Get ready for your new assignment!

Welcome to the borderless ministry of Triumph in Christ! Every week, we release to you spiritual updates. Some people in the world may release weekly economic update or political update, but we release to you weekly spiritual updates, i.e. what is currently happening in the spiritual realm at the moment or in this time and season.

For more information about this ministry, visit https://www.triumphinchrist.today/

This ministry is an apostolic, prophetic, and teaching ministry to the Body of Christ. So, wherever you are, and in whichever country, city, town, or village you may be, we are here to minister to you and release God's words for this time and season for you!

Here's what the Lord says for now:

"This is an important time to look forward. You cannot afford to look back. Keep your eyes on what is ahead, and not what is behind you. Look to Me and keep your eyes fixed on Me, no matter what happens around you in this world, be it in the geopolitics world or economic world, or even in the Body of Christ."

One of the areas that the Lord has spoken earlier this year regarding 2022 is there's going to be shaking in the geopolitics world, economic world, and even in the Body of Christ. You know why? Because God is purifying. God is preparing His bride for the coming of the Bridegroom Jesus Christ.

So, whatever happens, keep your eyes on the Lord. Fix your eyes on Him and His Word, and not on all those shaking that's happening around you.

The Lord says further:

"Elisha looked at Elijah as he went up on the chariot. If Elisha looked back or turned his eyes away from Elijah, he would have missed the anointing and the double portion, and he would have missed seeing My glory right in front of his eyes!"

Let's go to the background before Elijah went up to heaven. After the Mount Carmel victory against the 450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophets of Asherah, and the drought had ended, Elijah then escaped from Jezebel (the wife of king Ahab). At that time, Elijah was rather discouraged, and he wanted to die. God then began to encourage Elijah and gave Elijah new strength to look forward. And of course, a new assignment was given to Elijah!

So, here's the new assignment for Elijah in that new time and season. 1 Kings 19:15-16 says, 'Then the Lord said to him (Elijah): "Go, return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus; and when you arrive, anoint Hazael as king over Syria. Also you shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi as king over Israel. And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place..."'

1 Kings 19:19-20a says, 'So Elijah departed from there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he was with the twelfth. Then Elijah passed by Elisha and threw his mantle on him. And he left the oxen and ran after Elijah, and said, "Please let me kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you."'

Elisha must have been a very industrious man, having twelve yoke of oxen. But you see here, when God called, he left it all and followed after God's call and the new assignment for him. So, not only Elijah had a new assignment, Elisha also had a new assignment from God!

For some of you, you are in a new season like Elisha. Of course for some of you, you are in a new season like Elijah. Whoever you are, whether you are like Elisha or whether you are like Elijah, the Lord is preparing you, the Lord is giving you a new assignment for this new season, and the Lord is going to show you His glory! Hallelujah!

That's why it's so important to keep looking to God and fix your eyes on God

What is the symbolic meaning of 'Elisha' and what is the symbolic meaning of 'Elijah' here?

The name 'Elisha' is 'Eliysha' or 'Eliyshuwa' in Hebrew, and it means 'God of supplication, God of riches'. It is symbolic of God setting you free to be who God wants you to be. God will supply, God will help, and God will provide, and yes, even in your new assignment!

The name 'Elijah' is 'Eliyah' or 'Eliyahuw' in Hebrew, and it means 'God of Jehovah'. 'Elijah' here therefore represents God who is YAH, the Self-Existent, the Eternal God. As Elisha followed Elijah, it is a 'picture' of you (like Elisha) setting your eyes on the Lord God, the God of Jehovah!

As God has spoken just now, do not look behind and do not look at your past, whatever your past may be, whether your past has been a success, your past has been a failure in your eyes, or your past has been good past, or your past has been not-so-good past. You see, Elisha actually had a good past. He was an industrious person. But when the Lord gave him a new assignment, he said, "Yes Sir! I'm going to follow!"

So, whatever your past may be, look ahead and look to God. You can learn from your past, but you don't linger in your past. Look forward. Don't miss what's ahead of you. Don't miss the glory of the Lord, the anointing, and the double portion that's coming!

