A time for new direction and new strategies!

Words of the Lord for this time and season:

"There’s a time of re-direction for many of My people. There’s a time of re-strategizing for many of My people. For those who humble themselves and are yielded to Me, I will show My direction and guidance. I will know how to show you a way, even a way to prosper in times like these. You will not be lost if you look to Me and put your trust in Me. Just as I remember My covenant with you, remember your covenant with Me."

These are the prophetic words for this second half of 2021:

"Further changes are coming in the spiritual realm. Get ready! Many things are going to happen suddenly in the spirit. For those who are yielded to Me and humble themselves before Me, suddenly you are going to prosper! Suddenly you are going to experience an increase, be it in favor, in wisdom, or in anointing! Suddenly you are going to experience supernatural healing, if you need any! As long as you are yielded to Me and remain humble before Me, there will be a new authority in your life. The enemy that has tried to distract you from your calling and destiny in life will not be able to touch you, because I have sent a fire wall of protection over you. Be sensitive to My Spirit. As I move, you move; as I stop, you stop; like the tabernacle those days in Moses' time, following the glory cloud."

People of God, as you cross into the second half of this year, fear not about what is to come in your future. Keep looking to the Lord and keep putting your trust in the Lord, and you'll see all that the Lord has spoken today come to pass in your life.

If you have gone through a 'blip' in your life recently, don't look back. Learn from the past, correct what you need to correct in your life, and move forward. Like Joshua who was destined to see great conquests and victory as he entered the promised land (Joshua 1:1-3), so will you be. Only be strong and be very courageous! (Joshua 1:7)

Even while in the promised land, Joshua and the people of Israel did have a 'blip' when they were defeated by the people of Ai (Joshua 7:1-5). But the Lord then said to Joshua, "Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face?" (Joshua 7:10) 

After sanctifying themselves (Joshua 7:13), the Lord then said to Joshua, "Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; take all the people of war with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, his people, his city, and his land." (Joshua 8:1) 

And that was when the Lord gave Joshua a new direction and a new strategy to conquer Ai (Joshua 8:4-8). And conquer they did this time!

You see, God is a God of covenant. Just as He remembered what He had spoken to Joshua and what He had promised Joshua, He remembers what He has spoken to you and what He has promised you! Even though there was a 'blip', as long as Joshua and the people of Israel turned to the Lord and 'clear what needs to be cleared', the Lord will see to it that He will be with them in their conquests!

So, be encouraged even if you've had a 'blip' in your life recently. The Lord hasn't forgotten you or forsaken you. 

People of God, this is an important time to remember your covenant with God. Because when everything else on earth falls apart, His covenant with you will not fall apart. This covenant is the very foundation of who you are in Him, and as long as you remember and hold on to this covenant He has made with you (through the blood of Jesus shed for you on the cross), nothing in this world will be able to shake you!

Why is your covenant with God so important?

Let me explain in the simplest form. In Abraham's days, when two families (or two tribes) made a covenant together, they gave to one another all that they had and all that they represented. It means these two families were no longer two, but one. The two families bound themselves together in blood agreements to be a strength when the other is weak. It means if family A is weak, family B will be a strength. And if family B is weak, family A will be a strength. That's how together, they were both strong! 

But in this covenant between you and God, it's even better! Why? Because God has no weaknesses. Only you have. So, when you have this blood covenant with God (through the blood of Jesus shed for you on the cross), it means He will always be a strength to you! He will always be a strength to you in your time of weaknesses or in your time of trouble! 

And if He is with you, who can be against you?

Let the shackles be broken!

Words from the Lord:

"Let the shackle be broken in My anointing! Let My people be set free from their bondages and oppression! Even the bondages in their minds and of the enemy’s influences! For whatever that is not of Me shall be destroyed in the anointing!"

Oppression be broken! Depression be broken! Obsession be broken! Every sorrow be gone! Every yoke be destroyed! And every burden be lifted away!

