, He is turning your mourning into joy! This joy doesn't come from anyone on earth. This joy comes directly from the Lord! And then your heaviness is being exchanged with garment of praise! You can begin to sing praises of the Lord like never before!

In Isaiah 61:4 (NKJV), the Lord says further: "And they shall rebuild the old ruins... and they shall repair the ruined cities..."

The word 'repair' here is 'chadash' in Hebrew. It can simply mean 'to make new' or 'to be new'. In other words, everything has become new again! A brand new future! A brand new start! Looking forward to all of God's promises for you in a fresh new way! Looking forward with a new hope! Why? Because you have been set free from whatever that holds you back or entangles you in your past!

A few verses later in Isaiah 61:7 (NKJV), the Lord says: "Instead of shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double."

Beloved of God, whatever you have gone through in your life recently or so far, receive this promise of God for you! Past is past, be it your shame, your sorrow, your despair, or whatever that's undesirable that you've been bound in. All these have been carried by Jesus on the cross! And you know what? Now! Now is your time to walk in double honor! Now is your time to possess double! Now is your time to receive the joy of the Lord, and rejoice! Rejoice in all that God has promised you and shown you!

Let's look at the book of Jeremiah now, specifically Jeremiah 31:3-4. You see, Jeremiah was known as a heartbroken prophet with a heartbreaking message. He was lamenting about what's happening to God's people at that time. But in spite of all that, he still had a wonderful message of hope for those who believe. In Jeremiah 31:3-4, this is what he quoted the Lord saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt... You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, and shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice."

Even though Jeremiah 31:3-4 here is speaking specifically for the people of Israel, this can apply right now in your life too. The Lord is telling you, beloved, that there's hope for restoration and renewal in your life, whatever your past may be!

Maybe you have gone through a time of mourning or sorrow recently. Maybe you have encountered a very sticky situation in your life recently. Or maybe you seem to be like at a dead-end road right now. Whatever you've been facing, take heart, beloved. Because the Lord has a good news for you! He wants you to know that He has loved you with an everlasting love. He wants you to know that He has begun His work of restoring you and making all things new in your life. Amen!

You know what? These are reasons enough for you to rejoice. The joy of knowing that God remembers you! The joy of knowing that God hasn't forgotten you! The joy of knowing that God loves you with His unfailing and everlasting love! The joy of knowing that God has a new hope and purpose for you, going forward! The joy of knowing that your time of restoration and renewal has come! Amen! Somebody shout Hallelujah!

Prayer:

"O Lord God, we thank You for Your message of hope and renewal today. We thank You for Your power and anointing to set us free! Free from curse! Free from bondage! Free from whatever that traps or ensnares us! We receive Your anointing right now by faith! We receive Your oil of joy right now! We receive Your crown of beauty right now in exchange of our ashes! Hope is rising! Joy has been released upon us! We receive it by faith. We give You praises, O Lord! We rejoice with this joy that comes directly from You! We walk free now! Free to be who and what You've always wanted us to be. In Jesus' name. Amen!"

God can turn your mistakes and failures around!

The Lord says:

"As you keep doing what I've called you to do and keep building what I've called you to build, do not lose heart and do not allow anyone or anything to discourage you. For I am in the midst of giving you new strategies and new wisdom to accomplish all these. Receive all these from Me in this time and season. I am even going to turn your mistakes and failures around, however big or small, and turn them into something good for you. So, take heart. Look beyond all those mistakes and failures. Look to Me. All things are eventually going to work together for good for you."

We all make mistakes in life. We all have experienced some kind of failures before in life. Given a choice, no one would want to make mistakes or see failures in whatever he or she does.

So, if you think you blew it, and you are now suffering the consequences of it, the Lord is saying to you, "Take heart. Do not be discouraged. There is hope for you."

Of course, you can learn from all those mistakes or failures of yours. But don't linger or dwell in there. You know why? Because the Lord has something new for you!

Romans 8:28 says that 'God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and who are the called according to His purpose for them.'

Yes, according to His purpose for you, beloved!

