Receive the warrior anointing!

The Lord has spoken for this time:

"The anointing of a warrior has been released to My people! Receive by faith! This is your time to take authority and cut off all those works of darkness that try to oppress you! This is your time to stand up to be who I have ordained you to be! This is your time to see your deliverance and victory, whatever attack or oppression you may be facing at the moment!"

Somebody shout "Hallelujah!" It is a warrior anointing that has been released upon you!

Judges 6:3-4 (NKJV) says, 'So it was, whenever Israel had sown, Midianites would come up; also Amalekites and the people of the East would come up against them. Then they would encamp against them and destroy the produce of the earth as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep nor ox nor donkey.'

Here, the power of the enemy that comes against you is symbolized by the Midianites who came against Israel at that time. Whenever Israel had sown, the enemy would wreak havoc.

Judges 6:5-6 (NKJV) says, 'For they would come up with their livestock and their tents, coming in as numerous as locusts; both they and their camels were without number; And they would enter the land to destroy it. So Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord.'

The locusts here can speak of the power of darkness that tries to devour and destroy God's people's works. And what happened to Israel? Israel was greatly impoverished. And that's when they cried out to the Lord.

Are you in a same situation as the Israelites those days, and you are faced with all those works of darkness or oppression coming against you? And you are saying "Enough is enough!"

Judges 6:7 (NKJV) says, 'And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried out to the Lord because of the Midianites...'

Maybe you have been facing some challenges or the oppression by the enemy at the moment. It may be your health situation, your financial situation, your career situation, your ministry situation, your business situation, or your family problems. Whatever it may be, take heart. The Lord is with you. The Lord is giving you the anointing today to overcome!

I want to declare in Jesus' name that you shall see your deliverance and victory, even as you stand up, rise up, and receive the warrior anointing from the Lord today!

Judges 6:11-12 (NKJV) says, 'Now the Angel of the Lord came and sat under the terebinth tree which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the Midianites. And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him (Gideon), and said to him, "The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!"'

Even as the people of God cried out to the Lord, the Lord answered. The same it is with you. The Lord is here to answer you. The Lord is not nowhere. The Lord is now here. See the word 'Now'? And the Lord is saying to you right now, "The Lord is with you, you mighty man (or woman) of valor!"

What is the word 'valor' here? This word is 'khahyil' in Hebrew. It speaks of 'bravery, strength, and efficiency, like a warrior'. So, when the anointing of the Lord has come upon you, you will have this valor! You will have this supernatural bravery, strength, wisdom, favor, and authority, like that of a warrior! Now remember you are not fighting flesh and blood. You are coming against the power of darkness, all those works or words of the enemy that come against you to try to oppress and destroy you.

How about the name 'Gideon'? 'Gideon' simply means 'Warrior, Feller, Destroyer'. 'Feller' as in to fell the work of the enemy. This word 'Gideon' comes from the Hebrew word 'Gada', meaning 'to cut off, to cut down, to break in pieces'.

So, people of God, when you receive the warrior anointing today, you have the authority to cut off, to cut down, and to break in pieces all those works or words of darkness that come against you!

So right now, take authority over the power of darkness that tries to oppress or destroy you, whatever your 'Midianite' situation may be. If you are one of those who have said "Enough is enough!" of all those 'bullying' by the enemy, then right now, receive the power to cut off, to cut down, and to break in pieces the power of the enemy that come against you! Hallelujah!

Do not miss this time and season. This is your time to receive the anointing and the new authority from the Lord! You will rise up to be who He wants you to be, and to be who He has ordained you to be!

Judges 6:14 (NKJV) says, 'Then the Lord turned to him (Gideon) and said, "Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?"'

Indeed, the Lord is sending you forth to fulfill all that He has purposed for you. So, go with this anointing today. Do not look back. Do not look at your past. Just look ahead. And you are going to see many greater days ahead of you!

The word 'sent' here is 'shalach' in Hebrew, and it can mean 'to appoint, to shoot forth, to set things forth, to stretch out hand'. It means the Lord's hand is upon your hand. The Lord's outstretched hand is mighty and powerful, and He works miracles, signs and wonders. And because His outstretched hand is with your hand, is there anything (or anyone) in this world that you should be afraid of? No!