People of God, in a time when the enemy is trying so hard to put a 'shackle' or 'chain' on you, this is a time to receive His anointing to set you free! Nothing (of the enemy) shall by any means be able to stop God's purposes from being fulfilled in your life!

Further words from the Lord:

"And I will be like the overflowing river that washes away every work of the enemy and make an utter end of the work of the enemy! I am a God of covenant, and I remember My covenant with My people! Therefore, don’t allow yourself to be held back from chasing your God-given dreams. Focus on Me and focus on running towards the prize of the upward call of God!"

Nahum 1:7-9 (NKJV) says, 'The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him. But with an overflowing flood He will make an utter end of its place, and darkness will pursue His enemies. What do you conspire against the Lord? He will make an utter end of it...'

By the way, 'Nahum' ('Nekhuwm' in Hebrew) means 'the comfort or consolation (of the Lord)'; from the word 'nakham', meaning 'to comfort, to ease, to console'. 

Even though the context of this book of Nahum is for the people of Judah those days, this message applies to you too, because you too are God's covenant people - through Christ! 

God used prophet Nahum to proclaim for His people 'the shackles are broken', and to proclaim the destruction of Nineveh (the capital city of Assyrian empire at that time), which was notorious for its cruelty, violence, idolatry and pride. This book of Nahum is therefore a message of comfort and consolation to God’s people in a time when they were living under the cruelty and bondages of the Assyrians those days.

Nahum 1:13 (Expanded) says, 'Now I will free you from their control [break his yoke from you] and tear away your chains [shackles].'

Indeed, the time is now for your 'shackles be broken', and you are being set free to be who God wants you to be!

Zechariah 9:9-12 (NKJV) says, 'Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey. I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem; The battle bow shall be cut off. He shall speak peace to the nations; His dominion shall be 'from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth'. As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit. Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you.'

Not only your 'shackles are being broken' in the anointing, the Lord also wants you to remember your covenant with Him through the blood of Jesus Christ shed for you on the cross. When everything else on earth falls apart, the Lord wants you to know His covenant with you will not fall apart. His covenant with you cannot be broken. This covenant is the very foundation of who you are in Him. As long as you remember and hold on to this covenant He has made with you the moment you received Him as your personal Savior and Lord, nothing in this world will be able to shake you!

I have explained the name 'Nahum' just now. Now, I move on to the name 'Zechariah' ('Zekar Yah' in Hebrew), which means 'the Lord remembers, or the Lord has remembered'. You know what this means? The Lord remembers you, His beloved! You are blessed because He remembers the covenant He made with you! 

Why is this covenant so important? 

And what are the promises in His covenant with you?

- He saves you and rescues you! (Zechariah 8:7)

- He makes a way of escape for you in times of trouble! (Zechariah 9:11) 

- He causes you to be a blessing! (Zechariah 8:13)

- He prospers you and gives you increase! (Zechariah 8:12)

- He restores double to you! (Zechariah 9:12)

- He gives you peace in the midst of turbulence! (Zechariah 9:10) 

- He sends a fire wall of protection over you! (Zechariah 2:5)

Therefore, fear not! Because you are a people of His covenant! And whatever happens in this world or whatever the enemy tries to do, if God is for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31)

Keys to your 'acceleration' in this new season

I released these prophetic words from the Lord as we crossed the half-way mark of this year 2016:
"As you connect with Me, there will be an acceleration in your life! You will see many things begin to speed up, especially in areas where you have been 'prisoners of hope'! This is a key time to seek Me afresh and anew for what is ahead!"

The word 'acceleration' is defined in Oxford Dictionary as 'increase in speed, make something move faster (or happen earlier)'.

What is the meaning of 'prisoners of hope' then? This expression is found in Zechariah 9:11-12, and it means 'those who have been waiting and waiting for an answer in hope (to their prayers)', or 'those who have been waiting and waiting but with no answer'.