So, in spite of your past mistakes or failures, or even humiliation or shame, the Lord is saying He will work things together for your good! He can even use those mistakes and turn them around to be something good! What's your part? Your part is to look to the Lord and keep putting all your trust in the Lord!

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.'

One example in the Scripture about God turning things around can be found in 2 Kings chapter 6

2 Kings 6:1-3. And the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, "See now, the place where we dwell with you is too small for us. Please, let us go to the Jordan, and let every man take a beam from there, and let us make there a place where we may dwell." So Elisha answered, "Go." Then one said, "Please consent to go with your servants." And Elisha answered, "I will go."

2 Kings 6:4-5. So Elisha went with them. And when they came to the Jordan, they cut down trees. But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron ax head fell into the river, and he cried out and said, "Alas, master! For it was borrowed."

Have you been in a situation when you are like saying "Alas!"? This may be an old expression. But this is an expression for disappointment, regret, or sadness; especially when there seems to have no more hope that the situation can be changed.

Let's see the symbolic meaning of 2 Kings chapter 6 here. To begin with, what is the purpose of the ax? Ax is used to cut trees. It is for the purpose of building something. For example, furniture, house, etc. In other words, ax is meant 'to build something'.

In the context of what God is saying to us today, this speaks of 'building what God has called you or spoken for you to build in your life'. It can be in the ministry, in your vocation, or in your profession. But in this passage, the ax head fell into the river! You know what? Once fallen, it's not easy to retrieve it! Why? Because it's heavy. It's made of iron. So, that's why the man cried out "Alas!" Not only that. The ax was a borrowed ax. It wasn't his. It means if he loses it, he's going to need to pay it back to the owner. But God! God always has a way to turn things around for His beloved. And it is the same with you too!

See what's next.

2 Kings 6:6-7. So the man of God (Elisha) said, "Where did it fall?" And that man showed him the place. So Elisha cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float. Therefore Elisha said, "Pick it up for yourself." So that man reached out his hand and took it.

Now, that was some kind of a miracle! That really defies logic. I say it defies logic because the iron ax is supposed to be heavy! I mean, how can the ax head float just by throwing a much lighter stick into the river? Again, but God! You see, nothing is impossible to God! He will know how to make a way for you, where there seems to be no way. He will know how to turn your mistakes around. Yes, He can turn even your oversight around. What is 'oversight'? Any unintentional mistake or failure to do something.

By the way, the name 'Elisha' in Hebrew is 'El' meaning 'God', and 'Shuwa' meaning 'supplies, help, hope'. Even though Elisha himself was just a human, this name 'Elisha' is symbolic. It is symbolic of who your God is. And here, you can see that He is a God who knows how to supply you. He is a God of help and hope, even when you feel helpless or hopeless in your situation or in your life at the moment.

So, take heart. Just as Elisha was there to give a solution to that man who dropped the iron ax head, God is also here to give you a solution to whatever you are going through in your life right now. Yes, even for the mistakes, failures, or oversights in your life!

How about the stick that Elisha used to cause the heavy iron ax head to float? In this passage here, it really does look like it's just another stick that Elisha cut from a tree nearby. But, what is the symbolic meaning of this stick here? It speaks of what Jesus has done for you on the cross! Yes, on the wooden cross! In other words, on the tree!

Just as the stick caused the iron ax head to float (and that's a miracle indeed), what Jesus has done on the cross for you can reverse things around for your good! Just don't limit how God is going to do it!

Prayer:

"O Lord God, we thank You for Your words of encouragement for us today. There's nothing that You cannot turn around in our lives, no matter what mistake we've made in life, however big or small. No mistake, no failure, no oversight, and in fact, no work of the enemy can hold You back from turning things around in our lives. Because You are a great God. You are great, and greatly to be praised. You are strong and mighty in all Your ways. You are all-wise, all-knowing, all-present, and all-powerful. You are unlimited in who You are and what You can do. And nothing on earth can stop You from accomplishing Your plans and purposes for each of our lives. In the name of Jesus. Amen."

Receive the power for miracles and healing!