So, fear not, because the Lord's hand is with you, and He is sending you forth, He is shooting you forth, and His anointing goes with you! He will set things in order for you, and He will set things forth for you! Because it is the Lord who has appointed you for such a time as this!

With this anointing, there was a change of identity for Gideon. The same it is for your life as well. You are never the same again. With this new identity, you have the new authority that comes from the Lord, and not from man. Walk therefore in this new authority that the Lord has given to you. And you'll be sure to see your deliverance and victory, just as Gideon did! Hallelujah!

A time to declare the goodness of God!

The Lord says: "This is the time to declare the goodness of God, in spite of all the challenges or problems that you see in this world."

Beloved of God, whatever your situation may be, and whatever your challenges, problems or issues that you may be facing at the moment, the Lord wants you to declare the goodness of God over your life. You are going to see a huge difference. Things are going to start turning around for you!

By the way, we are not teaching you to be in denial of any problem or issue that you may be facing on earth. But we are teaching in spite of all these, you can remember the goodness of God and you can declare the goodness of God!

It means if you have nothing good to say, just say of the goodness of God, just speak of the goodness of God, and praise the Lord instead. Remember Proverbs 18:21 says, 'Death and life are in the power of the tongue...' So choose life! Choose to speak God's words! Choose to speak what God says!

Can I declare to you right now that you are going to experience and see some pleasant surprises soon? Yes, receive this by faith. Just don't try to figure out how it's going to happen. But the Lord will make it happen.

Let's get back to the goodness of God. I'm going to declare to you some Bible verses on the goodness of God. You can declare it together.

First and foremost, my favorite, is Psalm 34:8 (NKJV) that says, 'Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!' I've taught you about this word 'good' in Hebrew, 'towb', some time ago. So I'm not going to repeat it. But I'm going to share with you by revelation in plain English what does it mean by 'the Lord is good'. But before that, let's go to the next Bible verse.

Another one of my all-time favorite Bible verse is Psalm 23:6 (NKJV) that says, 'Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.' Let's believe that as a beloved of God, surely, certainly; not maybe, but surely goodness and mercy shall follow you some days of your life? No, the Bible says all the days of your life! It means not even one day is forgotten by God all throughout your life! Do you see that?

This is another wonderful Bible verse on the goodness of God. It's Psalm 27:13 (NKJV) that says, 'I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.' You see, not only you remember the goodness of God and declare the goodness of God, but you also believe the goodness of God! You know what, many Christians do not experience much of the goodness of God simply because they do not believe fully. They doubt about the goodness of God. But as for you, you fully believe. Believing, you shall receive. And you are going to start seeing exactly that happening in your life. It will be translated into your everyday life right before your eyes. Amen!

Next Bible verse is Exodus 34:6 (NKJV) that says, 'And the Lord passed before him (Moses) and proclaimed, "The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering and abounding in goodness and truth...' Here, the Lord is showing to us that He is abounding in goodness, and not just in truth. Indeed He is a good God! So, no matter what happens around you, or no matter what happens in your past, in your life, nothing takes away the truth that the Lord's goodness is abounding in your life right now. And all things will work together for good to those who love Him.

I know some of you may be asking: "Then why did this happen to me?" or "Why did that happen to me?" Let's not look behind you. Let's not look at that past. The past is past. Let the bygones be bygones. But the Lord wants you to look forward and look ahead right now. Yes indeed, it's like a morning dew. It's fresh. It's new. Look forward to the many new things in your life. Look forward to the many good things in your life. And that's what God wants you to see your life at the moment.

As I've written just now, I wanted to share with you in plain English what does 'the goodness of God' mean. Here it is. The goodness of God shows that He wants to bring joy and blessings to us. Not just that, He is a generous God who will not withhold any good thing from us. In other words, God is good, just like a good father. A good father will always want to bring joy and blessings to his children. A good father will always be generous to give us good things. He will not withhold any good thing from us. And what more the Lord who is the Heavenly Father, Abba Father, our Daddy in heaven!