Most of us would agree that 'waiting time' is never easy. The Bible says, 'Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life' (Proverbs 13:12). One illustration is like a prisoner waiting and waiting for the time to be set free from the prison, when one hour seems to be like a year, and one day seems to be like eternity!

But here's a piece of good news for you! The Lord is setting many 'prisoners of hope' free in this coming new season!

In Zechariah 9:11-12, the Lord says, "As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit. Return to the stronghold (fortress), you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you."

Indeed, this is a time to remember your covenant with the Lord and return to Him who is your fortress! (Psalm 91:2) And watch how He is going to bring restoration to you, even double-fold!

Zechariah chapter 9 is a key chapter in this time and season of the Lord.

In Zechariah 9:9, the Lord says,
"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation.
Lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt (young male), the foal (young one) of a donkey."

Notice I put the key words above in bold, because these are the 3 keys to your acceleration in this new season:
1. Release sound of praise at all times.
2. Remember and return to your covenant.
3. Humble yourself in all lowliness.

Release sound of praise at all times ("Rejoice greatly...")
Sound of praise will connect you to the Lord. Therefore, praise the Lord at all times, and never allow the wrong sound or atmosphere (e.g. murmuring) to pull you down! Psalm 89:15-18 says, 'Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound (of praise)! They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance. In Your name they rejoice all day long, and in Your righteousness they are exalted. For You are the glory of their strength, and in Your favor our horn (strength) is exalted. For our shield belongs to the Lord...'

Remember and return to your covenant ("Behold, your King...")
Unlike an earthly 'contract', a covenant is not to be rescinded, and cannot be broken. This covenant between the Lord and you (when you opened your heart to receive Him as your personal Savior and Lord) is a covenant made with His blood shed on the cross for you. As a 'covenanted person', know that no evil can touch you or overwhelm you. His blood is effective in saving you and protecting you. In cross-reference, read Psalm 89:3-9, Psalm 89:28-29, and Psalm 89:34-37.

Humble yourself in all lowliness ("Lowly...")
Pride is the reason for all contentions and strife (whether in a family, in church, or in a nation). Like Lucifer who 'lifted himself' above God, pride is 'thinking that one is better, or knows better than others' (Isaiah 14:12-15). Proverbs 13:10 says, 'By pride comes nothing but strife...' Proverbs 16:18-19 says, 'Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud'.
Indeed, those who are proud will be pulled down, and those who are humble will be lifted up. Jesus Himself is the epitome of humility and lowliness, and therefore He was exalted high above every name, 'that every knee should bow, and every tongue should confess that He is the Lord' (Philippians 2:8-11).
The Lord resists the proud, but gives grace (ability, supply) to the humble (1 Peter 5:5-6).
As a matter of fact, no one can pull down someone who has already gone down so low at the feet of Jesus!

Let's continue with Zechariah chapter 9.

In Zechariah 9:10, the Lord says, "I will cut off (take away) the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; the battle bow shall be cut off (broken)."

In cross-reference, Psalm 20:7 says, 'Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God...'

The word 'chariots' here (same as in Zechariah 9:10) is 'rekeb' in Hebrew, meaning 'cavalry (i.e. soldiers fighting on horseback or in armored vehicles)'. This speaks of 'human ability', instead of God's ability; whereas the word 'horses' here (same as in Zechariah 9:10) is from the Hebrew word 'soos', meaning 'leaping like a horse'. This speaks of 'human power', instead of God's power.

To understand Zechariah 9:10 better, it is good to learn the meaning of 'Ephraim' and 'Jerusalem' first. 'Ephraim' in Hebrew means 'double fruitfulness', and 'Jerusalem' in Hebrew means 'founded peaceful'. These are the promises of the Lord for those who are willing to humble themselves and heed His voice, instead of putting their trust in human ability or power.

In other words, to see 'double fruitfulness' and be 'founded peaceful' (i.e. to experience wholeness and wellness) in your life, look to the Lord, and trust in His ability and power, instead of your own. Zechariah 4:6-7 says, 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit...' Like the tower of Babel in the days of old (Genesis 11:4), every 'high thing' (prideful thing) built by men shall be 'pulled down' in this end of days.