The Lord says:

"These coming four months are months of miracles and recovery. Many of My people have been believing for miracles in their respective lives, and I have heard it. Know that My power is present, and not absent. Hang on strong to Me. Keep believing and looking to Me. Fear not, for I am with you. Be anxious not, for I am in you. In your weakness, I am your strength."

The Lord says further:

"My anointing is flowing and coming strongly to you beginning this month, especially in the areas of healing, restoration and recovery. Receive it by faith. Take it with you, and be blessed. There's power for healing. There's power for miracles. There's power for restoration. I will begin to bless your hands. I will begin to put My anointing upon your hands. Give your hands to Me. Receive it with your hands. There's so much more I want to do with your hands. There's so much more I want to do with your life."

Beloved of God, whatever your situation or condition may be at the moment, all is not lost. Hang on there! Hang on strong! There is still hope for you, no matter how impossible things may seem to be at the moment. Nothing is impossible to God. All things are possible to God.

What's your part? Your part is to believe and to agree with what He says.

Luke 5:17 says, 'Now it happened on a certain day, as Jesus was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them (anyone who came to Him).'

See the word 'present' here? Present, not absent. Declare this upon your life and your loved ones: "The power of God is present!" Indeed, He is present even right now!

The word 'power' here is 'dunamis' in Greek. It means 'miraculous power' or 'mighty work'. See the word 'miraculous' here? This word 'dunamis' comes from the word 'dunamai', and it means 'to be able' or 'to be possible'.

You see, your God is able, and all things are possible to Him! Even when the world says it is impossible. Why? Because He is above natural. He is above the physical realm. He is supernatural!

Acts 10:38 says, '...how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power ('dunamis'), who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.'

This same power ('dunamis') is now here (not nowhere) to break every yoke or bondage in your life!

What is a 'yoke'? It is anything that oppresses or hinders you from living or moving effectively in your life. For example, sickness is a form of yoke. Why? Because sickness oppresses and hinders you from living or moving effectively in your life. You see, you can't do many things that you should have or could have when you are sick. But I have a good news for you. The Lord is setting you free now! Just believe. Do not doubt, no matter what your condition is at the moment. And never limit how God is going to do it.

In Luke 4:18-19, Jesus said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

Today, the anointing that's upon Jesus has been poured out on you!

In Acts 1:8, Jesus said, "But you shall receive power ('dunamis') when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

As a believer, this same power ('dunamis') has come upon you! You can now therefore walk in this power, this 'dunamis', this empowering of God!

By the way, the word 'anointed' in Luke 4 here is 'chrio' in Greek. It literally means 'to rub oil on'. This speaks of 'God's contact with you'. You see, to rub oil, you need to have some form of contact in order to put the oil on you. And today, this contact has happened! God's hand is in contact with you! God's hand is putting His anointing on you! God's hand is upon your hands right now! God's hand is touching the areas in your life that needs a miracle or healing right now!

"How do I activate this power of God that's in me?"

The answer is simple: By believing and agreeing with Him

"Where is the proof in the Bible?"

Hebrews 11:6 says, 'But without faith (i.e. 'a believing heart') it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is (i.e. 'present, not absent'), and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.'

The word 'please' here is interesting. It is 'euaresteo' in Greek, from the word 'euarestos', meaning 'to be fully agreeable with'.

Therefore, in our context here, 'to please Him' is 'to be fully agreeable with Him'. In other words, 'to be fully agreeable with what He says'. Not what the world says. Not what others say. But what God says in His Word!

The Bible says Jesus is the Word. He is the Word of God became flesh. So, to be fully agreeable with Him is to be fully agreeable with what He says in His Word. Not partly agreeable. But fully agreeable! It means 'to agree fully, and to act on what He says'.

So, what is He saying to you right now? Your time of healing and recovery is here right now! Your time of miracle is here right now! Be fully agreeable with Him. Amen! And never allow anyone to cause you to doubt.

You can find an example in Matthew 14:28-29. Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water." Jesus then said, "Come." And when Peter had come out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. Hallelujah!

You see here? When Peter believed that Jesus is, and Jesus is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, he began to walk on water!

