The Lord has spoken that for many of God's people who have been 'submerged' in the past decade, He is going to cause them to 'emerge' and 'rise up' stronger than ever in this new decade. Like old and worn-out 'warships' that have become rusty and useless in the past decade, the Lord is going to give these 'warships' a fresh coat of paint and fresh ammunition, useful and refreshed for His greater glory in this new decade. Behold, He makes all things new! And if you are reading this, let it be so for you! I therefore declare in Jesus' name, that this new decade will be your best decade yet. Amen!
Indeed, when you look to Him, you are never too late! And be rest assured that He will not miss you out! He will know how to redeem your lost time or lost opportunity, and He will know how to accelerate time for you in ways you cannot imagine possible. So, don't look back, and don't linger in your past defeats/failures, because the Lord is definitely not done with you yet!
There is an 'overcoming' and 'overthrowing' anointing being released to God's people at the moment. Receive by faith! Don't miss this time and season to receive, because those who receive will see themselves rising up in ways they never thought possible! The floodgates have been opened, and whatever 'stronghold' the enemy has put against you in the past decade will not be able to stand any further! These 'strongholds' will crumble, and will be swept away by the strong currents of the Lord!
Isaiah 59:19 (NKJV) says, 'So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him'. This is one of the most misinterpreted verses in the Bible. It should be 'like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him (i.e. the stronghold of the enemy, the sin, the curse)', and not 'when the enemy comes in like a flood'! Isaiah 59:19 (NCV) puts it this way, 'Then people from the west will fear the Lord, and people from the east will fear His glory. The Lord will come quickly like a fast-flowing river, driven by the breath of the Lord'. And Isaiah 59:19 (NASB) puts it this way, 'So they will fear the name of the Lord from the west and His glory from the rising of the sun, for He will come like a rushing stream which the wind of the Lord drives'. You see, this is the Lord's flood! Another example of the Lord's flood in the Scripture can be found in Psalm 90:5 (NKJV), that says, 'You (the Lord) carry them away like a flood...' So, the interpretation for Isaiah 59:19 should be this flood that comes from the Lord will lift up a standard against the work of the enemy that had stifled you (and attempted to destroy you). Let the Lord's flood come!
As I prayed further, I heard the Lord say these words:
"Stay true to what I have spoken to you and what I have promised you this year. As I begin to accelerate you and raise you up to be who you are meant to be, it is crucial to stay humble and keep your feet on the ground, no matter how successful or prosperous you've become."
Indeed, in this new decade, it is extremely crucial for God's people to stay humble and keep their feet on the ground. To 'keep your feet on the ground' is to 'remain sensible, level-headed, and not get carried away (by success or achievements)'. Proverbs 22:4 (NKJV) says, 'By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life'. And Proverbs 16:18 (NKJV) says, 'Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall'. So, people of God, when the Lord causes you to increase in your sphere and influence (be it in your community, industry, or ministry), stay humble and keep your feet on the ground. Watch your ego, and don't let it puff up, no matter what. The Lord who sees your humility in the inside of you will know how to honor you and entrust further things to you.
Continue to live a life of yieldedness, worship and surrender to the Lord, and He will know how to lead you every step of the way. In Romans 12:1, the apostle Paul put it aptly, 'I beseech [urge] you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice [of worship and surrender], holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service'. And in Romans 12:2, he continued, 'And do not be conformed to the world [the pattern, the ways of this world], but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove [allow] what is that good, acceptable and perfect will of God [in your life]'.
Do you see something here? Verse 1 leads to verse 2. In other words, you cannot have verse 2 (good, acceptable, perfect will of God) without first having verse 1! A life of yieldedness, worship and surrender to the Lord will always lead to a life that is good, acceptable and perfect will of God, i.e. walking in the very best that God has intended for you on earth. Amen!

Year 2020: A time to be set free and receive your double portion!
The Lord says:
"I am your everlasting light and your glory! This is the time to declare your time of mourning is coming to an end, and your dreams that have gone wasted will be revived! For I am setting you free! I am setting you free from your 'prison' and bondage. I am setting you free from those tricky situations. I am showing you a way to be set free, and I am redeeming those 'wasted' time of yours!"