Indeed, this is a time and season when you will see what Jesus has spoken in Matthew 5:3-10 coming to pass in every way:
"Blessed are the poor (humble) in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

A time of renewal and refreshing

2 Kings 23:4 (NKJV): And the king (Josiah) commanded Hilkiah the high priest, the priests of the second order, and the doorkeepers, to bring out of the temple of the Lord all the articles that were made for Baal, for Asherah, and for all the host of heaven (the gods of the Assyrians); and he burned them outside Jerusalem...

Anything on earth can be your 'idol'. An 'idol' doesn't necessarily have to be statues or carved images that one bows down to worship. An 'idol' can be something that you've been indulging in, or something that holds you back from walking in the perfect will of God (or receiving from the Lord).

So, what exactly is an 'idol'? An 'idol' is anything (or anyone) that takes the place of God in your life, and it can even be a certain emotional attachment with something (or somebody) that you are not supposed to be attached with. It can also be a certain past that you are not supposed to hang on to anymore. These, if not cleared, will hinder God's perfect will and God's grace from flowing freely in your life.

Just as in King Josiah's days, this is also a time of 'spring-cleaning' (even spiritual 'spring-cleaning') for many of God's people today!

I heard these words from the Lord recently:
"Clear the clutter! This is a time to clear whatever that has been holding you back! Even the past that has been holding you back!"

And then, I heard further:
"I am preparing My people for a time of renewal and refreshing. There will be a new outlook! There will be a new vigor! Many of My people have become entangled in this complicated world. Many of My people have become entangled in the many issues of life. This is a time to return to My rest. This is a time to clear what needs to clear, and I will help you if you would allow Me."

By the way, a 'clutter' is defined as 'disorderliness, mess; unnecessary (or unwanted) things lying about untidily'.

I am attracted to the words 'new outlook' here. You know what it means? Future prospects! In other words, as you clear the 'clutter' in any particular area of your life, you will begin to see 'future prospects' in that particular area of your life! Believe that the Lord will show you, and He will help you. His grace (ability, supply) is enough for you. This is a time to declare that your future is bright, and your prospect is bright!

I also heard these words for this time and season of the Lord:
"Allow Me to turn your 'disorderliness' into 'orderliness'. By your own strength, it may be impossible; but with Me, all things are possible. My grace is enough for you."

Let's look at the life of King Josiah now. 2 Kings 22:1-2 says, 'Josiah was eight years old when he became king,... And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the ways of his (fore)father David; he did not turn aside to the right hand or to the left'. And then, 2 Kings 22:3 says, 'Now it came to pass, in the eighteenth year of King Josiah, that the king sent Shaphan the scribe... to the house of the Lord...' Josiah meant it for the purpose of repairing the house of God which has been neglected for years.

Interestingly, the name 'Josiah' in Hebrew is 'YoshiYah', which means 'founded of Yah, or founded Yah'. In other words, he found the Lord, even in the midst of widespread idolatry in the land of Judah during his earlier years, and even though his grandfather (Manasseh) and father (Amon) had long forsaken the Lord (and entangled themselves with the 'idols' of the world). As a matter of fact, you are never too young or too old to find the Lord, and see Him using you (the way He used Josiah) to bring renewal and refreshing in the land you live in. Amen!

May a heart like Josiah be raised up in God's people today.

2 Kings 22:8-11 then says, 'Then Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, "I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the Lord." And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it... Now it happened, when the king (Josiah) heard the words of the Book of the Law, that he tore his clothes'.

With the Word of the Lord that he had heard, and with the conviction that the Lord had put in his heart, he began a great work of the Lord to clear the 'clutter' that had accumulated for generations before him.