The expression 'walking on water' here speaks of you triumphing over and above your natural condition, situation, or circumstance, whatever this may be!

Throughout the Scripture, you see many more examples of miracles. But one conclusion we can make is Jesus is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him

What does 'to diligently seek Him' here mean? It means 'to keep (and keep on) looking to Him, no matter what'. You can also say, 'to keep (and keep on) trusting in Him and receiving from Him, no matter what'. No matter what people say! No matter what the world says! No matter how impossible the situation may be!

Prayer:

"O Lord God, we thank You for Your words for us today. We want to keep believing and keep agreeing with what You have spoken in Your Word. It's about what You say. Not what the world says. We believe that You are, and You are the rewarder of those who diligently seek You. We take You at Your Word. We will not give in or give up. Because we know Your power is right now present, and not absent. We declare upon our current condition, situation, or circumstance right now.....(name it)..... that You are present and You are working mightily to bring miracles, healing, restoration, and recovery. In Jesus' name. Amen."

Entering the realm of miracles and breakthroughs!

The Lord says:

"Tell My people this is the time to declare heaven to open over and above their heads."

The Lord says further:

"For My light is shining bright upon My people in spite of the darkness surrounding them in the world. For My glory is coming such as has never been seen on earth. Look up therefore, and receive from Me."

The Lord wants you to enter His realm of victory, breakthrough, and miracles!

What are the miracles that you need in your life right now? What are the breakthroughs that you need in your life right now? It may be in your health. It may be in your finance. It may be in your career. It may be in the ministry. Or in any area of your life. Let the King of glory come into that area. Amen!

Remember, He has been resurrected, and in Him is life! He has victory over whatever that's dead or hopeless. So, present to the Lord whatever that's dead or hopeless in your life. Let God breathe life into those situation of yours.

In John 1:51, Jesus said to Nathanael, "Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man."

And you know what? The very next moment after that, Jesus performed His very first miracle on earth! What was that miracle? He turned water into wine!

I want to declare upon you that whatever that you are running out of, or whatever that you are lacking, the Lord is filling it right now!

John 2:1-3 (NKJV) says, 'On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have no wine."'

'On the third day' here is symbolic of 'the resurrection of Jesus, and the fact that He is very much alive today'.

'Jesus being invited' here speaks of 'Jesus being invited into your life and even in your situation'.

'Wine' here speaks of 'the joy and every good thing in life'.

Just for a cross-reference. In the English Standard Version (ESV), Nehemiah 8:10 says: And he said to them, "Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine, and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."

See the word 'wine' there?

As you receive the joy that comes from the above, you'll also have the strength to carry on and look forward in your life. With a new vigor! With a new hope!

As a matter of fact, one of the reasons Jesus came on earth is to set you free from every sorrow!

Beloved of God, surrender whatever sorrow (or even pain) that you have to the Lord. He is here to set you free from all these!

And whatever your 'sticky situation' that you have right now, the Lord is assuring you that He will always have a solution to all these! Nothing is too difficult for Him. All things are possible to Him. You believe this, and you shall receive. Just do not limit how God is going to do it.

John 2:6-8 (NKJV) says, 'Now there were set there six waterpots of stone... containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them (those who were serving in the wedding banquet), "Fill the waterpots with water." And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, "Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast." And they took it.'

You see, whatever Jesus said, they did it accordingly. Now, that's the same key for you to enter the realm of miracles and breakthroughs. Whatever He says, you do.

See what happened next. John 2:9-11 (NKJV) says, 'When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. And he said to him, "Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!" This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.'

Today, the Lord is saying here right now, that you too are entering such realm! The realm of miracles and breakthroughs! By faith, see yourself walking in it!

Prayer:

"O Lord God, we thank You for Your words today. You are a God who turns our sorrow into joy, and our mourning into dancing! You are a God of signs, wonders and miracles. We want to walk in this realm of miracles and breakthroughs right now. We want to walk under Your open heaven here on earth right now. We look to You, and we present to You our lives. We present to You our situation right now, especially those sticky and challenging ones. Come and shine Your light on all these. Come and have Your way. We receive Your miracle, by faith. We receive Your breakthrough, by faith. We receive the victory that You have won for us, by faith. Every hindrance, be gone! Every sickness, be gone! Every work of darkness that comes against us, be gone! In the name of Jesus. Amen!"