This is the Part 2 of what the Lord has spoken regarding Year 2020. Part 1 was released on the 1st January 2020. The key chapter to read (and receive by faith) at the moment is Isaiah 61. This chapter begins with Isaiah 61:1 (NLT) saying, 'The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed'.
Indeed, people of God, this is the time to be set free - free to be who you are meant to be in God's sovereign plan!
What are the areas in your life that need to be set free?
- Health problems
- Financial problems
- Family feud
- Bondage and curse
- Tricky situations (difficult situations to deal with, and seemingly no way out)
Whatever your situation may be, the good news is the Lord has a way out for you! Look to Him and believe that your time to be set free has come! He will know how to set you free from your 'prison', and He will know how to redeem whatever 'wasted' or 'lost' time of yours!
Isaiah 60:19-20 (NLT) says, 'No longer will you need the sun to shine by day, nor the moon
to give its light by night, for the Lord your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun will never set; your moon will not go down. For the Lord will be your everlasting light. Your days of mourning will come to an end'. These two verses are beautiful 'pictures' of knowing that the Lord has become your everlasting light and your glory, instead of you looking to the physical world and physical creation for the answer to your problems.
As you can see, Isaiah 61 (the chapter to read at the moment) comes right after Isaiah 60 (that speaks of the Lord being your everlasting light).
Because the Lord has become your everlasting light (that never dims), you can therefore boldly proclaim 'your days of mourning has also come to an end'. Hallelujah! Isaiah 61:7 (NLT) then says, 'Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours'. See how Isaiah 61 ties up with Isaiah 60 here?
Let's look at one example in the Scripture - someone who had seemingly 'wasted' or 'lost' his time, his dreams, and even his opportunities. His life then got from bad to worse (from being a slave to being a prisoner). Yes, he's none other than Joseph. After sharing his dreams about how his brothers would bow down to him, his brothers hated him even more! (Genesis 37:5-9) Speaking of releasing words at the wrong place and wrong time, to the wrong people! He was then thrown into a pit by his brothers, sold as a slave in Egypt, and later on ended up in prison, being falsely accused of trying to rape his master's wife! (Genesis 39:19-20) Things certainly did not look good at all at that point of time!
But God! What was seen by the world as 'a totally hopeless case' eventually had a turn around! With man, it may be impossible; but with God, all things are possible! Joseph's moment of being set free finally came! Pharaoh needed someone to interpret his dreams, but none could interpret the dreams he had - not even the best of all the magicians or wise men in all of Egypt! (Genesis 41:8) It was then that someone (i.e. the king's chief cup-bearer) remembered Joseph, and told Pharaoh that Joseph had the ability to accurately interpret dreams. Pharaoh immediately sent for Joseph, and he was quickly brought from the prison (Genesis 41:14). The rest, of course, is history. Joseph went on to become the person he was meant to be in God's sovereign plan, and in fact, the earlier dreams he had about his brothers bowing down to him actually came to pass!
Interestingly, during that time in Egypt, Joseph had two sons - Manasseh and Ephraim (Genesis 41:50-52). 'Manasseh' ('Menashsheh' in Hebrew) means 'causing to forget (past troubles)', and
'Ephraim' ('Ephrayim' in Hebrew) means 'double fruitfulness'.
For the record, number '20' in Hebrew numeric means 'redemption, attainment, crowning (honor)'. So, '2020' surely means 'double redemption, double attainment, double crowning (honor)'! Indeed, this is the year of double honor and double portion!
People of God, like Joseph, your time of being set free has also come! Look not at those 'wasted' or 'lost' time of yours, but look to the Lord who makes all things beautiful in His time! Know that you are set free for such a time as this, because the Lord has a plan for you to enjoy double honor and possess double portion this year 2020. Amen!

Words for Year 2020 and beyond: "If you look to Me, you are never too late!"
The Lord says:
"Don't look back at your past mistakes. Don't look back at your lost time or lost opportunity. Look to Me instead. If you look to Me, you are never too late! For to Me, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like a day."
The Lord says further:
"I will know how to redeem your lost time or lost opportunity, and I will know how to accelerate you towards your God-given destiny!"
