A new cycle is coming!

The Lord says:

"A new cycle is coming for many of My people in the coming months. This is a season many of My people are seeing a new page turning in their lives. Do not be afraid of embracing the new that I have shown you. Look to Me and put your trust in Me."

The Lord says further:

"For some, I will even show you dreams to guide you and lead you. I will empower and enable you for what is to come. For some, you are moving on from one stage of life to another stage of life. For some, you are transiting into a new venture and opportunity. For some, you are being released from the old cycle into the new cycle that you have not known before."

There's a cycle and season in everything. When the Lord moves, you move. When the Lord's wave comes, you ride on it, like a surfer. That's how you move on in life. Ride on the wave of the Holy Spirit. Don't get stuck in your past.

Indeed, there is more coming in your life going forward! Good things I mean. Not bad things. He will give you the grace to embrace the new. He will give you the grace to embrace change. For many people, it's not so easy to embrace change. But sometimes, the Lord leads us to change, so we will not get stuck in life. So, contrary to what some people think, change isn't necessarily bad. Many changes are good.

Let's go to one example of someone who knew his time and cycle in life. There are many examples in the Bible, of course. But for today, let's look at Elisha. Elisha knew his time.

2 Kings 2:5-8 (NKJV) says, 'Now the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came to Elisha and said to him, "Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?" So he answered, "Yes, I know; keep silent!" Then Elijah said to him, "Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to the Jordan." But Elisha said, "As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!" So the two of them went on. Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water, and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground.'

Elisha has been faithful in his old cycle. Elisha has been a very keen learner. Elisha has been watching how Elijah did things. But there came a time when a new cycle was about to begin.

2 Kings 2:9-11 (NKJV) says, 'And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, "Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?" Elisha said, "Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me." So he said, "You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you. But if not, it shall not be so." That's what Elijah said to Elisha. Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.'

Here, you see that Elijah's time on earth had been fulfilled. As for Elisha, a new cycle was about to begin. As Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven, a new cycle began for Elisha. Now, we thank God for Elijah. Without Elijah, Elisha cannot be the Elisha that we see in the Scripture. It was from where he was in this old cycle that he moved on into his new cycle. Notice that many things are caught and not just taught. Elisha eventually received his double portion.

Like Elisha, you too can walk into a new cycle and embrace the new that the Lord has for you. You can cherish the memory of the past. But when the Lord says it's time to move on, you move on. You will never go wrong if you flow with His time and season for you.

Like Elisha, it's time for you to be who God wants you to be in this new time and season. There is a release right now. Walk in all that the Lord has spoken today. Keep looking to the Lord. He will show you and lead you, every step of the way. Exciting days are ahead of you!

What's your part? Your part is to stay in tune with the Holy Spirit. Walk with the Lord closely. Continue to eat of His Word and drink of His Spirit. He will know how to lead you, guide you, even give you dreams when you are asleep at night. So, fear not. Because the Lord will always show you before He acts.

Let us pray:

"O Lord God, we thank You for Your prophetic words today. Indeed, we want to walk in the new cycle in our lives. We do not want to be afraid of embracing the new that You want to show us. We look to You and put our trust in You. We even ask of You to show us dreams to guide us and lead us. We thank You for a release from the old cycle into the new cycle in our lives. And for this new cycle, You have spoken that it is good. We therefore thank You in advance for the many more great and wonderful things that You are going to show us going forward. In Jesus' name. Amen."

A time to ride the wave of the Holy Spirit!

I heard and released these prophetic words recently:
"This is your time to ride the wave of My Holy Spirit! Get yourselves ready, and move with Me! For I am imparting, and I am teaching My people to be in tune with My wave! Catch My wave, and you'll begin to see many things I've wanted you to see!"

As I was contemplating on the prophetic words above, I couldn't help but to imagine a surfer riding the wave in the ocean. Before a surfer can ride the wave, there's got to be wave in the first place. So, let's study a little on the dynamics of ocean waves:
1. Wind causes energy (like how windmill works).
2. Ocean waves get their start when wind blows the open ocean.
3. Ocean waves are therefore 'energy moving through water'.
Note: 'Dynamics' is defined as 'scientific study of the forces that produce movement'.

As you can see above, without the wind, there would be no wave. The same it is in the spiritual realm. If the 'wind' represents 'the Holy Spirit', then the 'wave' represents 'the move of the Holy Spirit'. Who then, is the 'surfer'? You and I, 'the people of the Lord'!

Indeed, the Lord is moving, and the wave is coming! For some of you, a new cycle has begun, whether in ministry, or in some other areas of life! Get yourselves ready, and move with Him! As He moves, you move; and you'll begin to see many things He's wanted you to see!