As Elisha looked to Elijah, this speaks of you who look to the Lord your God. Though Elijah is just a man, but 'Elijah' here can be symbolic, and is a 'picture' of who God is! You see, Elisha would have missed the anointing and the double portion, and he would have missed witnessing the glory of the Lord right in front of his eyes, if his eyes were not fixed on Elijah. In other words, if Elisha looked back, turned away, or turned his eyes away, Elisha would have missed what God's doing!

2 Kings 2:8-9 says, 'Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground. So, the water of the river divided. And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, "Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?" Elisha said, "Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me."'

2 Kings 2:10 says, 'So he (Elijah) said, "You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so."'

Now, it shows that it's not the man Elijah who could give Elisha anything. It is God!

2 Kings 2:11-12 says, 'Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, "My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!" So Elisha saw Elijah no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces.'

2 Kings 2:13-14 says, 'He (Elisha) also took up the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and he went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan. Then he took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, "Where is the Lord God of Elijah?" And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over.'

Hallelujah! By then, Elisha had received the anointing, and he was entering into a new assignment and a new season! The transition time was over. It's time to be the Elisha whom God has spoken for him to be! It is the same with you! Look not behind you, but look ahead! Like 'Elisha' who kept fixing his eyes on 'Elijah', you keep fixing your eyes on the Lord your God! And the Lord your God is going to show you great and awesome things that you know not of yet!

2 Kings 2:15 then says, 'Now when the sons of the prophets who were from Jericho saw Elisha, they said, "The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha." And they came to meet him, and bowed to the ground before him.'

You see, people began to recognize the anointing and the new things that God was doing in Elisha's life. It is the same with you. People will begin to recognize the anointing that God has placed on you, the new things, and the new assignments that God has given to you.

So, keep receiving from the Lord. Keep looking ahead and looking forward. Because God is going to show you His glory! Though the world may be getting worse and worse (darker and darker), but the glory of the Lord shall be seen upon you clearer and clearer, and God's light shall shine on you brighter and brighter. Hallelujah!

Prayer: "O Lord God, we thank You for Your Word today. We set our eyes on You. We look to You. We look forward. We do not look back. We do not look behind us. But we look ahead of us. And no matter what happens around us in the world, the glory of the Lord in front of us is even greater! We do not want to miss the anointing. We do not want to miss the double portion. We do not want to miss Your glory. We want to be like the 'Elisha' of today. In the name of Jesus. Amen."

Words from God: No more hindrances!

Jesus is alive! A very happy day to you! Welcome to the borderless ministry of Triumph in Christ! Every week, we seek the Lord for the timely revelation in the Word to be released to you! Whether you are an individual, a family, a house church, or church in any form, we are here to minister to you!

The Lord says for this time: "Declare over your life this is the time the stone has been rolled away! This is the time every hindrance and every work of man against you will have to get out of the way! Because nothing in this world can stop My will and My purpose from coming to pass in your life. Seek Me, and you will find Me. Seek My will for your life this new season, and I will show you what to do and how to go about doing it."

Hallelujah!

On this occasion of remembering the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord wants you to declare, "The stone has been rolled away!" I'm going to share with you what does "stone" mean in this context.

Mark 16:1-2 (NKJV) says, 'Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him (Jesus). Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week (i.e. on that Sunday), they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.'

Early on that Sunday morning, that's the earliest time the women could go to the tomb and embalm Jesus' body. Otherwise it's too dark to properly embalm Jesus' body. That was actually the reason why they went to the tomb. They had wanted to make sure there's no stench from Jesus' body.

And look what happened next. Mark 16:3-4 (NKJV) says, 'And they said among themselves, "Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?" But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away - for it was very large.'

You know what this implies? Somebody must have rolled away the stone! I will tell you who!

But before that, let's talk about "stone" here. What is the symbolic meaning of "stone" here? Now, "stone" here can speak of 'any hindrance to God's will and God's purpose for your life.'