People of God, if you have lost your time, or if you have lost your opportunity in the past decade (for whatever reasons), take heart and be encouraged, because the Lord will know how to regain and restore what is rightfully yours in this new decade. Indeed, if you look to Him, you are never too late!
2 Peter 3:8 (NLT) says, 'But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day'. What does this verse imply? To put it simply, 'what humans achieve in 1000 years, the Lord can achieve the same in just 1 day'! By the way, the number '1000' in Hebrew numeric can mean 'divine, or divine completeness'. In other words, the Lord is 'divine' - 'outside of time', and 'not bound (or limited) by time'. Therefore, He will know how to redeem (gain back) your lost time or lost opportunity (in ways man cannot)! He is a God of all possibilities (even if man thinks it's impossible), if you look to Him! By faith, take these words with you, and receive by faith for your new decade!
One example in the Bible is none other than the apostle Paul. As you see in the New Testament, he was a 'latecomer' compared to Peter, James, John, and many other apostles in the early church. In fact, he was still 'breathing threats against the Lord's followers', when the other apostles were already in the thick of preaching the good news with signs, wonders, and miracles accompanying! But the Lord redeemed his lost time, beginning from the 'great light experience' (Acts 9:1-19), and later on, the Lord even sent the right person (Barnabas) to help him! (Acts 9:26-28)
This year 2020 is a year of acceleration in many things, and the acceleration of many good things in God's people's life!
The word 'accelerate', according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, is defined as:
- to move faster
- to gain speed
- to progress from grade to grade more rapidly than usual
- to bring about at an earlier time
- to increase
What are His plans for you in the decade ahead?
- The new decade will be a decade of Him redeeming your lost time or lost opportunity.
- Your part is to keep moving forward, and do not allow yourself to be 'hounded' by your past.
- A decade of God's greater glory be seen in your life.
- A decade when He'll establish you for His kingdom.
- A decade when you'll begin to walk in greater authority.
Let us give thanks to the Lord in advance, because this is going to be a new decade of God's greater glory be seen in those who look to Him. Amen!
Happy and blessed new year 2020!

But the Lord redeemed his lost time, beginning from the 'great light experience' (Acts 9:1-19), and later on, the Lord even sent the right person (Barnabas) to help him! (Acts 9:26-28)
The name 'Barnabas' is very interesting! From the tribe of Levi and from the island of Cyprus, his original name was Joseph, but he was nicknamed 'Barnabas' by the early apostles (see Acts 4:36). For the record, 'Barnabas' doesn't just mean 'Son of Encouragement', 'Son of Exhortation', or 'Son of Comfort'. In Hebrew, the name 'Barnabas' comes from two words, namely 'Bar' meaning 'son of', and 'Nubas' ('Nabiy') meaning 'prophet, someone speaking by the inspiration of the Spirit of God'. So, as you can see here, the Lord knew how to send the right person to Paul - not just to encourage and comfort him when others 'doubted' him (due to his past 'bad reputation'), but the Lord sent 'a prophetic voice' to guide him in that new stage of his life!
For the year 2020, 2 Chronicles 20:20 will be a 'mainstay' among the many Bible verses God's people shall receive this year. This verse says in New King James Version (NKJV), 'So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper."'
'Tekoa', by the way, is 'Teqowa' in Hebrew, and it means 'to blow the trumpet as a sign of victory, power, and authority'. Indeed, people of God, 'you shall enter a time of victory in the midst of the wilderness'! Therefore, for this year 2020, take courage, look to the Lord, and receive the prophetic voices that the Lord is sending to you, and whatever 'wilderness' that you are in at the moment, you shall begin to enter a time of victory, power, and authority! Just as you see in King Jehoshaphat's days!
How about the specific words from the Lord for the year 2020?

Believe and receive for your new decade beginning 2020:
- The Lord will know how to establish you!
- Don't be afraid to be a 'latecomer'! (in an industry or ministry)
- You are never too late!
- The Lord will 'accelerate' you!
- The Lord will send the right people to help you!
Let us give thanks to the Lord in advance, because this is going to be a new decade of God's greater glory be seen in those who look to Him. Amen!
