I saw a vision of a bottleneck, and I'm going to explain to you why and what is that.
As I saw this vision, the Lord spoke: "If you have been going through a 'bottleneck' situation, and you are anxious, panicky, or even depressed, look to Me and be encouraged. Take heart, because your breakthrough time is nearing! Get ready for a great release and outpouring of My Spirit upon you and over your situation! Get ready to receive the anointing for your breakthrough!"
Many of God's people are at a time of 'bottleneck' at the moment. So beloved of God, if you too are going through a 'bottleneck' time at the moment, take heart and be encouraged. Keep looking to the Lord. Because the Lord is getting you ready for a time of breakthrough!
What is a 'bottleneck' situation?
It simply means you feel so 'squeezed', and you can't see yourself moving ahead or getting ahead in your life.
Here's an illustration. Imagine you are driving in a three-lane highway, and all of a sudden in front of you, there's a roadblock or some kind of roadworks. So, from three lanes, it's now only one lane. And all the cars have to 'squeeze' into that one lane. This of course causes traffic jam. Sometimes, the wait to go through this 'bottleneck' can be very long and frustrating. It's not something that you like to go through. And that's how a 'bottleneck' situation feels like. This can happen in any area of your life, including your spiritual life, career life, ministry life, etc.
But here's a piece of good news. A 'bottleneck' situation usually happens just before a time of great release and breakthrough! In other words, before a time of great release and breakthrough, sometimes God allows you to go through a 'bottleneck' situation. But if you hang on there, your 'clearance' will come, your breakthrough will come, and you'll be driving on the fast lane again!
What kind of 'breakthrough' do you need right now?
It can be a spiritual breakthrough. Maybe you've been going through a 'spiritual wintertime'. Maybe your spiritual life has been dormant or stagnant for a long time, and you need a breakthrough.
Another kind of breakthrough may be financial breakthrough. Maybe your finance has been stuck for a long time, and you need to be set free from your lack or debt.
It can be a breakthrough in the area of your career. It can be a breakthrough in the area of your God-given ministry. It can even be a breakthrough in the area of open doors.
Whatever the breakthrough that you need, there's an anointing being released upon you right now!
By the way, what is the definition of 'breakthrough'?
It can be a sudden or dramatic advancement in your life. It can be a major step forward. It can be a new discovery. It can be a new development. Or it can be an instance of unprecedented success that comes suddenly upon your life.
Whatever it may be, never limit God and what He can do in your life!
Where is one example in the Bible about breakthrough?
1 Chronicles 14:8-9 says, 'Now when the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to search for David. And David heard of it and went out against them. Then the Philistines went and made a raid on the Valley of Rephaim.'
The word 'Rephaim' here actually comes from the Hebrew word 'Rapha'. This word can mean 'heal, cure, repair, make whole'. And our Lord is the Jehovah Rapha. But I want to point you to another meaning of 'Rapha', which is very interesting. And that one meaning is 'vigor'. It means when you receive the 'Rapha' from the Lord, you are being invigorated, you become so refreshed, and you become so enthusiastic for the things that He has put in your heart to do!
And that's exactly what David was experiencing, upon him being anointed as king over all Israel! He had that vigor to build Israel to be a great nation for the Lord! He was so passionate and enthusiastic about bringing the ark of the Lord back to the people!
But you know what, the Philistines (a 'picture' of the enemy) wanted to kill off this vigor!
It is the same today. Maybe the Lord has spoken to you about something that He wants you to do. Maybe it's a prophecy. Maybe it's a dream. Maybe it's a vision. And you are so encouraged and invigorated by some of these. But all of a sudden, the enemy comes in to put a dent to all these.
So, what did David do?
David here can be a 'picture' of you who are a beloved of God. In 1 Chronicles 14:10, David responded by inquiring of the Lord, saying, "Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand?" The Lord then said to David, "Go up, for I will deliver them into your hand."
It is the same with your situation at the moment. Like David, begin to seek the Lord, inquire of the Lord, and commune with the Lord. Because He will surely speak and show you a solution. And you will know exactly what to do, and what steps you can take in dealing with your current situation. Your part, of course, is to humble yourself and be yielded to Him.
1 Chronicles 14:11 then says, 'So they went up to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there. Then David said, "God has broken through my enemies by my hand like a breakthrough of water." Therefore they called the name of that place Baal Perazim.'
Let's look at this name 'Baal Perazim'. The word 'Baal' means 'Master, Possessor'. How about 'Perazim'? It's from this root word 'Peretz', and it can mean 'breaking forth, breakthrough, breach through (in this context, breach through the work of the enemy, breach through the conspiracy of the enemy, or breach through the power of the enemy)'.
Indeed, whatever your 'bottleneck' situation may be at the moment, like David, keep looking to the Lord, keep receiving His anointing for your breakthrough, keep receiving His guidance and direction, and having done all, stand firm in all that He has spoken to you!
And that's how you too shall see the enemy eventually give up on you! And that's when you shall see a great release and breakthrough, even in ways you've never imagined can happen to you. Hallelujah!