Words from the Lord: "The rain has begun falling! Your drought is coming to an end!"

The Lord says:

"Your drought time is coming to an end! There's a renewal happening in My people! There's a fresh release of My Spirit and My living waters on those who have been going through a time of barrenness. My rain has begun falling! Heaven is open! I am pouring My Spirit on those who need refreshing! I am causing life to return again! Your land will be filled again! Your rivers will flow again!"

Before we go further, what is the definition of this word 'drought'? In geographical or physical terms, it can be defined as 'a prolonged period of abnormally low rainfall, leading to a shortage of water'. In an agricultural society, this is a big thing, people! Because it affects the very livelihood of the people in the land. In short, no water means no life!

In your context, your situation may not be a geographical or physical drought, but it may be spiritual drought, financial drought, drought in your career, drought in your business, drought in the ministry, or any kind of drought in any area of your life.

Even if at the moment, there seems to be no sign of the 'drought' ending in your physical eyes or in the physical realm around you, and there seems to be no sign of any 'rain cloud' coming, keep trusting in the Lord and keep looking to the Lord! Just like in Elijah's days when he asked to look at the sky for any sign of rain coming!

In an agricultural society like in Israel those days, the coming of rain is synonymous with drought coming to an end. Beloved of God, this can apply to you spiritually or in any area of your life that has been going through a time of drought.

I declare that the rain from heaven is coming upon your life! There will be a new life! There will be refreshing! There will be renewal!

After a great victory at Mount Carmel, let's look at 1 Kings 18:41 onwards now. 'Then Elijah said to Ahab (the king), "Go up, eat and drink, for there is the sound of abundance of rain."' At that time, the land had been experiencing a long drought and severe famine for several years (about three and a half years). Maybe you too have been experiencing some kind of 'drought' recently. Take heart. Rain is coming! There will be refreshing and renewal again!

Let's read further. 1 Kings 18:42-43 says, 'So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, and said to his servant, "Go up now, look toward the sea." So he went up and looked, and said, "There is nothing." And seven times he said, "Go again."'

Elijah knew once the false prophets of Baal were defeated and the worship of the false god of Baal stopped, the drought in the land would also stop. It means rain was about to come. That's why he told his servant to check it out for any sign of rain. In the meantime, what did Elijah do? He went to the Lord in prayer, and he worshiped the Lord.

1 Kings 18:44 says, 'Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he (the servant) said, "There is a cloud, as small as a man's hand, rising out of the sea!" So he (Elijah) said, "Go up, and say to Ahab, 'Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.'"'

Elijah was a man of faith. He would not take no for an answer, even if the servant couldn't see any sign of rain yet. Elijah just knew the rain's coming. He had this deep confidence in the Lord that the time for rain is coming!

The same it is in your situation. Never give up on the Lord doing His part. Keep looking to the Lord. Keep praying. Keep declaring God's purposes in your life to come to pass. Keep waiting on the Lord, and keep hoping in Him that He will make good His promises in your life.

So, even with the little sign of cloud, as small as a man's hand, and based on this sighting, Elijah knew an outpouring of rain was about to come. That's why he told Ahab to prepare the chariot. And true enough. See what happened next. 1 Kings 18:45-46 says, 'Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.'

God's promise of rain came to pass. The long drought was finally over. The rain has come. Hallelujah! And look here. There was a supernatural empowering on Elijah, so much so he even ran ahead of Ahab's chariot!

Beloved of God, there's also supernatural empowering from heaven being released upon you right now. There will be a renewed strength in your life. There will be a new vigor coming in your life. You shall begin to see a new purpose in your life. You will look ahead with great hope and anticipation. Amen!

The Lord says further:

"Watch My hand making things happen in your life! Watch My hand making things happen even in the nation or the nations of the world. My rain is coming! For I am calling you to declare what you see and hear from Me! For I am raising up many watchmen and watchwomen in this time and season, who see how I see, and to declare it!"