So, what are the "stones" in your life? It may be a spiritual hindrance. It may be a hindrance in your soul. Or it may be a hindrance that is caused by the enemy against you, by some people against you, or by the power of darkness against you.

Whatever the hindrance may be, this is your time to declare: "The stone has been rolled away!"

Mark 16:5 (NKJV) says, 'And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe...' You know who that is? An angel in the form of man

This angel then said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him."

So, who rolled away the stone? It was that angel who rolled away the stone!

Of course, these women did not expect to find an empty tomb. They were expecting to find Jesus' body there. But Jesus had already risen! He's no more there!

In Mark 16:7, the angel then told the women, "But go, tell His disciples - and Peter - that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you."

Notice the angel told the women, "Tell His disciples - and Peter..."

The Peter who denied Jesus just a few days ago! Yes, him! I was asking the Lord why that name 'Peter' was specifically mentioned here? And you know what the Lord said to me?

The Lord said, "Tell My people that no matter how they have walked away from Me, no matter how they have denied Me, no matter what wrong they have done in their past, if their hearts are still open to Me, I will embrace them. I will look for them. I will restore them. I will heal them. I will show them My will and My purpose for them. I have great hope for them."

Beloved of God, if you have been like a 'Peter', and you have been far away from the Lord, today the Lord wants you to know that He loves you. He wants to embrace you, He wants to restore you, and He wants to give you a new purpose for your life!

Notice "there you will see Jesus..." What does this imply? In this world that is lost and so dark spiritually, in this fallen world; in spite of all that's happening in this world, if you seek Him, you will find Him. You know what? To find Him is also to find His will for you and His purpose for your life!

It's mentioned here, "there you will see Him, as He said to you." What does this imply? Whatever the Lord has spoken regarding your life, He remembers. He is indeed a God who keeps His promises. So, take heart.

Mark 16:9 (NKJV) says, 'Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.'

Wow! Out of all the people, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene! Mary Magdalene then went and told those who were still mourning and weeping, because they were still thinking that Jesus was dead. And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by Mary Magdalene, they did not believe.

What is the implication here that Jesus appeared first to Mary Magdalene? It means Jesus trusted her! Even though others did not trust her or believe in her, Jesus trusted herWhat can we learn here? Jesus looks into one's heart. No matter what one's past may be, this does not matter to Jesus. You see, Mary Magdalene had a turbulent past. Jesus had to cast seven demons out of her!

Beloved of God, Jesus is not looking at your past, but He is looking at your present. He is looking at your heart right now. And as you dedicate yourself to Him this day, He will know how to take it from here, no matter how terrible or bad your past may be.

Mark 16:14 (NKJV) says, 'Later Jesus appeared to the eleven (disciples) as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.'

Notice the words 'unbelief and hardness of heart' here. In other words, hard as a stone! Remember I was writing about "stone" just now? And "let the stone be rolled away"?

So, let your unbelief and hardness of heart be rolled away! Because all these "stones" are barriers and hindrances to all that God wants to do in your life!

Let go of those unbelief and hardness of heart, and yield to God. Let your heart be like a "sponge" that absorbs all that He wants to tell you or do in your life!

I continue with Mark 16:15-18. Here, Jesus gave the disciples new purpose and new direction in their lives. Interestingly, He only gave these disciples new purpose and new direction in their lives after they have believed! You see? That's how important a believing heart is!

And when they were ready, when they believed, when they have the revelation that Jesus was indeed risen, that's when Jesus said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

Yes, even if they're being surrounded by "serpents", or even if anybody tried to poison them (in the course of them doing what God told them to do), all these will by no means hurt them! Here, Jesus actually gave the disciples His assurances as they 'go and do His will'!

Mark 16:19 (NKJV) says, 'So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God...'

Even now, He is still that glorious God, the resurrected God! He is forever alive!

You are blessed, because you have a Savior Jesus who is alive! Hallelujah!

How to stay youthful and radiant in life?

How do you stay youthful and radiant in life, no matter what your age?

The key here is to receive from Him

Yes, you can eat health food, you can eat well, you can sleep well, you can exercise well, you can do all that you can do in the natural (in the physical realm). Nothing wrong with all these.