And do you know what was the first and foremost thing written in the Bible that Josiah restored, renewed and refreshed? 2 Kings 23:21-23 says, 'Then the king (Josiah) commanded all the people, saying, "Keep the Passover to the Lord your God, as it is written in the Book of the Covenant." Such a Passover surely had never been held since the days of the judges who judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah. But in the eighteenth year of King Josiah this Passover was held before the Lord in Jerusalem'.

'Passover' here speaks of 'the renewal and refreshing of the covenant (that the Lord had first made with His people)'. In cross-reference, let's look at Exodus 12:1-2 that says, 'Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, "This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you."' Therefore, 'Passover' also signifies 'returning to the very beginning, your first love (the Lord), and reminding yourself of how the Lord had first saved you'.

In Exodus 12:5-13, the Lord then said, 'Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year... Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight. And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses... They shall eat the flesh on that night, roasted in fire... It is the Lord's Passover. For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt... Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt'.

As a believer in the New Covenant, know that Jesus has become your Passover Lamb when He died for you and His blood was shed for you on the cross some 2,000 years ago. It's a covenant made with His own blood (see also Isaiah 53:4-7, Romans 5:8-9).

I was praying the other day when I saw a vision of many new bottles of olive oil (never being used before, tightly-capped, not opened yet). Then, I saw the cap (caps) being opened by a pair of shining hands, and fresh olive oil being poured upon God's people's heads. I asked the Lord what all these meant, and then I began to understand. This is a time to receive renewal and refreshing from the Lord, like the fresh olive oil being poured upon God's people's heads! This is also a time for you to renew and refresh your covenant with the Lord again!

People of God, are there areas in your life that have become stale, dull or wearied, and you know you need a renewing and refreshing touch of the Lord all over again?

Isaiah 40:31 says, '...those who wait ('qavah' in Hebrew, meaning 'hope, collect, gather') on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint'. The word 'renew' here is 'chalaph' in Hebrew, which means 'to spring up'. Just imagine a dying plant being watered (and nourished), and then it springs up again.

Therefore, return to His rest, receive from Him, and let Him water (and nourish) you all over again. You'll be sure to 'spring up' with a new outlook and a new vigor, as you look forward to many more good days ahead. Amen!

The 'new' has replaced the 'old'

1 Samuel 1:24-25 (NKJV): 'Now when Hannah had weaned Samuel, she took him up with her, with three bulls, one ephah of flour, and a skin of wine, and brought him to the house of the Lord in Shiloh. And the child was young. Then they slaughtered a bull, and brought the child to Eli (the priest).' 

Samuel's ministry began with a sacrifice. It's a ministry full of the cross. The slaughtered bull is a 'picture' of Jesus being sacrificed on the cross, while the flour (to make bread) and the wine are 'pictures' of Jesus' body broken and blood shed on the cross. So, his ministry then was a 'picture' of the New Covenant that was to come!

If you read 1 Samuel chapters 1, 2 & 3, you'll see 'pictures' of how the New Covenant replaces the Old Covenant. Samuel represents the 'new' while Eli's sons (Hophni and Phinehas) represent the 'old'.

Let's look at the difference between Samuel and Eli's sons first. 'Samuel' means 'heard of God' in Hebrew, and he was born of Hannah, which means 'find grace/favor'. Today, as a believer in the New Covenant, you have also 'found grace/favor' because you are in Christ. And while Samuel continued to grow in stature, and in favor of God and men (1 Samuel 2:26), and while he continued ministering before the Lord (1 Samuel 2:18), Eli's sons continued to live in their corrupted ways (1 Samuel 2:12). By the way, 'Hophni' (Chophniy) comes from the word ‘fist’ in Hebrew, while 'Phinehas' comes from two Hebrew words, i.e. ‘peh’ meaning ‘mouth’; and ‘nachash’ meaning ‘serpent'. So, ‘Phinehas’ means ‘mouth of serpent' or 'mouth of judgment'. Theirs was a ministry of condemnation and punishment. But the good news is in the New Covenant (which is also called covenant of grace), Jesus has already carried all your judgment (or condemnation) on the cross, and there's therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ (Romans 8:1).