Yes, declare what you see and what you hear from the Lord! Declare it into being by faith!

Isaiah 21:6 says, 'For thus has the Lord said to me: "Go, set a watchman; Let him declare what he sees."'

See the word 'watchman' here? What is the purpose of a 'watchman' (or 'watchwoman')? The answer is here: To declare what he sees (or what she sees) in the spiritual realm. It means, as the Lord says, you say. And as the Lord puts in your heart to declare, even in your prayer time, declare it into being. Be faithful in this, and God will show you even more and amazing things to come!

Looking back at Isaiah 21 here, what is the definition of 'watchman'? The word 'watchman' here is 'tsaphah' in Hebrew, from the word that means 'to lean forward, to look into the distance, to watch, to observe'.

So, you lean forward to hear from the Lord. The heartbeat of the Lord. What the Lord is doing in each time and season. What the Lord is doing right now. And you walk accordingly. And if He asks you to declare it, you declare it faithfully.

It can also mean 'to look into the distance'. Yes, to look into the future. The Lord is going to show you, as you open your heart to the Lord, surrender to the Lord, and yield to the Lord. Yes, as you commune with the Lord. As you worship the Lord. As you pray in the spirit. And you'll be able to watch, and you'll be able to observe what the Lord is doing. You will cause many people to avoid their pitfalls. You will prevent evil through your prayers. You will declare things into being. Even in the nation or nations that the Lord has put in your heart to pray for. And this anointing of the watchman is being released upon you right now!

Words from the Lord: "I will make things clear for you!"

The Lord says:

"If you are in a state of confusion or chaos at the moment, seek Me and you will find Me. For I am not a God of confusion or chaos. I will show you the way forward. I will show you the clear path ahead. Things will become clearer and clearer, as you seek Me and look to Me. Let go of whatever past that holds you back, and get hold of Me. You will begin to see clearer and clearer along the way. You will begin to see and understand how I see and what I see for your life and your future."

This applies whether in your career, in the ministry, in your business, or in any area of your life. So, take heart, beloved, if you have many "questions" about your life that are unanswered at the moment, or if you don't know what to do or how to go about in your life, at this juncture of your life.

Just look at David when he ended up in the cave of Adullam. It was a chaotic situation prior to that. And he even had to pretend madness.

Look here at 1 Samuel 21:10-12. That was the time when David was being "hunted" or pursued relentlessly by King Saul who was jealous of him. 'Then David arose and fled that day from before Saul, and went to Achish the king of Gath. And the servants of Achish said to him, "Is this not David the king of the land? Did they not sing of him to one another in dances, saying: 'Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands'?" Now David took these words to heart, and was very much afraid of Achish the king of Gath.'

So, what did David do? 1 Samuel 21:13-14 says, 'So David changed his behavior before them, pretended madness in their hands, scratched on the doors of the gate, and let his saliva fall down on his beard. Then Achish said to his servants, "Look, you see that man is insane. Why have you brought him to me?"'

King Achish obviously didn't think that was the David the servants were talking about. Now, you might say, "What happened?" That was a far cry from the time when he slain the ten thousands!

Or maybe in your situation, you too may be asking, "What happened to the dreams and prophecies regarding myself and my future?"

Maybe you are struggling with life at the moment. Maybe you are in a state of confusion at the moment. Maybe you do not know what to do anymore, going forward. Now, that was probably how David felt at that time as well. You see, you are not alone.

If you rewind back to 1 Samuel 16, just about five chapters back, David was at that time anointed to be king by prophet Samuel, and supposedly having a great destiny and future. He was the rising star in his land, so to speak. But what happened now? Has God forgotten His promises and words to David? This was likely in David's mind at that time when he pretended madness. He must be wondering how did he reach such a low point in his life? Wasn't his destiny supposed to be great? Wasn't his destiny was to be king, as spoken by prophet Samuel? It's like the whole world came crashing down on David. He was running for his life. He was escaping from King Saul. He even had to pretend madness, just to conceal his identity!