But nothing beats receiving directly from Him! Because He is a God who is always fresh, full of life, full of energy, full of radiance, and full of glory!

How many of you know that our God is a God who never gets old? No doubt, this earth will get older and older, but our God is not!

Where is the proof?

Revelation 4:2-3 (NKJV) says, 'Immediately I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance, and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.'

By the way, 'rainbow' here speaks of our God being a covenant-keeping God. He is a God who keeps His covenant, and He is a God who keeps His promises.

How about 'emerald'? The word 'emerald' here is from the Greek word 'smaragdos', and it simply means 'green gem'. In other words, a precious stone that is green in color.

Now, 'green' is the color in Hebrew for 'life, new life, renewal, refreshing, freshness, healing, victory, prosperity'.

If you look at the verse here, 'emerald' or the color 'green' is the color around God's throne! It means He is full of life, freshness, health, victory, and prosperity!

Therefore, when you look to Him, and as you open your heart to Him and receive from Him, you are receiving all that is in Him and around Him!

Do you see that?

Another revelation I want to share with you from the Bible is our God never gets old! He is eternal and everlasting! He is immortal and timeless (i.e. not bound by time)!

You might ask, "Where in the Bible says so?"

Revelation 4:8 (NKJV) says, 'The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!"'

You see, the living creatures in the spiritual realm are so full of life and energy that they do not rest day or night! It means they can keep going on and on, and yet never grow tired or weary. Wow! And who is their Source? The Lord God Almighty!

Revelation 4:9-11 (NKJV) says, 'Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: "You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created."'

Aren't you glad that you worship a God who lives forever and ever, who never gets old, and who is full of life and full of glory?

Psalm 90:1-2 (NKJV) says, 'Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.'

Notice the words 'from everlasting to everlasting' here? We humans are used to things getting old on earth. Our belongings can get old. Our car can get old. Our house can get old. Everything in this fallen world gets old. The earth itself gets old. But I tell you what, our God never gets old!

Isaiah 40:28-29 (NKJV) says, 'Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.'

Maybe at the moment, you are feeling weak, and you feel like you cannot carry on anymore. But I want to encourage you today. Look to the Lord and receive strength from Him.

By the way, this word 'everlasting' here is 'olam' in Hebrew. Indeed, the Lord our God is the El Olam, the Everlasting God! He is a God who is forever and ever!

The word 'olam' can mean 'timeless (not bound by time), perpetual, eternal, always there'. In other words, He continues forever and ever, and He is always there for you!

Isaiah 40:30-31 (NKJV) says, 'Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.'

The word 'wait' here is 'qavah' in Hebrew, and in this context, it can mean 'collect from the Lord, gather from the Lord, expect from the Lord, hope in the Lord, bind together with the Lord, or look patiently to the Lord'.

As you 'qavah', your strength shall be renewed! It's an all-rounded strength from the Lord that money cannot buy and no one on earth can give it to you, because it comes only from the Lord!

Let's go all the way to the very first chapter and first verse in the whole Bible. Genesis 1:1 (NKJV) says, 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.'

Look carefully at this verse: 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.'

You see, this verse is not talking about God's beginning. After all, God is Self-Existent. But rather, this verse is talking about the beginning of the heavens and the earth! In other words, He existed even before all these were created

So, I reiterate that this verse is not talking about God's beginning! Instead, this verse is talking about creation's beginning! It means God was already there even before the earth, the whole universe, or the heavens were created! And that's what Genesis 1:1 tells us!

Therefore, the Bible is very clear that God has always existed! There has never been a time when He didn't exist, and there will never be a time when He stops existing!

There is none like Him!

He is great, and greatly to be praised!

And whatever your situation (or problem) may be at the moment, He is more than enough for you!

So, what's your part right now? What can you do right now? Keep receiving from Him! Never stop receiving from Him! Receive life! Receive refreshing! Receive renewal! Receive all that He wants you to receive from His throne!

And you too shall be full of life and full of the glory of the Lord! Hallelujah!