1 Samuel 2:34-35 then says, 'Now this shall be a sign to you (Eli) that will come upon your two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas, in one day they shall die, both of them. Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and He shall walk before My anointed (Messiah) forever.' People of God, the 'new' has replaced the 'old', and the Bible says this 'new' has made the 'old' obsolete (Hebrews 8:13). 

Let's now look at the contrast between the nature of these two ministries. An Old Covenant ministry is a ministry that 'hits', 'whacks', 'judges', and 'condemns' the 'sheep', whereas a New Covenant ministry is a ministry that keeps feeding and unveiling Jesus in all His loveliness and perfection of His work on the cross. In fact, when Jesus restored Simon Peter back to ministry, He said to him, "Feed My sheep." (see John 21:17) He never said, "Hit My sheep." In short, a New Covenant ministry is a ministry full of the revelation of Jesus at the cross. Never get yourself 'mixed up' between the two.

This change of covenant has already happened on the cross some 2,000 years ago. The cross has indeed made all the difference! So friends, it's important to know & understand which covenant (or ministry) you are in as a believer today.

Remember God's covenant in your life!

Jeremiah 33:20-22: Thus says the Lord: ‘If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that there will not be day and night in their season, then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levites, the priests, My ministers. As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so will I multiply the descendants of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me.'

You know what this actually means? It means ‘as long as there is night & day on earth, God’s covenant with His people still stands, and cannot be broken’! That’s the difference between a ‘covenant’ and a ‘contract’. A covenant is a ‘binding agreement that cannot be broken’. It’s different from say, a job ‘contract’, where it can be ended by mutual consent, or by resignation or dismissal.

Do you know what the first word in Hebrew dictionary is? It’s ‘ab’ which means ‘Father’ (‘Originator’, Chief, Principal). God calls Himself ‘Our Father’, the ‘Originator’, and when He created man, He made man in His image, according to His likeness. Not only that, He even made a covenant with man (Genesis 1:26-28). In other words, He passed on His ‘spiritual DNA’ to man. Notice He never did this to any other creatures. You know what made you so special? You are His covenant son/daughter!

And as God’s covenant people, it is His will to prosper you in all things (in every way), just as He prospers your soul (3 John 2). You know what that means? He wants to prosper you in your finance, in health, in family relationships, in business, in career, and the list goes on! 3 John 2 says ‘all things’. ‘All’ here really means ‘all’! God’s covenant with you comes with ‘prosperity’. The truth is ‘prosperity’ was included in the covenant between God and Abraham (Genesis 24:1, Genesis 24:35), and so is God’s covenant with you today! When Jesus cut a new covenant with you (Mark 14:22-24), He only has ‘blessing’ waiting for you because He has carried all your curse, sicknesses, pains, sorrows, and poverty on the cross, once for all. This happens the moment you receive Jesus as your personal Savior & Lord!

God’s covenant promise (that brings with it ‘blessing’) came on Abraham (Genesis 22:17-18), passed down to Isaac (Genesis 25:5, Genesis 26:3-5, 12-13), then to Jacob (Genesis 28:3-4), all the way to David, and finally to Jesus (Matthew 1:17), and through Jesus, to those of us who believe today. Praise the Lord! You are therefore His covenant people, by faith. God the Father even backed up His covenant with you by an ‘oath’ (Genesis 26:3) that ‘blessing He will bless you, and multiplying He will multiply you’. An ‘oath’ is ‘a promise that will certainly be performed’ (and God swore that He’d do it to Abraham & His descendants). God will not lie or break His promise! (Hebrews 6:18) The Bible even says ‘God swore by Himself, because He could swear by no one greater’ (Hebrews 6:13).

Beloved in Christ, always remember you are His covenant people, and nobody can change that if you don't allow it! You are meant to live in His blessing & prosperity! It’s your spiritual ‘birthright’! Let His blessing overflow and overtake you today!