See what happened next. 1 Samuel 22:1 says, 'David therefore departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. So when his brothers and all his father's house heard it, they went down there to him.' Now, 'cave' here speaks of 'darkness, fear, out in the cold'. Indeed, it was a 'cave' experience for David at that time. He was fleeing from King Saul, and he had nowhere to go. So he hid in the cave.

Maybe you too are feeling the same at the moment regarding your career, your ministry, or in any area of your life. Maybe you don't know what to do and how to go about at this juncture anymore. Maybe you are at a 'crossroad' and you don't know which way to go. Maybe you don't see much hope in your future.

1 Samuel 22:2 says, 'And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to David.' In other words, the outcasts, the overlooked, and the misfits in the society at that time. And some of them were there with David. These were the people bitter in their souls. The broken people.

Instead of being surrounded by dignitaries or the powerful people in the palace, David at that time saw himself surrounded by these broken people. And the Scripture says, 'So David became captain over them. And there were about four hundred men with him.' Yes, in the cave. Having the same 'cave' experience. And even at the time when David himself was broken, God could still use him to touch the other broken people in the cave and raise them up.

To cut the whole story short, these broken people eventually became some of David's most faithful and powerful men (when David became king later in his life). In the darkness of the cave of Adullam, David became like a 'light' to these people. As time went by, these same people were renewed. Their hope rekindled. They were changed. They were transformed. Hallelujah!

You see, of all places, it was in that cave that God began to make clear David's path, the path that eventually led to him becoming the king in Israel.

I believe one thing David had inside of him that made the difference is he's a worshiper of the Lord. Deep inside him, he has this deep relationship with the Lord. He has this deep faith and assurance in the Lord that the Lord isn't dead, and the Lord hasn't forgotten him. Deep inside him, he trusted in the Lord, and knew it's not over yet for him. He knew the Lord still remembers His promises and destiny for him.

This 'cave' experience became like a base where David rose up again. In fact, stronger than ever before. You see, at that time, David could have crumbled and given up everything. He could have regressed into a lonely man, or turned into a miserable man. But, no. He didn't. With the Lord in him and with him; and by the grace of God, he rose up. And it was here that he became the leader of this group of seemingly 'useless' people in the eyes of the society. Not just that. They even turned into mighty warriors of the Lord!

In 2 Samuel 23, the time nearing the end of David's life, you can see the summary of the great things done by some of these mighty men who served with David. And some of them were actually among the four hundred in the cave of Adullam!

Cross-reference to Psalm 142:3. David prayed this when he was in the cave of Adullam. 'When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then You knew my path...' Yes, the Lord knew his path. And beloved, the Lord knows your path too. Now, the word 'overwhelmed' here is 'ataph' in Hebrew. Interestingly, this word can mean 'in darkness, in chaos, in confusion'. Exactly like what the Lord has spoken today!

You see, the Lord will know how to show you the path forward, if you look to Him and seek Him. He always sees the 'big picture'. He always sees the end from the beginning, even when you can't. Your part is to be patient. Keep focusing on the Lord, not on your own situation or your own doubts. Everything will become clearer and clearer when you look to the Lord.

So beloved, whatever 'cave' experience that you are going through at the moment, take heart. Keep looking to the Lord and trusting in the Lord. Do you know that God does great things in the cave? Let me show you the proof. Elijah was in the cave when God spoke to him further about the details of what's to come, and about what he should be doing, going forward. In fact, Jesus Himself was in the cave where His tomb was (yes, that was a kind of cave), before He resurrected!

You see? Your 'cave' experience; seemingly in the dark, and seemingly not knowing what comes next; can be where God begins a new dawn in your life, where God begins a new work in your life, and where God prepares you for something great in the future!

Like David in the cave!

Like Elijah in the cave!

Like Jesus Himself in the cave!

Let us remember Proverbs 3:5-6 that says, 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.'

Indeed, things are going to become clearer and clearer, as you seek the Lord, as you surrender yourself before the Lord, and as you continue to put your trust in the Lord.

He will know how to direct your paths. He will know how to show you the way. He will know how to lead you into His destiny for your life. Amen!