Prophetic words: In this time and season, the battle is in the mind! Win it!

The Lord says: "In a crucial time of transition like this, and as you await for your breakthrough and victory, guard your thoughts. The enemy is trying to distract and discourage you through your thoughts."

The Lord says further: "In this time and season, the battle is very much in the mind. Set your mind on the things above. Set your mind on My promises for you and My covenant with you. And that's how you'll begin to see more and more of My light, and even fresh ideas and new purposes from heaven to you."

The enemy will try to point you back to your past failures, past regrets, past disappointments, or whatever that you don't want to remember anymore. Take authority in Jesus' name! Bind all those thoughts from the enemy, and he will have to hands off!

The enemy will also try to tell you that you are not good enough, or you are not up to it for your future. But that's a lie! Reject all those lies! Like a tug-of-war, the enemy will try to pull you back to your past, when God wants you to look forward and look ahead!

Like the French word, "avant-garde", look forward and look ahead! Because the Lord is in the midst of releasing upon you many fresh new ideas and new purposes from heaven, going forward!

To back up what God has spoken prophetically, let's quote some Bible verses.

Philippians 4:8 (NKJV) says, 'Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy - meditate on these things.'

The word 'meditate' here is 'logizomai' in Greek. It can mean 'think, conclude or make a conclusion (in your mind), take in (to your mind), take an inventory (into your mind).'

By the way, the word 'inventory' simply means 'a complete list of items in your record'. Imagine you own a warehouse, and you receive the inventory of goods or stocks to fill up your warehouse. As the owner of the warehouse, you decide what inventory of goods or stocks you would like to keep in your warehouse.

So right now, reject all those unwanted 'inventory of goods or stocks' from the enemy into your warehouse! These may be stray thoughts from the enemy, all those negative thoughts, and all those negative reports. Instead, receive all those 'inventory of goods or stocks' from heaven upon you! Receive the anointing! Receive the goodness, wellness, wholeness, good health, protection, favor, and wisdom from heaven! Receive all that God wants you to receive!

Colossians 3:1-2 (NKJV) says, 'If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.'

This doesn't mean you are being irresponsible or being a bad steward of what's been given to you on earth to do. No! The Bible clearly says that you should be a good steward on whatever God has given you to do on earth. But rather, these verses speak of you seeing how God sees and thinking how God thinks regarding your life and what He wants to do in your life here on earth!

Philippians 2:5 (NKJV) says, 'Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus...'

In other words, being like-minded with Christ Jesus!

The word 'mind' here is 'phroneo' in Greek. It's a broad word, and it covers a number of meanings. It can mean 'your thought, your attitude, your opinion, or even your interest (or motivation) in life.'

The first meaning of 'phroneo' is 'your thought'. In the context of this verse, it means 'think like Jesus think'! Have the mind of Christ! Be renewed in your mind to be more and more like Christ! Romans 12:2 says you are not to be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you will prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. In other words, when your mind is renewed, you'll begin to see how God sees and think how God thinks! And that's how you are aligned with the will of God for your life!

The second meaning of 'phroneo' is 'your attitude'. This has to do with your point of view in life. What was Jesus' attitude while on earth? Jesus came on earth to do His Father's will! In Mark 14:36, Jesus said, "Not My will, but My Father's will be done!" That's His point of view in life. It's all about His Father's will. As He is, so should you be!

The third meaning of 'phroneo' is 'your opinion'. This has to do with how you judge a situation. What was Jesus' opinion about life on earth? He's always on the side of the truth! John 1:17 says, '...Grace and truth came through Jesus.' Jesus was never a hypocrite. He was never fake. He was never pretentious. He was never artificial. He was real. As He is, so should you be!

The fourth meaning of 'phroneo' is 'your interest (or motivation) in life'. What was Jesus' interest and motivation while on earth? Jesus' interest and motivation was His Father's business! In other words, the kingdom business! The business of wanting to see the good news of salvation be known to as many people on earth! In Luke 2:49, He said, "Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?" It's all about His Father's kingdom! As He is, so should you be!