Sharon (my wife) released these words recently:
"There is a ministry cycle with different stages for everyone. To some, a new cycle has begun. To some others, it is moving from one stage to another in the same cycle. It is an elevation from where you are! Some of you will begin to venture into what you have been gifted and trained. Some of you will rise up to mentor others. Some of you will start working on leaving your legacy."

She then released further:
"Some of My people will only go through one ministry cycle but some will go through many ministry cycles. Do not worry about the span of your ministry stages and cycles. Trust Me, and you will not miss your time and season. Follow My instructions, you will enjoy and fulfill your assigned stages and cycles."

People of God, what is your 'time' now? Elijah knew his time. Elisha knew his time too.
Let's read what 2 Kings 2:1-4 say, 'And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. Then Elijah said to Elisha, "Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel." But Elisha said, "As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!" So they went down to Bethel. Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, "Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?" And he said, "Yes, I know; keep silent!" Then Elijah said to him, "Elisha, stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Jericho." But he said, "As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!" So they came to Jericho'.

2 Kings 2:5-8 then say, 'Now the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came to Elisha and said to him, "Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?" So he answered, "Yes, I know; keep silent!" Then Elijah said to him, "Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to the Jordan." But he said, "As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!" So the two of them went on. Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground'.

And 2 Kings 2:9-11 say, 'And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, "Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?" Elisha said, "Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me." So he said, "You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so." Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven'.

As Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven, a new cycle began for Elisha. Notice many things are caught, and not just taught. Elisha received his double portion. It was an 'elevation' from where he was in his old cycle.

People of God, that 'Elisha' time has come for many of you who have been 'hidden' by the Lord all these while. There is a release. There is a wave. Begin to ride the wave that's coming! Don't miss this time and season! For the Lord is raising many new generals, majors, captains, and lieutenants that will bring shockwaves in the camp of the enemy. I declare that you are part of this great move of the Lord that's coming. Stay faithful, keep looking to the Lord, and He will bring it to pass. Amen!

A time to ask of God's wisdom!

James 1:5-6 (NKJV): If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of sea driven and tossed by the wind.

The word ‘wisdom’ here is ‘sophia’ in Greek, from the word ‘sophos’ which means ‘to be wise, to be clear, to have clear understanding of something (on what to do, or how to go about doing it)’. In short, 'wisdom' simply means 'knowing what to do, and how to go about (on something)'.

To 'ask in faith' is to 'ask with a believing heart that you'll receive'.

These are the words I heard from the Lord for this time and season:
"Ask! This is the time to ask! Don’t be afraid to ask! Don’t be shy to ask! Ask of My wisdom, and I will give to you."

Then, I heard further:
"Many of My people are entering a new season, a new cycle in their lives this month. Like a new bicycle is being given, and the old bicycle is being put away. There will be fresh new wisdom. There will be fresh new grace. And I will teach My people if they would ask!"

Isn't that what Solomon (the wisest man on earth) did when he first became king? (i.e. as he entered a new season, or a new cycle in his life)

Notice ‘wisdom’ was the first thing Solomon asked!

2 Chronicles 1:7-10 (NKJV) says, 'On that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, "Ask! What shall I give to you?" And Solomon said to God, "You have shown great mercy to David my father, and have made me king in his place. Now, O Lord God, let Your promise to David my father be established, for You have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of Yours?"'

And see how God responded to Solomon.

In 2 Chronicles 1:11-12 (NKJV), He said, "Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life – but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king – wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor shall any after you have the like."

Today, just as in Solomon's days, He is more than willing to grant you wisdom too, if you look to Him and ask of Him.

And why is wisdom so important?

Proverbs 3:13-18 (NKJV) says, 'Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding; for her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, and her gain than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her. Length of days is in her right hand, in her left hand riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who retain her'.

You see, if you have wisdom (from above), you will have all these too - happiness, length of days, riches and honor, pleasantness, peace, tree of life! The Word of God says so!

No wonder Proverbs 4:7 (NKJV) later says, 'Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding'. The word 'principal' here is 'reshiyth' in Hebrew, which means 'the first (in place, time, order, or rank), the chief, the beginning, the firstfruit', from the word 'rosh' meaning 'the head, the forefront, the captain'.

The keys to having His wisdom as you walk in this new season is to fear the Lord (i.e. having deep reverence for Him and His Word), and a heart that remains humble and teachable (i.e. willing to be corrected) before Him (read Proverbs 9:5-12).

As a believer in the New Covenant, know also that Jesus has become for you wisdom from God (see 1 Corinthians 1:30), and He is the wisdom of God (see 1 Corinthians 1:24) - the principal thing (the first, the chief, the beginning, the firstfruit) - in your life. Allow Him to do His work in you and through you this new season. Amen.