So beloved of God, don't let the devil talk you out of this! Every time the devil or somebody tries to cause you to doubt the goodness of God, always look back to the Word of God! Just like how Jesus responded to the devil, Jesus said, "It is written..." So, always go back to what God says, and not what the devil says or what man says. "It is written..." Look back to the Word of God! Because the Word of God is the Word of truth! Amen!

Our Abba Father in heaven is a Good Father! Somebody say, "Good Father!" It doesn't matter what people say about who our God is, but as far as you and I are concerned, our Abba Father in heaven is a Good Father! Because the Bible says so!

Prayer: "Father God, we thank You for being a Good Father to us. We thank You for You always work all things together for good for us. We thank You for seeing us as precious and worthy of Your love. We thank You for how You sent Jesus to die for us on the cross, so we may have life, and have it more abundantly. There are so many reasons to thank You, Father. We receive Your love today. We receive all the good that You want to give to us today. We receive all this with gladness of heart. In Jesus' name. Amen."

Take heed and stand firm!

Sometimes the Lord would give me dreams or visions, and then accompanied by prophetic words or words for the time and season. But sometimes the Lord would just put in my heart a certain chapter in the Bible. Today is like that.

1 Kings chapter 13 is what the Lord wants me to share today. This is one of the most bizarre and unusual stories in the Scripture. But the lessons or principles derived from it is so important, especially if you are a minister of God or you are doing ministry. However, this applies also if you are in the business or commercial world.

1 Kings 13:1-3 says, 'And behold, a man of God went from Judah to Bethel by the word of the Lord, and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. Then he cried out against the altar by the word of the Lord, and said, "O altar, altar! Thus says the Lord: 'Behold, a child, Josiah by name, shall be born to the house of David; and on you he shall sacrifice the priests of the high places who burn incense on you; and men's bones shall be burned on you.'" And he (this man of God) gave a sign the same day, saying, "This is the sign which the Lord has spoken: Surely the altars shall split apart and the ashes on it shall be poured out."'

Here, this man of God rebuked Jeroboam, the king of the northern kingdom of Israel at that time. This man of God pronounced judgment against the altar, which has been used by King Jeroboam for his idolatrous practices.

Now, who is this man of God? What we know here is he's from Judah, which is the southern kingdom of the previously united kingdom of Israel. By that time, the kingdom was already split into the northern kingdom and the southern kingdom. So, this man of God is from the southern kingdom (Judah), whereas King Jeroboam was from the northern kingdom.

What's the name of this man of God? Interestingly, he's anonymous. Yet this prophet of the Lord was used in an important way by the Lord, even though his name was not mentioned. This only shows that one does not have to be known or famous to be greatly used by the Lord.

For the record, in cross-reference, 2 Kings 23:15 says, 'Moreover the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin, had made, both that altar and the high place he (Josiah) broke down. And he (Josiah) burned the high place and crushed it to powder, and burned the wooden image.'

So the prophecy by that man of God in 1 Kings 13 came to pass in 2 Kings 23 many generations later, in the days of King Josiah, the king of Judah, who was one of those good kings who wanted to restore worship before the true God, YHWH.

Let's continue with 1 Kings 13:4-5, 'So it came to pass when King Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, who cried out against the altar in Bethel, that he stretched out his hand from the altar, saying, "Arrest him!" Then his hand (King Jeroboam's hand), which he stretched out toward him, withered, so that he could not pull it back to himself. The altar also was split apart and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the Lord.'

So you see, this man of God was authentic and genuinely used by the Lord to work signs mightily, even though there was no mention of his name in the Scripture. And he actually pronounced judgment against the altar, which was actually a rebuke to King Jeroboam. King Jeroboam, feeling threatened, then commanded for this man of God to be arrested. And that's when King Jeroboam's hand was withered. Not only that, God caused the altar to be split apart, and ashes poured out from the altar.

1 Kings 13:6 says, 'Then the king answered and said to the man of God, "Please entreat the favor of the Lord your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored to me."'

So the man of God entreated the Lord, and the king's hand was restored to him, and became as before. The Lord heard the prayer of this man of God.

1 Kings 13:7-10 says, 'Then the king said to the man of God, "Come home with me and refresh yourself, and I will give you a reward." But the man of God said to the king, "If you were to give me half your house, I would not go in with you; nor would I eat bread nor drink water in this place. For so it was commanded me by the word of the Lord, saying, "You shall not eat bread nor drink water nor return by the same way you came."'

As you can see, King Jeroboam wanted to give this man of God an invitation and a reward. But this man of God declined. Why? Based on the forewarning given by the Lord beforehand. Well, to accept Jeroboam's invitation would have been to fellowship with idolatry.

So far, what can we learn here? This man of God chose to heed what God says more than even what the king says. Indeed, what God says is more important than what man says. Now, don't get me wrong. This is not to say you are not to submit to authority, or submit to one another. But there is a place when God wants us to do something, or when God has already forewarned us not to do something, we better heed, no matter what kind of enticement or reward that man can give to us.

Do not allow yourself to compromise what God has spoken to you. Do not allow yourself to give in to any form of temptation or enticement offered by man. When God has already said no, it's better to heed what God has said, even if the offers by someone of higher stature or someone in high position seem to be tempting.

When God says no about something, or when God forewarns us about something, that's because God sees further, and knows what's ahead, and knows all the pitfalls ahead for us to avoid.

Let's continue with 1 Kings 13:11-14, 'Now an old prophet dwelt in Bethel, and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel; they also told their father the words which he had spoken to the king. And their father said to them, "Which way did he go?" For his sons had seen which way the man of God went who came from Judah. Then he said to his sons, "Saddle the donkey for me." So they saddled the donkey for him; and he rode on it, and went after the man of God and found him sitting under an oak. Then he said to him, "Are you the man of God who came from Judah?" And he said, "I am."'

There's this old prophet in Bethel who heard about what this younger man of God had done. And see what 1 Kings 13:15-17 says, 'Then this old prophet said to this younger man of God, "Come home with me and eat bread." And he said, "I cannot return with you nor go in with you; neither can I eat bread nor drink water with you in this place. For I have been told by the word of the Lord, 'You shall not eat bread nor drink water there nor return by going the way you came.'"'

Now, the very same answer given by this man of God to this old prophet, just as he said to King Jeroboam. Initially, this younger man of God refused the invitation, because he knew that God had specifically told him to return to Judah without accepting any further invitation, and to return via a different way.

Speaking about job done, and it's time to return home. Once a job is done in a time and season, the Lord wants you to move on. But if one would not heed what God says to move on, and if he still lingers, there will be pitfalls, there will be danger, and he will get stuck. And true enough this happened to this younger man of God.

1 Kings 13:18-19 says, 'So this old prophet said to this younger man of God, "I too am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying, 'Bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.'" And there's a bracket there: (He was lying to him.)

This old prophet was actually lying to this young prophet, and alas, this young man of God went back with this old prophet, ate bread in his house and drank water. Now you see this old prophet had the audacity to lie just to get what he wanted.

So, what can you learn here? Just because some people, even some people who claim to be minister of God or prophet of the Lord claim this and claim that, and say it's from the Lord, it doesn't mean you take it hook, line and sinker. Sense in your spirit first. That's why it's so important to be sensitized in your spirit man. Be open and yielded to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will give you the peace if it's a yes, and no peace if it's a no. So, sense first. Do not just agree to anything and take whatever people claim and say, even if that person claims to be a minister of God or prophet of the Lord.

Now again, don't get me wrong. This is not to teach you not to submit to one another. But this is to teach you to be wise. There can be lots of temptations and enticement, especially when you start to become more and more known by people around you, or  more and more known by people who are in high position or by other fellow ministers of God.

This old prophet was trying to persuade the younger man of God to change his course from doing exactly what God had told him. And this time the younger prophet gave in. He did not give in to King Jeroboam, but he gave in this time. If you continue to read 1 Kings chapter 13, you would know that's the beginning of the end for this man of God who was so greatly used by the Lord prior to this encounter with the old prophet from Bethel.

Beloved of God, I'm not saying we will all end up like this man of God. Not at all. But what I'm saying is be very careful when you start to get more and more well known in the world. If there's any invitation, check with the Holy Spirit first. The Holy Spirit knows all things. The Holy Spirit will never lead you into trouble and pitfalls. The Holy Spirit will always lead you to the perfect will of God. So, let the Holy Spirit guide you. Let the Holy Spirit direct you. Wherever the Holy Spirit turns, you follow. Like God turning the river. Just flow with the river of the Holy Spirit. And that's how you have safety. It will save you from lots and lots of troubles or pitfalls.

This is my message for you today. The Lord has put in my heart to release this to you today, for whatever reason only He knows. But I just want to obey and release what He wants me to release in each time and season. Amen.

Let your enemies be scattered!

The Lord says: "This is the time to declare that all your enemies be scattered! This is the time to declare that the Lord your God is stepping in and taking charge over your situation!"

For some of you who are battle-weary and you have been facing wave after wave of challenges and problems in your life, the Lord is here to encourage you. The Lord is saying that He is stepping in and taking charge over your situation.

Whatever your situation may be at the moment, fear not! Because when you allow Him to step into your life and take charge, no enemy can withstand Him!

Psalm 68:1-2 says, 'Let God arise; Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; As wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.'

This psalm is a proclamation of God's triumph over the enemies. The enemies will have no choice but to be scattered. The enemies will have no choice but to flee.

Most Bible scholars agree that Psalm 68, a psalm of David, is connected with the coming of the ark of the covenant into Jerusalem during David's reign as king. What does this ark of the covenant symbolize? This ark speaks of the glory of the Lord that goes before us. But it can also speak of Jesus, a 'picture' of Jesus Himself. So, when the ark of the covenant was being brought into Jerusalem (i.e. into its rightful place), it is a 'picture' of Jesus entering into your life and taking over your situation!

Therefore, this is an ideal psalm for you to proclaim in this time and season to scatter all those enemies that come against you, and to proclaim that God is in charge!

What is this word 'scatter' here? The definition of 'scatter' here, according to Cambridge Dictionary, is 'to (cause to) move far apart in different directions'. In the context here, 'scattering the enemies' can therefore be defined as 'dispersing or breaking the power of darkness against you'. This power of darkness may be a curse against you, a conspiracy against you, a plot against you, or even poison words against you. And you know what? When God goes forth together with you, no enemy can stand against you. They are all scattered!

In cross-reference, Deuteronomy 28:7 says, 'The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.'

You may be asking what does it mean by 'seven ways'? Does that literally mean 'seven ways'? By the way, the number 'seven' in Hebrew is a number for 'perfection'. In the context here, it speaks of the enemies being utterly (yes, that's the word, 'utterly') scattered, utterly broken, and utterly defeated by the Lord your God. Like the roar of the lion in the jungle and all the others have to flee. So, people of God, have this hope and assurance that no matter what the enemy may do against you or how the enemy may come against you, be it spiritually or physically, none of these can withstand the might and the power of the Lion of Judah, the Lord your God. Hallelujah!

Another cross-reference is Numbers 10:35 that says, 'So it was, when the ark (the ark of the covenant) set out, that Moses said: "Rise up, O Lord! Let Your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate You flee before You."'

As Moses and the people marched towards the Promised Land, the ark of the covenant led the way. The same it is for you and I at the moment. As we march towards our God-given destiny in life, let Jesus lead the way. Let Him step into your life and let Him lead you every step of the way, especially in this dangerous and perilous world at the moment.

You know what? When Jesus rose up (i.e. when He was resurrected), all His enemies were scattered! And if you are in Christ, His victory has become your victory!

So people of God, let Jesus lead the way and pave the way for you! Your part is to follow His way and His path. Because the battle is not yours. The battle is the Lord's. You can be at rest, no matter what your situation may be at the moment, knowing that the Lord is fighting your battles. And when the Lord fights, the Lord will surely triumph! All the enemies shall be scattered! That's what the Scripture says! Hallelujah!
